Psychics can sometimes tap into the energy of a person and get mixed signals.  She may have said she felt that Shawn Hornbeck was dead - but she was getting false energy.  As a Clairvoyant and Clairaudient myself, I know that this can happen.  She is a gifted medium and is a human being who sometimes makes mistakes.  Montel Williams is a dedicated person - takes his show and helping people seriously.  I appreciate the efforts they are both making to help others.  Mistakes and all.

I had respect for Montel, before it became painfully obvious that sylvia browne was a fake. He keeps her on for money and ratings. The fact that he promotes a phoney psychic, makes him lose all credibility in my book. The most obvious "miss" for Sylvia Browne was her saying the Shawn Hornbeck was dead, when he turned up several years later alive having been abducted. i usually only watch when he has sylvia brown on. i think he has a good show. hes tried to keep it from falling into just trash talk.

He's good. I don't think it's a put on act that he is so caring. All shows are part hype and part truth. I think it rates a 4. At least he has a variety of topics and a general interest in each one of them.

According to your too frequent guest, Sylvia Brown,the spirts of dead people are all around us. She is nuts and you aren't far from nuts if you continue to believe in, agree with, and support her arrogant oppossiton to the "WORD OF GOD." I hate what you and she do. My sister watches on Wed. and it hurts me horribly that she believes her beloved son, whom is dead, is watching the happening in his family's lives and is with the other member of our family that have died.Including my own daughter. The Bible states that the hour is coming in which all those in the tombs will hear "Jesus'" voice and come out.My daughter, according to the word of God, is sleeping and isn't conscience of anything at all, and that's why I pray for her. Death is the wages of sin and because of Adam were all sinners and have to die, but with the faith in the ressurection and that Jesus is special and the only one to date that has been ressurected from death to lead the way. I have a tremendous amount of respect for this man. He's the real deal. Intelligent, caring, thoughtful and goes out of his way to really make a difference in folks lives. He's like a male version of Oprah.

Dear Montel, I think your show is very helpful and it is great that you help people get the word out about different things also you help people reunite. I lost my son 9 years ago he missed his first birthday by 5 days. He was at his dads house and he strangled on the mini blind cord while his dad was sleeping. He was my angel from day one. I feel for these people that have lost their kids, it is a hurt that never goes away but you do have to move forward for them. My son would of brighten anyones world as quick as a smile. I just want people to be aware of what the mini blind cord can do so please in the name of my beloved son Christopher James Lee Turner please cut them or by a device called cord cleat, it is a deviced that you place in the window seal and when you put the blinds up you wrap the cord on it. I have made a few mistakes in life, but these mistakes have costed several years of my life. One, marrying the wrong man and living a battered marriage. The beautiful thing, my baby girl. I managed to get out of that mistake after battling in court rooms for 3 years. Being divorced and a single parent to my child for the past 17 years, I decided to leave a good job at the UN and come to Canada. Hoping to give my child the freedom that I never had in my country. But, manipulated by my ex boyfriend, who on hearing that I was immigrating to Canada, lied to me and talked me into coming to Ottawa. Since I was looking for a new start for me and my child. We moved her, sadly this was my second mistake. After 9 months, I was on my own with my child then 13 years old. I have managed to stay a float and live a respectful life. But, it is very hard financially. I want to move back to Toronto, where my brother is, but I can't expect much from him. He turned his back the day I moved to Ottawa. Can you please please ask Slyvia to see my future...I am 42 years old and my daughter will be 18 years. I ask for nothing but for some guidance from her. Could she tell me if moving to Toronto in June 2006 a good move and what my future holds. I am so lonely and hurt here. The three men in Ottawa I trusted, only used me. I used to watch Montel a long time ago but do not now but I gave it a 3 cause it was pretty good from what I can remember. I was switchin' channels one day and came across the show and seen how skinny Montel is getting. I know he has MS and it looks like he's getting skinnier, I know his head is smaller than it used to be. Is he still smokin' the medicinal mariquana? I hope it's working for him I really do.

Montel I would like to say I watched your show about the pitt Bull nawing this 3 year old to death while the father was away serving our country. The mom talks about the neighbors moving without a trace. I know the mom is in pain but to me it's just as much as her fault as it is the neighbors that need to be questioned. Why in the hell would you watch your 3 year old son go up to the door and not wait on someone to answer the door. I think she never watch to began with she was use to him going out with the other kids and just never expected this to happen . We are talking about a 3 year old not 7 and up or even a five year old. I think everyone is giving her a break because of her pain and not looking at the whole story. Besides you don't send a number on a peice of paper you talk to the parents exspecially if he is a minor like that . I feel as a parent she was not acting accordinly. I feel sad for her husband I know he asked her the same thing. They just would not discuss it on national t.v.

most of his shows seem to center on crime and paterity issues and adventures of people. he is very outspoken but controls himself very well

I always liked him. He always seemed to be making a sincere effort to bring us good shows , and help people on his show that might need help. For all I know it was just an act, but at least it was a good one.

Well, he's pretty decent compared to most other talkshows these days, but dude: that Sylvia Brown phoney, I can't believe you're selling out to that crap. I saw a few minutes of one episode of Montel when Sylvia was on and it's almost pitiful to see some of the reactions of people in the audience (I heard somewhere they were actors, but forget where so it's pure speculation at this point)...I totally believe in angels and spirits but they're so much higher a power than living beings, so she's quite self-absorbed by trying to have us believe she can communicate with the dead & whatnot. Psychics are all the same, and I dare say that if it was truly a fact that someone could talk to spirits & predict the future, government officials would be smuggling him/her into Area 51 for a battery of tests.

Montel is the best talk show out of all the ones i watch. Maury is always paternity tests, jerry springer is always which one is gonna get w/ the women or guy, always fighting, and Montel actually has a variety and actually cares about his guests, he goodlooking, sweet, honest, intellegent, u name it , hes all of the above, he has a heart of gold, wish more people was like him, if everyone was like him the world would be such a better place

I especially enjoy watching Sylvia Browne appear on Montel. They seem to have a genuine respect and friendship for each other. Montel also offers a variety of subject matter and doesn't go in the direction of some top talk shows dealing in monitary issues.

awesome show, he doesnt waste our time with pointless shows about people with no values, his focus is always on reality and things that really matter!

I wish that I could talk to Slyvia Brown personally. I thank Montel for having her on his show. I read that Montel get angry if people don't agree with but so does Ophra and Dr. Phil. Montel really gives you something to think about. Sharon

i'll say this much,its better than all other talk-shows that are on-air near that time of day. he can get a little annoying and redundant,but at least there's some intelligence in his guests and topics.

A sincerely rare and inspiring individual with character to spare. I wish him well in managing his condition with MS.

If you're looking for a talk show featuring nothing but 100% white trash, then there's plenty of other shows out there that are more entertaining than this chump.

He has a good show but too lie detector shows, we all know that lie detectors are not really acturate.The show on April 29 with the couple Joe and Vanneesa was great she got what she deserved.He was far too good looking and way younger than her she blew it.He can easily find someone MUCH better than her.

montel has an o.k. show,but he often out talks the experts.He seems to think that he knows everything and gets very angry when his guest don't just sit there and take his abuse.Also that Slyvia Brown that is often a guest is just annoying.Why can't she keep her fingers out of her mouth.Montel needs to take some of his own advice before he starts dishing it out to others.
