Ugh. Somebody just yank this stupid trash off of the airwaves immediately. Same with both Jerry Springer & Steve Wilkos as well. All those kinds of shows does is create stupidity for people in America. Getting back to Maury, they show Paternity tests, out-of-control teens, Obese Babies, Abusive husbands (?), Lie-detector tests, shows about secrets, boot-camp shows, etc.; that's all they ever show! And yet, people are still eating them up.

First of all, how the hell do the women get their abusive husbands to appear on the show? Doesn't make any sense. Plus does anyone believe that abusive men can change in a day or two? No, they can't. It would take months, or years of counseling to do that.

Lie detector tests, do people honestly think that the lie detectors on talk shows, etc. (such as this & Steve Wilkos) are very accurate? Then you might want to read this:

People (the real guilty party) can easily fool around with the lie detector machine to make it look like they're telling the truth (say for instance, a woman is being accused of sleeping with her cousin's boyfriend, & somehow, it came off that she's telling the truth that she didn't have sex with him, even though that she truly did). The guests that appear on it are very stupid to truly believe that & to base their relationships based off of them. Not only that, they don't even tell you exactly how accurate they are! Same with other shows like Steve Wilkos (& probably in real life, as well).

Boot Camp shows: I certainly remember those, but I guess the reason why they don't show those anymore is because something tragically happened to one of the kids. Like Abusive husbands, I don't think that kids can be changed in a few days. Is yelling at them going to help anything? I don't think so.

Obese Babies, the parents ought to be ashamed for exploiting these innocent lives & CPS ought to take their children away from them. I don't care if things don't go their way, let them whine. A baby can't sustain a lot of food & weight that teens & adults like myself could.

Out of Control teens, is it any wonder why they are so out of control? It's because of these so-called "parents" that don't discipline them well enough & is being a "friend" to them instead of just being parents. They let their children become so spoiled, then they wonder why they become freeloaders, etc. & aren't successful in life & wound up being in jail, or even worse, dead.

Plus for secrets, why even both coming on the show just to do that? Why not just do that at home? How do you even get someone on the show just to tell them your secret? That should be done privately, not on television.

Lastly, for paternity tests, ugh, the only ones that I feel sorry for are those innocent children for being put in this kind of situation. Not saying that girls & women are innocent for having sex with too many men, but the guys aren't that much better, either. They just need to learn to keep their legs closed, stop spreading them to every man that they meet, & they'll have themselves their baby's father. Plus guys need to grow up, be real men, & not just having sex with so many women & to keep their pants zipped up. This is one of those reasons why this planet is very overpopulated & why China has put a limit to having children for everyone. The U.S. needs to do the same as well. Not to mention that there are so many children in poverty because of both "parents" that put themselves before their children & to keep having sex whenever they like. And with Maury pretending to feel sorry for the women is just icing on the cake.

So far, the only topics that I like are the ones that come from deformed people, like how they came to be like, etc., transformed, good stories, & showing different videos of shows like "Cheaters", & having those kinds of guests that are guiding the auidence to look at the footage of the videos.

At least Dr. Oz is replacing this crap at 3 P.M. in my area (although we got another Maury show at 5 P.M. on another channel). Hopefully, it will get replaced all together in the near future.

My four-star rating might make for some raised eyebrows. . .I've enjoyed multiple renditions of Shakespeare, gone to art museums with women I've attempted to bed, and sampled my share of culture from a few places- but Maury has a special place in my heart- no one is ever going to convince me that glorious little trailer-sluts showing barely-covered nipples attempting to verify parenthood via surprise DNA test isn't gripping television.  I just love it when nasty things fly out of their purty little mouths. . .next time I'm fantasizing about Bristol Palin. . .

Re: Paternity tests. Where do you find these loud mouth, illiterate sluts? They sleep around so much they don't know who to accuse as the father. And then, when finding out they're wrong, Maury comforts them? How about an apology to the man?

