He was great for quite a while, but he hung on way too long. That was incredible that he won more games than the rest of his team did in '72.

One of my favorite stats of all-time is the fact that Carlton won something like 27 games when the Phils total wins were around 52. I think the year was 1972 but I could be wrong...
