For not being on a terribly long time, Dharma and Greg is a pretty big hit by syndication standards. They should of given the series another season or two, people still watch it after all. I would even dare to say if they cleaned it up a little bit they could bring it back and it would be a top 20 show easy.

I love this show. I didn't catch it the first time around but I watch it on FX every morning... I hate that it was cancelled!!

A fun show for occasional viewing. Actually the two sets of parents and their interactions are the most humorous part of this sitcom.

Stupid. And Jenna Elfman s*cks...

THERE'S ALWAYS A LAUGH AND I LOVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO ONE ANOTHER AND THE REST OF THE CHARACTERS.CHARMING

One of the most underappreciated shows ever.

OK. Got old REAL quickly. Good to be gone.
eddill 04/15/2004
The Dharma character was quite unfunny to me from the outset. Too much quirky and not enough character development.
cknez 11/15/2003
Dharma and Greg was a show that got better with age. It did not come into its own life until later in the season when the characters got more defined and the action among them appeard more plausible.
Jeff-is-hot 09/23/2003
Its pretty funny but a little too liberal.

This show would rate at least four stars if Jenna Elfman weren't such a large part of the show. The rest of the cast are spot-on brilliant, but she is obnoxious and flighty and somehow expects people to find her behaviour charming. She is the one reason I can't watch this show, because absolutely everyone else involved are very funny and the show is well written. Ms. Elfman is just too smugly obnoxious, though, so her presence alone removes two or three stars.

i like the show but i'm just now discovering it. it just seem "safer" less predictable than the others.

Was it EVER any good.

Drama and Boring they mean?

great show with Jenna Elfman in it

It runs in syndication here and sometimes I'm too tied down with baby care to change the channel and I wind up watching this. Dharma is annoying, flat out. Anyone who decorates bill payments with glitter and stickers and refuses to eat any food grown outside a 30 mile radius is smoking more than pot, that's for sure.
bmwrocks 05/31/2003
Dharma reminds me of my mom and that show rocks!
Bandstandfan 04/21/2003
Couldn't see the point of this so called show. I thought the character of Dharma was a nut. She seemed to have her head somewhere that it did not belong. Did not see any romance----just sexual tension. No imagination for what was to come. Totally useless for tv viewing.
Joe23665 04/14/2003
Enjoyed the soap opera episode.

This show is so contrived. To begin with, Susan Sullivan was uncomvincing as the rich snob. She is too nice to pull that off. Also, the show's laughs were contrived, and came from fits of fancy instead of from with our familiarity with how familiar characters would react. Still, the stars, Jenna Elfman and Timothy Gibson, do have heat, but they could have learned from watching Rhoda and Mary Tyler Moore Show reruns.

I enjoyed the comedy Dharma & Greg. All the characters seemed to meld together, all with something different to add to each storyline. Loved the parents of both Dharma & Greg. I can't believe they cancelled it. The last show wasn't listed as a series finale. I never saw any print about it being cancelled. I say boo to them cancelling the show!

screw the show. dahrma is hot(in a ditzy blonde kind of way)
JKooks 12/14/2002
This show was such a pathetic, thinly-veiled sounding board for every It-Take-a-Village-Idiot Hillaryism known to exist. Apparently near-absolute liberal domination of the news media wasn't enough, so we had to deal with the (ta-daa!) emancipated hippie goddess, Dharma, and her meek and inept conservative hubby, Greg. Oh gee, it makes me all fuzzy!
Soul_Searcher 11/09/2002
I liked the mix of characters personalities. It demonstrated more real world affects to me than most sitcoms, as the comedy was based on things just about anyone can relate to.
ellebee 10/10/2002
yea!!! i always felt bad for the rest of the cast having to put up with jenna elfman's relentless and amateurish mugging. let's hope they all find nice new jobs and that she finds something she is actually good at.

What has happened to ABC since I was a kid? They produce garbage now. I would expect this show from the Fox network, but not ABC
Mystique 02/02/2002
Started out as one of my favorites, now I can't stand watching it.

I did not care for it.

I like this show because it is refreashing to watch but becarefull on what you just did with the season end didn't like that but overall the acting was great but there friends should get back together and get preg that would be just funny.
norluka 05/21/2001
I watch Dharma and Greg every week, and have since the beginning. While I originally started watching it because of Thomas Gibson, the characters that I think are the best are Kitty and Edward. Anyone who watched Falcon Crest, about 100 years ago, will remember how serious Maggie was and how much of a change, for the better, Kitty is!
Musclegirl 05/16/2001
Was good the first two seasons, but it sucks now.

Used to be one of the best! Now it's like the rest where sex take s it's toll. This was a cute love fest. Now out of character Dahrma is having an affair. Booorrrrriiiinnnggg!
crazy_byrd 02/26/2001
It's funny and lighthearted, but Dharma's character gets annoying REAL quick.
unkystan 02/20/2001
Boy! This show got very tired, very fast. Time to move on

This show is like one of the best! its so funnie tew!!
besterling 12/19/2000
Not as funny this year. And pleasssseee, put Dharma's hair back the way it was. She looks like she has aged 20 years. She looks older than the character that plays her mother.
starbrite 11/25/2000
I wonder if there are hidden caeras that follow me. Several epsiodes of Dharma and Greg seem to be "replays" of my husbands life with me. Several people who know me liken Dharma to me...I'm an older version of Dharma as I am the flower child.
Chelle 11/03/2000
Dharma and Greg are the perfect couple! I envy their relationship. They don't always agree, but they do respect each other. We could learn a lesson from them. Too many people get divorced over silly things that could be worked out if they would respect one another and put some true effort into it. I just love Dharma. She is so far out, yet down to earth. I know that all shows have to end sometime, but for now I really enjoy it and I will enjoy watching the re-runs later. My husband and I watch this show whenever we have the opportunity. It is one of the only ones we can enjoy together.
bambola 10/02/2000
Dharma reminds me of Big Bird, but I'd have to say Big Bird is the more talented of the two.
artbuf 09/17/2000
Gee, can we have ANOTHER comedy about the sex life of a married couple...PLEASE!
jord8861om 07/20/2000
This show used to be a lot better. I miss Greg as his uptight little self!! But I still admit I laugh every time I watch this show.

Nobody gets hurt..but I don't get it. Nothing special here that makes me want to watch.

Dharma & Greg is a fresh comedy with great casting. The writing is hilarious, the sets are vibrant and rich, and the stories are always a little different than what you might predict. A little background for those who are unaware... Dharma (Jenna Elfman) is a free-spirited yoga teacher, and Greg (Thomas Gibson)is an open-minded Harvard-educated U.S. attorney. The couple fell in love at first sight and married on their first date. Raised by bohemian parents, Dharma was taught to shun convention and trust her instincts, while Greg was instilled with a more conventional blue-blood philosophy. With truly opposite approaches to life, Dharma and Greg depend on the power of true love to overcome their own personal challenges as well as the crazy world around them. Since its premiere on September 24th 1997, Dharma & Greg has received numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards and nominations. In 1998, Dharma & Greg won the People's Choice Award for Favorite New Comedy Series. In addition to winning a Best Actress Golden Globe, Jenna Elfman won TV Guide's Award for Favorite Actress in a Comedy. Viewers for Quality Television honored Dharma & Greg with four nominations, including Best Quality Comedy Series.

Really like the show...not as good as last year, however, and opposite "Angel"
