Good show.. Ended a little too soon. A classic but some of the episodes could be boring. And the narrator constantly said something about how that time would never come again.. That got a little old. But overall good show.

The Wonder Years was a great show to watch as a kid with their family. I was pretty young when the show was popular, but I do remember watching with my parents and brother. Recently I've seen some re-runs, and still enjoyed the storylines. Since I wasn't growing up in that time period, it was a little hard to relate, but it was definitely interesting to learn about a different time and how it was growing up in the late 60s/early 70s.

I would really give the Wonder Years a 4.5. A five for the first three years and a 4 for the last two. I love this show because this is when I went to junior high in the early 70s.{ the show took place starting in 1968}So I remember all those clothing styles.I think this is one of the more honest shows of growing up. I like the fact it is NOT about a bunch of smart mouthed kids. It gives a more real view of the teen years, painful as they can be. this show is a comedy but has it's dramatic moments too. Losing a favorite teacher, having a crush on a girl,{or boy} fights with your best friend etc. I like the earlier years best. but all the years of the show are good. I would love to get this on DVD. too bad it has not been released yet. guess there is a problem with music rights.

Great family television. Kevin was a bit too whiney and Wayne was more than a jerk. Overall great writing and well acted by the young people involved. I thought the parents had just the right amount of flaws to be interesting. The last couple of years were less enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this show and I hated to see it end. It was reminiscent of television early years. This aired in 1988 and is just as likely to be considered a 1990's television show.

Very Nicely done, smart, warm hearted, Corey, Winnie, the big brother, the mom and dad are all great people, there is also the older sister and her then live in boy friend, and all the other stuff that went along with growing up in the 70's. It was indeed a time of upheavel as well as situations in society go, but also a time of music, social things being changed and challenged.

This series seemed to capture the era it portrayed. The main character was likable and the voice-over worked well. But everyone grew up or older and it was time to move on.

"The Wonder Years" is a pleasant program about growing up. It was funny, but had many heartwarming moments as well. They knew how to tackle serious issues in a tasteful way. It's wonderful viewing for the whole family.

I couldn't stand this show. But my babysitter thought this was the best show ever, so I had to put up with it because my parents went square dancing on Wednesday nights. Nothing like watching Wonder Years with the babysitter to bore a seven year old kid to death.

There IS no one hotter than Danica McKeller to have played Winnie!!!! She was one of the main reasons to watch the show. And, hey, have you seen her photo spread in Stuff magazine? Just try to tell me she's not hot. WY was a great show, lost its charm in the last season, not just because Danica wasn't in it as much, but Kevin (Fred) wasn't the cute kid anymore, but more of a jerk. Oh well, still enjoyed the series.

How can you not love this show? Yes, the show was predictable, but the characters were awesome. Wish someone hotter than Danica McKeller would have played Winnie Cooper, but still an awesome show, and wish it was still on the air.

I absolutely love this show. This represented the quitessential American childhood, and really resonated with alot of the American youth of the time, but also of the youth today. It was a show that made you care about the characters, and was an original and fresh idea at the time. Kevin Arnold lived the kind of life that many including myself would've liked to have experienced. Favorite show of all time. Anyone know if it's out on DVD, and if not when it will be??

this show was OK. The dad scared me sometimes. But, what was the deal with Kevin's sister?! She was in a couple episodes and pretty much kept to herself. We never really saw her on tv. But i have to say that she was my favorite character on the show

I tend to think Dawson's Creek tried to emulate this show, but they failed and just added lots of sex. It's hard for a TV show to make you care about the characters, and I cared about the characters on TWY. This show had heart, and even though I'm not an American baby-boomer, I can appreciate the multi-generational youth experience.

A Shimmering story about a young boy becoming a young man with his nerdy best friend and his on and off girlfriend. Kevin has a father that is gumpy but still most of the time follows the right thing. And his mother is a old fasion 60's mom(she is not a piece of garbage like those Desperate Housewives are)that loves her kids and does alot of things for them(and she does so much without complaining). And Kevins brother has a big pig face but is always making or turning the joke on Kevin. As the show goes on Kevin gets into more trouble and the show becomes more risky to watch. This is still a great nostalgia and so far stands above other shows that try to become it's succesor(I am hinting at that silly Oliver Beene show that was on the air for a short time). I wonder if The Wonder Years is on DVD if not I wish that TNN opps....I am so sorry..I wish spike channel would bring it back to TV(when I'm not working).

Loved this show, a bit of Waltons style but set in 70s suburbs dealing with the hippy movement and a typical depressing father trying to hold back a strong smart woman but unsuccessfully.

A truly wonderful show, funny, sweet and sentimental. The Arnolds were a family people could relate too. The Dad(played wonderfully by Dan Lauria) was often grumpy, didn't have all the answers and sometimes had difficult relationships with his children. The Mom, the terrific Alley Mills was loving, but sometimes spacey, the daughter, Olivia D'Abo was your typical teen, and the older brother Jason Hervey was your obnoxious brother. Then of course was the wonderful Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold who had the right amount of humor, charm and innocence to the character. Daniel Stern was perfect as the older Kevin Arnold. Even though the show took place in the 1960's, people could relate to it with its wit, and it's charm.

The Wonder Years was wonderful and (I thought) original. (I have always wondered if the inspiration was from the movie A Christmas Story (1983).) For the uninitiated, The Wonder Years was a nostalgic look at a young boy and his friends and family as they survive school, adolescence and family struggles through the end of the 1960's and early 1970's, all from the perspective of youth along with the objective commentary of the boy who is now the adult narrator. The focus is on young Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) who must deal with his awkward best friend Paul Pfeiffer (Josh Saviano) and his first love and girl next door Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar). The storylines not only dealt with basic coming of age issues, but also the politics and current events of the day (eg the Summer of Love generation and the Vietnam War). Moreover, the series utilized period music to weave in the emotions, politics, and conflicts of the plots and the late 1960's. As a male I lived the life of Kevin, but was more like his geeky best friend Paul; however, I thought the best part of the series was seeing those awkward years from Winnie's perspective. The Wonder Years was originally broadcast from 1988 to 1993.

Nostalgia is very popular and The Wonder Years is a realistic nostalgic view of how different life used to be. There are those who would like to use 'Ozzie and Harriet', 'The Brady Bunch' as examples of a simpler life, but 'The Wonder Years' paints a picture of life that was much more true. Thre music itself evokes memories and feelings and ties it all up into a wondeful, sentimental package! >:)

Great show. Dealt with real issues in a funny and brilliant way, a TV show that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults. It was the perfect marriage of drama and comedy, one that nearly no show can top. The acting on this show was magnificent, and the characters mixed with the plotlines just sucks you right in. No show EVER will be quite the same as "The Wonder Years."

I wish they had half-ratings here (.5, 1.5, etc), because I would rate this a 3.5. Why? This show wasn't bad, but not my favorite either. I thought it was a pretty cool show but weird at times. It didn't really portay life in the 1960's that well -- it should have been in black and white, IMO. But other than that, it's one of the types of shows I would watch if nothing else was on. My parents both grew up in the 1960's (my dad started 9th grade in 1968 for one), and they say that Wonder Years didn't quite portay the 60's in the correct way.

Im in high school I still watch the wonder years when it comes on. I love the show it reminds me of my junior high and my now high school years that im going through. It's a great show that makes you laugh, and teaches you a little bit about history such as the vietnam war and what life was like back then and how it is now. You're parents always tell you being in high school is the best days of your life. Im starting to believe that."thanks wonder years"
