I love Days of our Lives, & even though I havnt got to watch it as long as I would have liked to its still the best soap opera ever. I mean what other show do you know of thats been on as long as Days has. I mean over 40 years its amazing.

THIS IS THE GREATEST SOAP OPERA. I AM 44 YEARS OLD AND HAVE BEEN WATCHING SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL. I WATCHED IT WHILE I WAS STAYING AT MY GRANDMOTHERS. ALSO, I WAS A TEENAGER WHEN BO AND HOPE WERE TEENAGERS AND DATING. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SHOW. I WORK FULL TIME, SO I RECORD IT SO I CAN WATCH IT WHEN I GET HOME.

That's why it has been airing for atleast 40 years!

Used to watch it and Diedre was good but the storylines got so far-fetched.

I hate Martha as Belle, she is better than the girl they used after Kirsten Storms but Kirsten is soo much better. I used to want belle and shawn to get back together but b/c I dont like the new belle, I'd rather he stay with mimi. Martha sucks as Belle!

Many years ago, when there were still wolves in Wales, I lived in a small town where I actually came home for lunch. Out of boredom over the noon hour I would have the television on for background noise. Most of the time "Day of Our Lives" would be on.

Well wouldn't you know it, I started to pay attention and soon I was hooked. This was the Doug and Julie era played by Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes, real life hubby and wife. I can't remember much if any of the plot except that they were star-crossed lovers who were unable to get together because they were married to other people, had amnesia or some other soap opera affliction.

It was entertaining and I was amazed how the soaps could just keep rolling along. I eventually broke the habit through a work change. I understand that Doug and Julie finally got together!

I HATE THE NEW BELLE BLACK!!!! The new actress is horrible I am sorry weather or not you like the story line, other than her family, not a person on earth can think she can act. I could take a stick and out a head on it bobble it around and pretend it can act and do better than she can. As an avid fan of days I am disgusted by the hiring of this new actress. If you have to replace her atleast hire someone who looks like Kirsten Storms and can continue on the spirit of Belle Black. I wan't the old belle back but even more so the new one gone. Signed a very distraught fan:(

This used to be one of my favorite soaps, but they lost me many years ago during the Marlena is possessed by the devil storyline. I tune in from time to time, but it's just SO BAD- characters talking to themselves, BAD writing, bad ACTING. UGH. It's painful to watch now.

This is an ok soap. I think the story lines are soooooooo long, I watch it about once a week & feel like I didn't miss a thing. The whole Jack dying this is so stupid too, give the poor guy a break for once, sheesh. They need some hotties on this show, then maybe I could watch it more.

I have always enjoyed Days of Our Lives, always fun to watch. I do like the other writer better though, he did a better job with the story lines and the actors/actresses were doing better with him.......Days is one of the best soaps of all time, all the characters are always a pleasure to watch. I do wish they would bring back Marlenas memory though before that quack doctor has her under his complete control and she leaves John, or rather John finds out who the Doctor really is....Altogether Days is one of the best.....5 stars*****

I have been watching Day of our lives since I was at least 5 years old. I love watching the show regardless of the some of the story lines. It is a great show and I can't wait till the box set is released I would surely love to see this show from the beginning. I agree with some of the comments that others have made such as bringing back Austin and Carrie and Mike. That was a great story line and either one of them would have made a great couple. As far as the character Belle Black I did like the old belle. I have absolutely nothing against the new belle played by Martha Madison. I think that she does a great job and some people have gone as far as saying that they hate her. I think that is unfair to her. I certainly don't think it is okay for her to be hated for doing her job. Kirsten left the show,Martha filled in as best as she could. I think she does a great job for someone who had been thrown into someone else's shoes.

I want them to bring back Vivian! She was absolutely the whole show between 1992 and 2000. She added conic relief to the show. I'll never forget when in 1997, she checked into a hell hole of a hotel, and sat on the bed in the room, and it folded up with her on it! LOL!

I have watched days forever and a day. This new writer should have stuck to the passions fiasco! Passion has a completely different fan base as Days and should never be written the same. Days use to be wonderful and now it's horrible. I have watched for 30 years and I don't think this new writer ever watched a show in his life. NONE of the characters are acting like themselves. I don't blame Kirsten Storm for leaving, they have turned Belle into a worthless tramp. The actors are great but the WRITER SHOULD BE SHOT! MAKE HIM WATCH SOME OLD SHOWS MAYBE HE'LL GET IT! Please bring back in a writer who knows the show and the characters and cares about them. I am disgusted by this writer.

i think that the new Belle is a good actress but we really need to bring Kristen back! Kristen is much prettier then the new Belle and she made it look like she was actually in love with shawn! OH and that too; Belle should most definately be with Shawn whether she feels guilty or not, I understand that she is also married to him. that also shouldn't have happened! I know that Phillip was there for her but as soon as she saw Shawn, she should have been right back into his arms! It's not fair for Shawn to have to go through that pain since he had been with Belle long before Phillip ever was and he was put in that aweful cage by Jan, that bitch should just die!!! Well these are my feelings and I hope you guyz fix what you have messed up for all of us fans!