Maury Povich's show preys on the disturbed, disadvantaged people most of whom are poor. In a nutshell, Maury and his team get rich on the misfortunes of the poor. This is the dark side of commercialism.

I used to like to Maury Show, however, they started giving the results the day after. I don't like this because I can't always watch the next day. I feel this is a letdown for me as well as others. I will not watch anymore if this continues. Why watch the first show if you cannot watch the results on the second show.

I will give this show about a 2.5. It is not the worst talk show on Television. It is not great either. He seems to do the same topics over and over. Out of control teenage girls, who gets sent off the boot camp. And "who is the father of this baby?" I am so sick of paternity test topics.{ when he does these topics, it is right up there with Springer} The only time i like this show is when he helps out kids who are sick or have fallen on some bad times. He does nice things for these kids and that is great. I wish he would find other topics to talk about.He seems like a decent enough person trying help out others.Just find some other topics.

Absolutely bottom-of-the-barrel, which is saying something, as this genre of TV is bottom-of-the-barrel under the best of circumstances. Hopefully, this ugly putana is being paid enough money so that it eases the pain when he wakes up in the morning and has to look at his wizened visage in the mirror. Panders to every bigoted and shop-worn stereotype imaginable. The focus is on pregnant women (generally black) and the 12 or 15 guys (generally black) who might be the father. Real uplifting stuff...makes me proud to be a human being. Too bad Connie Chung never was able to get pregnant; Maury could've had her on the show and done DNA testing to see which member of the staff and/or studio audience was responsible. Povich makes Jerry Springer look like Bertrand Russell.

I cannot believe the women who come on this show and look like complete idiots...sorry to put it so bluntly! Right now, I am watching the show with the teenage girls who are 12,13,14,15 years old who are having sex, and disrespecting their moms and everyone else! I am apalled by this! First off, why do these mothers not have any control over these kids!!?? They are the mom, and the kids need guidance and control, and thank God Maury can help, and he does wonderful things, like sending them to boot camp...but when they get home, it wont be long till they go right back to the same way unless these moms can get a backbone! They are on the show crying about it, instead of taking action with the girls! Lock them in their room, they need constant supervision, and someone who is strong enough to control them, if they become physically or verbally abusive, you call the police! You have to let them suffer the negative consequences of their destructive behavior!

When he first started out his show was interesting and like Montel, he seemed to really care about his guests and audience. What happened to him? And I wonder how many ways can you ask the question " Who's the father of your child?"

Maury Povich has turned into a Jerry Springer wanna be. He used to have a variety of topics, but ever since he's turned it into a paternity circus it has definitely lost anything that it had going for it. To me its a waste of air space.

It amazes me that people will go on a show and for the 10th, 11th time test men ... sadly they don't have any self respect. I suppose thats partly why they are in that spot in the first place. The Maury Povich show is despicable in the manner in which it exploits children. The female guests on the show, to say the least, are ignorant for allowing themselves to be exploited in such a manner, and for making such ridiculous displays of themselves; However, the real victims here are the children who are powerless to prevent themselves from becoming spectacles on this reprehensible, circus of a show. There should be laws protecting children from this sort of unconscionable abuse.

I was just watching "It's a miracle Im alive" Maury has these helpless victims on his show... invites them to share their horror story such as the girl that was mauled by the dog when she was 16 months old and now is fifteen, he offers her electronic stuff from Big Lots!!!!!!! It is only good if there is nothing else on TV. I would describe the Maury show as a guilty pleasure. It is very trashy, yet makes up for good entertainment.

Thanks to Maury, I now know that there is a huge load of women in their 20s-30s who are sleeping with ten men at the same time. I also know that it's apparently quite difficult to pass a polygraph test and that it adds to the drama when you run off the stage wailing right after the 8th man has been told, when it comes to some skank's 1 year-old bastard crotch-monkey, Bubba, you are NOT the father.
