Very good reality show. It's really more like an extened game show. This season, season 11 was the best so far. Not because of the contestants, although I absolutly love Jordan (congrats!) and can't stand the cheating 2 timing Natalie. But because CBS continues to be creative in designing challenges and tweeking the rules just enough to keep the integrity of the game and keep it interesting. Great job, CBS!

Big brother was good in season 3,that's when I started watching and every single year the contestants get worse and worse.So why do I watch? Quite frankly it's something about watching people survive and be trapped in a house for 3 months! It is interesting no matter how mean and vile(dick Im talking to you) hey It comes on once  year usually when nothing else is happening,the UK version is much,much better.

Big brother is a tv show where the producers give the houseguests the kitchen sink and more. The houseguests are pampy like babies and do nothing to earn anything. The challenges suck and the internet feeds never show anyone taking a shower nekked.

Big brother is different in different parts of the world. I will be rating Australian Big Brother. Just like America, that had 4 episodes (one per year) and now, Australia is about to have Big Brother 5. In the first series, we had house guests such as Jonnie (who was gay but really nice), Sara-Mari (who was very immature and boisterous) and I can't remember the rest. Anyway, it was a great idea and very entertaining. The challenges were interesting, especially when they didn't like doing them. They made petty arguments look interesting and they cut out all the swearing. It was interetsing to see how different people lived with each other. I like watching Big Brother. But there are a few things which I don't like about it. Firstly, the sexually perverse side. During the normal shows, this isn't really a problem. But they have a 'Big Brother Uncut version' which is disgusting. It is full of lust, swearing and they use the most vile language and have the most disgusting jokes. It is amazing how 12 normal people act like a whole bunch of prisoners. Plus, since Big Brother is running out of ideas, in Big Brother 5 (Australia), they are going to make it so that all the 12 house mates are single (pick singles). You can already see what is on the producers mind! It is disgusting and evil how they try to promote pre-marital sex as being entertainment. There has to be a point when Big Brother has to stop, because I can tell, they are running out of ideas to make it interesting. Plus I think it gives us a false impression of what society is really like. Because during Big Brother selections, they choose people who have a relatively high IQ, and who are all outgoing and have hundreds of friends. That is not a true reflection of society. Some of us aren't the brightest spark or have this outgoing personality. I would love to see how a shy person would interact with the group or how the house mates would perform the task if they had mixed intelligence eg some had lower intelligence and some higher. But I do like the fact that Big Brother has such a deep voice and tries to intimidate the house mates. What is so interesting about BB is a lot of it is psychological. They have expert psychologists who plan how BB will talk, how the house will be set up and how to present the tasks and they help BB to design the tasks. Because of the psychological aspect, BB does subtle things which you wouldn't think are psychological, but in actual fact are. Even the colour of the walls have been planned. Some of the walls were purposely coloured to make some people feel trapped, some people feel home sick or some people feel comfortable. What is also good is the fact that the people in the house sometimes respect each other's opinions and BB chooses people who do not have a criminal record ie they choose people with a good character, which aren't prone to violence which is good.

Ratings base on all 5 seasons. Big Brother 1 - horrible. Big Brother 2 - improvement. Big Brother 3 - best of the series. Big Brother 4 - not as good as BB3 but still ok. Big Brother 5 - it was pretty bad, i don't remember any of the people or who run.

Why did they let the audience decide? Of course we vote out the controversial people and keep the nice ones. That is why it was so boring in the end.

Josh Souza is a media***** he has no less than 2 websites, thinks he is all that (he's not) he was one of the most boring hgs on the show and should had been one of the first to go. I rate bb1 a 1 but Josh a minus 500.

Only good that happen in bb1 was it ended and the only person to even to see again was Julie the host. If they is one bright spot Brittany Petros is the most hated person of all time i hear she is busy busing tables at a resturant so much for that career of her's HAHAHA.

Overhyped cak. the UK version got around 6m viewers. that's 10% of the population which means 90% couldn't give a stuff for talentless, nomark retards like Jade Goody but had them shoved down our throats daily 'cos of tabloid obsession.

Unwatchable from Minute 1. Somehow, my wife forced me to watch this as it was running in the summer and Friends reruns are the only thing less funny than the first-viewing of Friends. The only character I liked was the dog (the stripper came in second). The rest of them were uninteresting morons. I know CBS made a tragic blunder. On the heels of Survivor's success, we all expected this to be good as well. However, instead of mixing together young sexy people, which was the formula of success when BB ran in Europe. They went with a culturally-diverse kluge of people who seemed to hate each other immensely. Will Megga was an outright racist. Chicken George's tactic of backstabbing everything in his path and finally getting his comeuppance was maybe the only interesting moment of the show. For the most part, it seems like watching your neighbors worst home movies for eternity. We have never watched a second of Big Brother ever since.

I turned Big Brother off when Gay Josh said that George should get the money. Give me a break! This is a reality show and not a charity. If George needs money for his family, I think he should go back to work. I am glad that Gay Josh, Eddie the Ass, and rest of the whores fade away.

Close to the all time worst show on television. Always had the feeling these were(bad)actors. I never could stomach watching a whole episode. I kept asking myself why they couldn't have picked more interesting people to put on there. All I ever heard was people whining and backstabbing. They were there for the money, nothing else.

Yawn!...Karen-The nasty Paula Jones clone who attacked her ex-husband and Curtis..Josh-The plastic Ken doll who was jealous of the sucessful lawyer...Curtis-Nice guy but boring..George-The trailer park trash with the lame racist skits...Cassandra-Survivor Vee's stone-faced cousin...Britney-a Real World reject ...Jorden-The stripper with a bad attuitude. Mega-Racist media whore. Last but not least, Eddie-I feel sorry for his leg. However I still think he is a phoney. He saids that he wants the money for his family. Why did Eddie said that Josh and George should get it? The only thing I like about this show is the pug. Thats sad!

I was a loyal fan of Big Brother, I think I only missed one show the entire time it was on. Once I got the upgrade I needed, I was hooked on live feeds. The problem with the first big brother was that there was too much public control with all the interesting people getting voted out. And I don't think I need to remind you about George's idiot wife (shame, I actually liked George). Also, I was trully disapointed when Curtis came in third. Josh was a girl player, and Eddie was just plane obnoxious. I couldn't stand him.

I cant beleive that Big Brother was so successful in Australia. itz da crapiest show, itz soooo boring and they r so annoying. they r everwhere now, shouldn't their 15 minutes of fame be up by now, months after it finished??

Hi!! I think that Big Brother was AWSOME. I think that Big Brother 2 will be AWSOME also. The first show airs on July 5th,2001 at 8/7 central.

It would be much better if there were mor interesting and inovative challenges. Just listening to people sit around and talk all the time is boring!

This show was only addicting in the sense that I felt my brain was uncontrollably sucked out of my skull when watching this. The characters were shallow, nothing good happened...and being shut up in a compound that resembled a house was hardly interesting....
