Not that I'm a believer in angels, but if they do exist, would they really be this smarmy? The few times I watched I found myself wishing one of the ass-kicker angels like Michael would show up and slap the snot out of someone.

Spike65 07/03/2008
Great spiritually uplifting show. Not too exiting though. Glad to see this show made it as a regular show. Just glad there weren't a host of copycats!
LadyJesusFan77 7 06/11/2007
I was sorry to see this program go off the air.
X Factor Z 03/21/2007
Oh this was just so corny Michael Landonlike fare.
CloudTen 11/11/2006
One of the few inspiring, touching shows of the 90s.
littlebopeep 08/05/2006
THIS SHOW ROX! It is such an inspirational show! How angels interact in ppl' lives, how Tess and Monica are such good friends. Candycane and Comic Tangent have no taste I see!! :P >:P And the good thing is that this show is not religious. Religion divides while spirituality unites. :)
trebon1038 07/29/2006
I thought this show was pretty good at the time. I catch it on reruns now. It was wholesome and good family entertainment.
candy kane 02/03/2006
Touched by an a-hole is more like it.
Arizona Bird 05/27/2005
This show was awesome in it's first, second and third season. And then later Roma Downey became so ugly! It was like a spirit creature had went from a bright light to a wicked witch trying to be an angel. And not to long after this happened the show broke down and was boring enough to make you want to go outside and get some fresh air. Touched By An Angel started off great but in the end it had been passed by shows like Joan Of Arcadia or Everwood(it's not a show about angels that will make you cry but it somehow gives me hope and makes me say I am glad to be alive and might do the same for you. The only problem is the sexual hints the creators of the show put in Everwood that will make you want to click from the WB). Somehow Touched By An Angel kept on going but slowly melted away and was cancelled in 2002(it could have been cancelled in 2003 but I don't care I was just glad when they took their bow). I will be surprised if Roma downey gets any work with her face messed up like it is. The only one that will do anything in Hollywood is Della Reese. The best guest star of Touched By An Angel is one of my favorite singers and that is Wynonna Judd(I like Faith Hill's voice just a little bit better....unfortunately she never appeared on the show...I don't think).
MissPackRat4Je sus 05/18/2005
In a world full of programs void of any moral value whatsoever, this was a welcome change of pace. This could have stood to have run a season or two longer. But Hallmark still shows the reruns, and I can see them anytime I want.
groggnicole 05/06/2005
I loved this show if I needed a good cry this is what i watched loved the 2 shows with The Judd in them the first was the best
ComicTangent 05/04/2005
YES!!! IT IS FINALLY GONE!!!!!
Mooselover 02/03/2005
Wow it's finally cancel after being on air a million years, overall has great messages but it's pretty boring.
T Felicity 10/24/2004
I know it ran its course and I am sorry to see it gone, but it was an excellent program, offering up hope to the hopeless. You don't have to be religious to 'get' this show, it offers someone's explanations of what it's all about and that's good, we need to hear something positive once in a while. I will miss it and all of the characters.
bibliophile 09/02/2004
Occasionally good, but overly didactic and smarmy. Still, better than a lot of other Christian-themed shows I've seen. At least it had heart.
Jesus_Freak 08/19/2004
Dealt with real life situations and showed how we could meet angels and not know it.
apkat 07/17/2004
It's easy to forget what a groundbreaking show this was. The concept was simple, and the variations on it were skillfully rendered for many seasons. I never failed to get something fresh out of a new episode, even after I thought they had already covered every bit of ground they could. It was the first drama show on television to paint God in a positive, and in my view, accurate light. This show affected many, many lives for the better. Thanks to Martha Williamson for this remarkable series.
zatornator11 07/04/2004
This show should be a template for many other shows. There are too few family shows out there that put out a strong message to people. It should have been on another 9 years. I miss it so much. Sundays aren't the same anymore. I think everyone should watch the reruns.
Crisj22 06/29/2004
I loved watching this show. It was inspirational....
LittleK 04/26/2004
I watched the first threes years and stopped watching afterword...I got annoyed with it...It was getting to preachy for me...It was like it was telling me on how I should feel...It was their way or no way at all...It when on way to long....
Larkin 04/17/2004
The most edifying, inspirational television show ever!! This show changed my life!! We were blessed for nine years with Touched By an Angel.
Redoedo 03/30/2004
Good message, but highly boring. I felt touched by a case of diarrhea after watching this.
deigratia22 02/11/2004
This was a refreshing show which showcased good values in a quality program. There should be more shows like this.
CherrySoda99 01/09/2004
A good family show with a lot of good values. Story lines were excellent and they had awesome people to act in it.
Todd Parker 12/18/2003
That white chick looks a little bit like Michael Jackson.
lexxy56 11/14/2003
Great show to watch when tired of the same ol raunchiness and violence on tv. I found you don't have to be a terribly religious person to enjoy it. I think they just tried to emphasize love without getting into all the politics of it. Thumbs up!!
putsypooh 11/08/2003
The show was somewhat entertaining. I personally felt the inaccuracy of depicting an angel as female was too much to take, although the actress portraying the angel is very talented.
tvtator 10/27/2003
"I'm an angel" Ok we get it! Thank heavens this piece of crap is not churning out new episodes anymore. Boring, sappy dribble.
