I havent seen many episodes, but every one I have seen, I loved. David Boreanaz is an amazing actor. I love what he has done with Angel, and Bones.
Isebas 08/07/2008
I really love this show.
McGowan 04/19/2007
I will never forgive the WB for pulling the plug on it,forcing it to end inconclusively. That final episode felt so rushed and forced, because of it.
kolby1973 01/29/2007
This was a rotten spin-off of Buffy. Now had Sarah Michelle Gellar made some cameos..then maybe I would give it 2 stars. Angel was really nothing without Buffy...no character without their love...
kissofangel2 01/27/2007
Loved it.
piper2131 06/23/2006
It took me awile to get interested in angel. I didnt watch it until James marsters went to it and well obviously buffy ended. But Angel is and always will be the best spinoff I have ever watched and one of my favorite shows.
Justxander 07/11/2005
Amazing....for a spinoff to make such a mark on its own is great! Angel is every bit as good as it predecessor, buffy, but with a darker more cinematic feel.
Estoy 01/18/2005
One of the best shows ever on TV.
LSDangerous 07/26/2004
This is to AgentSydBristow, if you hate ANGEL that much then why comment on it. I think its a great show. And to write in and say these stupid comments about it is perfetic. I ain't saying that ALIAS is a bad show but I hate it. And thats my personal opinion and I have a right to it. And I know that its your opinion and its up to you whether u like it or not. But I bet you ain't even watched an episode of it have you, well not properly. You proberly just turned it on and judged it there and then. Im not saying every episode is fantastic. But a huge majority of them are. GREAT SHOW,GREAT CAST,GREAT DRAMA,GREAT WRITERS. (my opinion) lol AgentSydBristow (maybe I should write just how I feel about ALAIS?!)
Mad_Tv_Krazy 07/04/2004
It may not be the best show but I know if Buffy or Angel were on NBC, CBS, FOX, Or ABC they would do much better than on UPN and the WB where no once can watch the show. Angel is one of the best spin-offs yet.
Captain_Quark 06/16/2004
greatest show in the history of television
burgo2004 05/26/2004
This is by far the best TV show made in the last 5 years. It has even surpassed Buffy. The storylines keep you glued to you seat, they twist, they turn , and you never see it coming. It's what drama is all about. I love this show and am suprised more peopl haven't gotten into it. Sure there is the vampire thing, but it is so much more than a goth horror vampire thing. It is funny, it is so well acted, it is written by a group of geniouses, directed and produced in a manner that remains true to itself. It has never sold out. Well done to everyone involved and please leep making this show, because we love it
suncat_nyc 05/07/2004
Impossibly, this show is at its very best in its fifth season. Heartbreaking to think Mutant Enemy won't have another year to develop this show even further. The WB is run by fools.
_diet_coke 04/30/2004
The show is masterfully written, directed and acted, a perfect blend of humor, drama, action, and feelings.
nickkicksass 04/26/2004
I love how people make personal attacks on this site! Just because some people like Angel because David Boreanaz is so hot, doesn't mean all fans think that way. How can you say someone doesn't know good acting? That's YOUR OPINION! Not everyone else's so quit with the personal attacks! Now, Angel is a very goos, sophisticated show with good plots and great acting IN MY OPINION! I like the subtle humour, that isn't as corny as Buffy humour could sometimes be. I think Joss Whedon is a genius. Angel is brilliantly written and the actors on the show can act!
rpuskar 04/21/2004
This is a show that combines unique story lines with a cast of good actors. Although a drama, there is plenty of humor infused to make this one of the better shows for people of all ages. We will miss it. Shame on the WB
AgentSydBristo w 03/31/2004
Horrible show! This shouldn't even be considered a drama! I mean come on! The acting is poor quality, the storylines are poor quality...so why watch it! Angel is an embarrassment to dramas everywhere. Want a good show...watch ALIAS!! Best show around!
nenajj 03/31/2004
Ok we are blaming wb for cancelling angel butu we should be looking to fox who have put up production taxes which has put costs up too much that wb and Angel peeps can no longer fund/make anymore episodes!arghhhhhhhhhh!
buffylover 03/13/2004
The WB sucks for dropping this show. Support Angel by boycotting Dark Shadows!
Restless 03/13/2004
I loved season 1-2 of Angel but was not that keen on some of the storylines in season 3-4 (although it was still better than pretty much anything else on tv), however I am enjoying this current season very much and was very sad to hear it had been cancelled.
Jambaya 03/13/2004
Too good for television
AngelSpikes 02/06/2004
this is the greatest show in the world... i love it! Angel is the sister show to Buffy, i just lost buffy i cant loose Angel too
tvtator 01/31/2004
I have not watched Angel that much but what I have seen I have liked. Josh Whedon is a creative and clever writer. I like the idea of these basically dark and evil creatures doing good and that they could at any moment fall into darkness. David Boreanaz is excellent as Angel, dark, brooding and at times witty. I really like James Marsters as Spike, an individual, very witty, sharp at times edgy and dark. The show doesn't have as tight of an ensemble as Buffy the Vampire Slayer or is as well written as BTVS, but it is still worth watching.
