Good show in it's time. Good casting, writing was decent with well developed suspense. Seemed to run out of good ideas as the seasons continued. But that seems to happen to all t.v. shows.

better than the movies by far

This was very stylish for its time and the message self destructing at the beginning was unique.Unfortunately, Mission Impossible progenitor of many bad programs yet to be born.

early ones were okay. i guess.

Not much into TV but love this show, glad it's back on. It is on DVD now.Even though you knew the good guys would always win, you had no clue what would happen in between (except for the brief clips at the beginning).Almost zero sex, and some violence, but isn't graphic (it would happen quickly, no blood). Gadgets ahead of their time.Whole family likes this show. Too bad there isn't more like this on TV these days.

A great show and I always tuned in if for no other reason then to see barara bain. I not sure why i'm so crazy about her, maybe because she's so cool and pretty. She's so sure of herself and does'nt need the men helping her. Also what great gadgets they had.

One of the best shows from the 60s!

My favorite show during the 60s and early 70s. Loved the episode when they joined the circus with Mary Ann Mobley.

The first season was decent, but it rapidly turned into a caricature of itself.

Best dramatic show on tv in the 60s. Martin Landau and Barbara Bain were brilliant and Peter Lupus was the best built guy on tv.

A brilliant show far ahead of it's time. This is must see.

A TV series Icon...who doesn't know the theme song!!!!

Far fetched garbage. Hard to believe they made a crappy feature film out of this nonsense like 30 years after the show went off the air. Now, that's creative ingenuity!!!

Lynda Day George was perfection.

Mission Impossible was airing in reruns a few years ago on FX, and I watched it a few times, and what I saw was a corny, but entertaining little show that was turned into a horrible movie starring Tom Cruise.

It was alright, but the second one was a little better.

Like Steely Dan's Midnight Cruiser, The Clash's White Riot, or The Beach Boys' Good Vibrations, anything to do with Mission Imp sends a shiver up my-rapidly aging!-spine! Pity then, that there seem to be no new Mission Imp sites on the web. I'm interested in setting up a specifically UK/British MI site( I stayed up till 3.05 this morning to watch an inferior MI re-run! All advice etc. gratefully received("Tapes, Tropes and Trickery",anyone? Cheers, Daredevil xxxx

If you're into action, you've gotta love MI. The way they constantly get themselves into and out of incredibly difficult situations is unsurpassed, and they usually make it look very easy. The actors are top-notch, and the music adds to the suspense. Great show!

The music alone deserves praise.
