Minimalist approach in a world of media delivery gone mad with graphics, background distractions, and tickers with news about celebrity births. Still a classic, it's a calm forum that gives the speakers a chance to go beyond the soundbite world (even if they're still not doing a good job of explaining themselves.) It's still a great news show despite the sizzle of other programs- MTP has kept a tried-and-true formula and didn't pay any mind to the trends of other news shows.

Russert is a good, fair interviewer. He doesn't suck up to either party like some hosts.

Tim Russert reminds me of the little mole who is constantly digging. And actually, I think he assails Dems & Reps alike. He's in my mind the consummate devil's advocate. It's not that he asks biased questions, but rather that he asks the questions that are IN FRONT of the public at the moment. How honestly the respondents answer those questions is put to America to make their own determinations. I can usually tell if someone is lying or caught in a lie, so for me Tim provides the proper forum for our times.

Russert is so obviously biased that I had to quit watching it. If you don't think so go back in time and count how many times he had Daschle on and how many times he's had Frist on. Also, just in the past 2 weeks he has given at least 30 minutes of free air time to Kennedy and to Clark. And before that every Dem candidate. You really can't in all truthfulness tell me that his questions aren't set ups either. Please, you guys, use your brains and look at him without your rose colored glasses.

Meet the Press is always interesting and informative, as Russert usually has important and sometimes controversial people on the show. He always asks the tough questions which usually makes his guests look like total fools (even the President of the United States).

One of my all time favorites Tim makes it work

TIM RUSSERT LIED WHEN HE SAID THAT NOVAK RECEIVED INFORMATION ABOUT WILSON'S WIFE FROM THE ADMINISTRATION. NOVAK SAID HE DID NOT GET ANY INFO FOR WHITE HOUSE. THIS WAS DURING HIS INTERVIEW WITH CONDALESA RICE ON 09/28/03. HE REITERATED THE LIE WITH GEPHARDT LATER. MARVIN A. KLANN

Simply the best of the Sunday morning shows. Russert is fair and balanced. He puts people of both parties on the hot seat, as they should be. No one more prepared in the business than him.

As unbiased as all Fox news is biased. NBC news is true journalism 10l. Fox has the largest stable of egomaniacs on TV.,

Blah, biased news.

Good questioning by Tim Russert, albeit he is a liberal.

Meet The Press is like a wrestling match. They just yell and scream at eachother.