Snoopy 07/23/2003
I like the idea of a show with good, Christian values on the air, but I found Touched by an Angel to be a total waste of my time. I found it way too sappy and saccharine for my taste. (This coming from a woman who reads Chicken Soup for the Soul books and the Family Circus comic strip.) The acting and writing were so bad and the plots were so stupid that I couldn't help laughing, and this is a drama! I don't know how this show lasted on CBS for a decade while good shows like Early Edition, Presidio Med, LA Doctors, and Family Law get cancelled after only one or two seasons. I'll take The Simpsons over this horrible train wreck any day.
obsessive 06/29/2003
It's good to have a show depicting angels. I believe angels do walk among us without us ever knowing.
c.a.scheper 06/22/2003
Why would you change the day of the show?my children and I would love watching it on Sunday evening.SATURDAY!What were you thinking? In this day and age we all need more shows like touched by an angel.
LadyShark4534 06/17/2003
This is a good show. It gives us faith and hope for the future and lets us know someone always cares about you.
grandpa 06/16/2003
LOVE DELLA REESE, SHE MAKES THE SHOW!
m1z9 05/14/2003
Finally, touched by cancellation!
Sharon3802 04/26/2003
Touched By An Angel was one of my favorite shows for the longest time. Unfortunately, 2 mistakes were made by whomever is in charge. One, they never should have moved it from Sunday night. That time slot was perfect. Secondly, when Valerie Bertinelli joined the cast, it was not the same. The character of Gloria was not necessary. I imagine that Tess, Monica and Andrew will live on in reruns. Hopefully without Gloria. Anyway, I'm sad that the show was cancelled. It was good while it lasted; the show was wholesome and good for the entire family.
callmetootie 04/14/2003
Della Reese is amazing on this long-running CBS primetime soap opera. Wonderful.
philc 03/02/2003
Excellent show with spiritual themes. Great acting.
SarahBear 09/13/2002
Getting old, but it's very inspirational.

swoopy1950 07/11/2002
TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL IS A SHOW WHICH PUTS US IN CONTACT WITH HER INNER SELFS. REFRESHES AND REJUVENTIS US TO KNOW THAT THERE IS STILL COMPASSION, LOVE, CARING AND BELIEF IN OURSELVES TO DO GOOD. I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING IT
BuzzC 05/24/2002
Hot, hot Roma Downey makes this whole show. At least thats the only reason I'm into it so much. Monica you're the cat's meow...
Mystique 02/02/2002
The plots are starting to seem a bit contrived, but it's still one of my favorites. Now if they'd leave it on Sunday night I'd be happy!
bunnybluesmile s 11/16/2001
It's about time there is a show on TV that has characters with ethics and morals. I can watch this show with anyone of any age/sex and not wonder if something is going to happen that will embarass me. It's also nice to have a show to watch that has a positive message. My only problem sometimes is having enough kleenex near by. The additon of a "new" angel, Gloria, (Valerie Bertinelli), is a plus for this show. After watching it for 8 years now, I never get tide of it or bored with it. I encourage anyone who is looking for a show to watch with their children on Saturday evenings, or just with a good friend to watch this show!
Rusty 10/16/2001
This is one of the few shows that, to me, seems to have any redeeming qualities, such as trying to live a life according to God, recognizing and righting wrongs, and staring down violence. I enjoy it for the messages and the morals that are demonstrated each week. I watch it on PAX television, which is coincidental because "pax" is Latin for "peace." Besides, Monica is one good-looking woman, to boot.
alainanoel 09/26/2001
Will never tire of this show. It always seems to touch me when I need it the most. I even find myself watching PAX just to catch the reruns.
jennya2j 07/09/2001
touched by an angel is so awesome.
a1classic 07/08/2001
I can not imagine someone calling this show "terrible". That the "terrible" percentage is as high as it is is not only surprising but sad. TV certainly needs more programs like this one. It is nearly impossible to find anything on TV these days, especially primetime, that I will watch, let alone allow my daughters to watch. Having "Touched By An Angel" on the air and doing so well rating-wise brings a glimmer of hope to me. It tells me that our country is not quite as bad off as maybe I had thought earlier. We need to get back to the basics; the realization that there is a God, and, yes, He does love us, but also that we will be held accountable for the things we should not do. God bless all who bring us "Touched By An Angel"!
NCLOUDO 07/04/2001
WHEN I FIRST SEEN THIS SHOW I WAS SURE OF GETTING A BORING RITUAL LIKE YOU GET AT CHURCH. BUT CHURCH IS RARELY EVEN MENTIONED AND THE SHOW ROCKS. OF ALL THE SHOWS I'VE SEEN ON TV, THIS IS ONE OF THE ONES THAT CAN TAKE ANYTHING
NativeOne 07/02/2001
I would like to see a show with Della Reese and the lady (Winslow) from Becker. She could play Tess's sister, whom she had done wrong, and now to find out she is NOT the purest, but does her best to make amends. I believe that they would be great together!!!!! Della you always were and will always be the BEST. Keep singing.
