11/14/2000 | I have only played the game once, but in that one time I saw a game with bad graphics, that is way too hard to control. It is not like real hunting at all, you have unlimited shots. It's just too unrealistic for a simulation game.

11/06/2000 | This game is cool. You get to kill helpless animals. There are a lot of cool gadgets that are very realistic. There's ATVs, duckcalls, doe scent, etc. that add to the realism.

10/31/2000 | What can be worse then killing Bambi? The answer: Deer Hunter simulation. This game is nothing but a franchise aimed at inexperienced gamers who play two hours a week. If you are looking for gameplay, depth, or even good 3D graphics, don't buy this game.

10/30/2000 | Deer Hunter is one of the most original sports games out there. Most of the time for "shooting" games they either have games like "Doom" or "Quake", nothing like Deer Hunter.

10/30/2000 | The game is stupidly cool and reminds me of the Oregon Trail, but it quicly loses its appeal, and there is zero replay value. It's probably a cool substitute for people who like to hunt but are unable to.

05/27/2000 | Graphics are moderate. The game is a good premise, but as a hunter, I can tell you it is FAR from a realistic simulation. BTW, deer rarely lay down meekly when shot.
