If only the herald bashed on the conservatives...Gee whiz...We got a looooong way to go! It isn't the most right wing paper ever but what do you expect coming from one of the worst cities in terms of crime and corruption? Do you really think they're courageous enough to ask the real questions? Choose the NY times instead!

While this newspaper is no where near as good as the Orlando Sentinel, it isn't half bad. They normally tell it like it is. I would never go out of my way to buy it however, but the people of Miami can't complain too much.

If you want excellent coverage of Latin American and Caribbean events, politics, and business, the Miami Herald is the place to go. However, coverage of national and other international events is poor. Very shallow coverage overall, but then again, this is Miami so what can you expect? The past 4 Sunday editions of the Herald has featured on its front page middle aged divas getting plastic surgery. How vacuous!! Try getting better scope and better writers.

An extremely horrible newspaper. In response to the earlier comment on this publication being "the most conserv. - right wing newspaper nation wide", it is a extremely left-wing paper, jokingly referred to as "The Communist Herald" for its leftist tendencies. Careful reading of this publication will reveal constant bashing of conservatives yet conservative bashing of liberals. It is a paper constantly filled with grammatical errors, not to mention rather blatant spelling errors. How annoying it is to find many pages of the paper filled with useless advertising.

It's Miami, Florida for crying out loud. When did you ever read something good in any waiting room even God's?

This paper has a bad rap, but it hasn't gotten better through the years. Admittedly, it is not the Times or the Journal, but at the end of the day, it's cheap on international standards (at 35 cents per day), and has great coverage of international themes, especially in Latin Amercia.

Great coverage of Latin American business and politics, mediocre coverage of everything else.