Moonstone 01/17/2004
I just started watching it the beginning of this season. There is some great stuff here. This is an awesome show!
micahan 12/21/2003
another great wb production
pug_lover 12/18/2003
i think it is an interesting show:) just recently got into it
infinitelvs 12/12/2003
Great show before - now that they have added James Marsters to the cast - it is fantastic! He gives new blood to the show (no pun intended!)

Due to a mincommunication in the family, I missed the first season of Angel. I had never been a fan of Buffy and I really didn't know what Angel was all about, so I started watching Buffy Reruns and got caught up on what Angel was all about. I was hooked. I have always been an avid fan of the supernatural and these shows, as silly as they might seem to some, appealed to that part of me. I love watching the character development of Angel, and to be honest, I don't really miss Cordelia or Connor. That was a strange time in the Angel archives. This season is a bit over the top, but after watching yesterday's episode with Lindsay in it, I can see where things are going again. Keep up the good job Joss!
KimberlyHunt 11/19/2003
Another WB great. It is great seeing the old Buffy characters coming onto the show. Keep it up! We're never too old to watch!!
babeeeblooo 11/15/2003
Angel and Spike have great chemistry. Great move! Will we see Buffy in there someday?
spikeybuff 11/14/2003
Joss Whedon is and always has been a genius along with the whole staff of Angel.
DarkNightChild e 11/12/2003
They need a Buffy apperance to spice it up a bit, but otherwise go Angel! Great new season!
Ducks 11/12/2003
Once my favorite show (and character), the quality has varied so wildly, I just can't get into it anymore. Angel is still my favorite character on television, however.
kornpeep 09/14/2003
I actually think it's better than the show from whence it originated.
Spuffyness 05/19/2003
andy hallet is awesome. Best spin of ever
Cat_Mom03 05/16/2003
Its alright...only watched like 5-6 episodes though..
tamasutra 05/11/2003
I hope they renew it for next year. This show had a great season this year. I was very surprised by at least two plot twists (and I usually pick up on them in advance). Without Buffy for next year I'll need to at least be able to see Angel! BTW, I am not a teenager; most of the 30 somethings I know watch Buffy and Angel.
DavidBoreanazL ova 05/09/2003
Angel is the best show on t.v right now. David Boreanaz is the hottest person ever and he is a great actor. The only character I don't like on Angel is Conner but luckily he was taken off the show on the season finale. I am already disappointed about Buffy getting canceled and if Angel gets canceled, I will never watch television again.
Angelus 04/08/2003
I love this show! Charmed and Angel are my two favorite shows out thier. Codelia is hot and so is Winifred "Fred". Angel is the coolest vampire ever!
AngelicDarla 04/05/2003
One of my top two shows.
WilShakes1 01/16/2003
More quality work from the folks who gave us BUFFY ... alas, for me, this one doesn't live up to its parent show's promise. Perhaps it's just that my gender and orientation render me immune to David Boreanz's (evidently massive) sex appeal. Sorry, ladies, but as an actor, Mr. Boreanz runs the gamut of emotions from A to B. This was true of his work in BUFFY as well, where he was (though generally effectively-used by the writers) the least expressive member of the cast. Yes, the writing is good, and overall the show rises above most things I've seen in this genre, but its characters simply aren't as involving as Buffy, Willow, Giles et al., and the constant air of doom and gloom can get a bit monotonous.
sundance70 01/05/2003
One of the most underated shows on television. It's an excellent show.I've been watching for 4 years and I can't wait to see what happens next.
girlinthebalan ce 12/18/2002
As a diehard Buffy fan, I watch Angel because of its tenous connection to Buffy. However, the episodes beginning with the end of last season up to the present season mark the first time that Angel has consistently held my interest. I'd also like to remark on the folks who claim that this show, along with Buffy, is stupid. Shame on you! Though you may not find these shows your cuppa tea, they are not stupid. Though the subject matter of vampires and demons may turn you off, Buffy and Angel have subtext which carry complex, universal themes. College professors have written essays on these shows! So say you don't like it, or the topic is not interesting to you, but don't say it's stupid!
LJThompson 12/07/2002
Fantastic show, great writing and acting, suspense, good character lines that keep evolving. The show has developed some depth and could be hard to understand the humor and twists if you don't stay with it. Love it!
scarlet_273 11/26/2002
I have watched Angel since the beginning and it just continues to get better!! I love watching Angel!!!
Xedra77 11/21/2002
After a serious turn for the dull and boring last season, Angel is back in business and looking up with every episode. Once again action overrides melodrama and I can't wait to see what happens next.
ellebee 11/08/2002
not quite up there with buffy, and agree that doyle's departure was unfortunate, especially as he has been replaced by an increasingly dull lot. there is absolutely zip chemistry between fred and gunn, and poor old wesley always seems to be stiff upper-lipping his way through life's travails. Lorne, however, is fab - a sort of liberace-mixed-with-bette-davis cocktail sipping, karoake singing demon extraordinaire!
areyounow99 10/05/2002
This is one of the best shows on the box. It combines great acting with superb scripts and always entertains.
norelle 04/04/2002
that show is so stupid