It`s hard for me to compared with other soaps, i`ve only look for this one (for about 20 years now), first, it was for improving my english but, then i`ve got caught by the stories but know, I have to say the scripters seems to go no where: it happens in great shows before when there was no replacements for the main caracters after a while, nobody of the younger cast, in Dool, seems to be able to replace old caracters who leave their marks like John, Marlena, Jack, Jennifer. If it continue in this trail, I think everybody can predict what will happen to this great show (it was once, at least)

I didn't like any of the story lines today except for one: Sammy/Stan and the guys saving Philip. The rest: Abe and Lexy, Jan and Mimie - not interested at all. Hope's vendetta against Billie is great, but they didn't show it today. Kate and Roman are so good together; hopefully they will keep being so. For a week, the show was really good (last week). I saw their advertisement before the big reunion episode, and they said something like a big pay-off for viewers. Meaning a big pay-off after putting up with months of crap. But this week, looks like the boring story lines are back.

The actress who plays Belle Black is awful. I've seen better acting in a middle school play.

Way too campy.

I used to love it but its gotten so bad. I can stop watching for months and nothing will have changed when i tune back in. I miss the old days...

Still fun to watch, but I really hate Kate. She needs to get what's coming to her! Also, PLEASE get Marlena and Roman out of that castle. I heard a rumor that they'd be freed by the end of February but that doesn't appear to have been true.

I have watched Days since I was 14 and I am now 51. Please get the old Belle back!!Jen is getting very old and the abortion line was bad for the character. We need a better story line this Marlena and Stefano deal has gone on to long. I can't hardley watch it anymore please make some changes!!

Put Sami in a nut house PERMENANTLY! Her character is absolutely not believable especially after all this time. DO SOMETHING with the Demera's for crying out loud, is another villian not a possibility? What about a week of everyone being with who they should be and major unbelievability out of the picture!!!!! I have been watching the show since litteraly I was in a highchair. I am 20 yrs.old and I still love the show. Some things have been making me mad though. I hate this Phillip. With the other one I actually wanted Phillip and Belle to get together, but not w/this one. I hate the new Belle!! I likethe other Jan better. Sean needs a haircut and to get back w/ Belle. Mimi needs to tell Rex about the abortion and after a fight, end up staying together. I really really want Austin, Carrey, and Mike back. I miss them. I don't want Billie on the show. I hate her character. Bo and Hope are perfect, let them be. And the age changes between the kids were incredibly dumb. You did it with Belle,Phillip, Sean, Brady, and Will. Next Im sure will be Theo and Sean's little bro.

I hate the new belle but I stopped watching for the following reasons.. the new jan...i know im probably the only one but i liked the original jan she was prettier and seemed a lot more evil marlena NOT really being evil...it would have been a nice change of pace had marlena REALLY been the killer i mean there was really no payoff to that storyline it didnt end up meaning ANYTHING...it was just a waste of time nobody was killed marlena is really innocent blah blah blah they should bring carrie mike and austin and those characters back and if youre gonna bring billy back please go get krista allen i only know whats going on with the show because i see commercials while im watching all my children on soapnet

I have been a Days fan forever, I am no longer!!! I am thuroughly disgusted with Mimi's abortion story. I can't believe the writers made such a stupid decision by having her choose an abortion! Especially knowing that she has a loving understanding boyfriend! The decision WILL cost viewers, I guarentee!

I feel just the same as you guys. I used to watch Days all the timeee, I haven't seen it in about 3 weeks and I haven't even missed anything, the storyline dragsss and it's getting really boring, and yeh the new Belle sucks! She can't act, she looks weird, I loved Kristen Storms. She was my favorite actress on the soap. She's awesome. It's so funny how the big twist was them being alive and on the island? How could they die and end up on an island and don't know how they got there? That's so pathetic. Get real!

The new Belle is TERRIBLE!!!!!! Her voice is obnoxious and she looks like a cheap version of the persona she's portraying. She's extremely annoying and can't act. If she's all you got - send the character a way until Kristen comes back.

I do agree with the majority of people that this story writer James Reily is retarded. I too loved days, I bought my tivo just so that I do not miss any episode, but come on we are intelligent viewers, please do not insult our intelligence Mr. Reily. It is terrible when the stories are being dragged for too long. Even though the ratings may have sky rocketed as one viewer indicates but you will loose intelligent viewers.

Get Shawn out of the frekin cage and get rid of Jan! Bring back Kristan and Carrie and Austin. And get every body off that island. That is one of the worst story lines ever.

I've been watching days for about 7 years now...(I'm only 25). What are the writers thinking. The plot about all these people dying..and now their alive on an island. And I though Victor was murderd but Jan and Nicole..he was obviously electricuted..but wow..he's back. And MY GOODNESS..please bring back the old Belle..the new one CANT act and she's quite anoying to listen to and look at. And if all the chareacters who were murdered came back to life again...where is Rex's sister (can't remember her name)?? i find the plot confusing..and i want all of this to move on...and I agree...Sami has got to go!!!!

i love this soap but only one problem it looks like you got rid of storm(belle)atleast someone new is playing her part and i dont like the way she acts or her look sorry you need to bring back storm as belle . it just isnt shawn without the old belle .they worked great together and looked really cute together . the new one really stinks sorry .but she does. ....peggy
