I dont know what happened. Maybe Cartoon Network went under new management in the last couple of years? Or maybe they just hate us all of a sudden but for some reason they have been persistently trying to drive the old fans away with GOD-AWFUL shows in place of the great shows they used to have. Adult Swim used to be Cartoon Networks one saving grace but even Adult Swim has taken a turn for the worse recently. Getting rid of some great anime shows that barely had any air time in favor of airing MORE Inuyasha re-runs which has literally been on Adult Swim for about 4 years or more. We can only hope and pray that Inuyasha's reign of terror will someday come to an end.

Boomerang is a far better cartoon channel, and it has more of the old classics I remember. That's the way Cartoon Network used to be, but now it has mostly cartoons for this up and coming generation, and Boomerang seems to have picked up where CN left off.

Cartoon Network has lost its purpose. It replaced nearly all of its original good programming with garbage, save for a few good shows. The live action shows, Out of Jimmy's head etc. are terrible and the whole "Fried Dynamite" concept blows. Toonami's new image and time block are a shadow of what it once was and Adult Swim's lineup gets worse by the month incorporating more and more cheap trash animation (the bumpers are more entertaining than the shows). My overall opinion is that Cartoon Network is not worth the time I'll just buy the 2 shows I like on DVD.

Cartoon network rocks if only for the Adult Swim lineup and naruto which is on right before it. Some of the real cartoons are also ok like courage and tom and jerry. However most of the stuff on in the daytime is just kid cartoons so I really dont watch it until 11.

Cartoon Network back in the day was great. Awesome shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Johnny Bravo, The Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Lab, and Cow and Chicken made the network one of the best networks around. They have a couple of good shows around today, such as Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, which is quite original in it's art style and story; and Camp Lazlo, which brings back some jokes from Rocko's Modern life(Granted, more subtly); but that is about it. Now, they are making poor decisions. One such example was Tickle U, which completely flopped, sucked, and wasted time. Another example is Miguzi, which also completely sucked. Other shows in their current lineup are mediocre, at best. One such example is Ben 10. It's Japanamtion from American artists with a terrible plot and storyline. Another one of their crap shows was Squirrel Boy. One of the worst art styles ever, and completely recycled jokes that usually aren't funny in the situation they are put in (Either from the horrific art style, or they just don't fit the situation). Re-Animated was also a complete flop. Honestly, what were they thinking? If someone was hit by a train, they would usually break a couple of limbs, not need brain transplant. It is also a horrible parody of the Disney lineup.

Overall, Cartoon Network is worth turning on for reruns of Courage, and for Foster's and Camp Lazlo.

I want whoever reads this to know that I am a big fan of Cartoon Network, not this new CN or whatever you call it. No I mean the real classic, clever, family friendly cartoons that use to come on a few years ago. Please think deeply about this, how can you compare shows like monkey boy camp or whatever it is called to the well written story lines of Dexter's Lab and the Power Puff girls. Even though Ed, Edd, and Eddy has no real point and is just simply stupid, at least it had a unique jazz to it. And where did all of the classics go to like Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Tom and Jerry.
The biggest question of all is where did the Looney Toons go? Thats almost as sad as Disney getting rid of Mickey Mouse! Please think about very carefully. Cartoon Network has replaced the shows that it has been famous for like Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, and Courage with junk like Ben 10, That super man dog thing, and that Imaginary Friend show.

i love cartoon network, but does anyone remeber the show with the girl who was playing tennis then this guy called tai or something comes along and takes her to another world and sometimes he sprouted wings and looked like an angel?
or the one with the group of girls that were different colours with magical sticks that gave them powers? they were both anime things, and i really want to know what they're called!

Bring back the old cartoons from the 60's and 70's. They were a lot better in my opinion than those on the tube today. I enjoyed Elmer Fudd, Woody Woodpecker, Casper, Flintstones, Jetsons, Tom and Jerry, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Yogi Bear, Wally Gator, Mister Magoo, Popeye and on and on...

I like Cartoon Network. I like watchin' Inuyasha, but I got tired of waitin so I downloaded some japanese episodes off the internet...which takes an awfully long time when your on crappy dial up. It took me a week to download one episode!!

My favorite Cartoon Network cartoons are: Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball Z, Futurama, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken.

With the cancellation of "Star Trek: Enterprise" and the loss of all good primetime shows in addition to the ever-villianous menace of reality telvision, Cartoon Network has become one of the few networks that I watch on a regular basis.

True, they don't show alot of classic cartoons--but thankfully the majority of those, including a huge amount of Hanna Barbara shows are on DVD--but they make up for it with recent classics, and some good first-run shows.

Their best first-run show is the brilliantly-creative "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends!" Creative, funny, upbeat, and just plain enjoyable. Several other shows airing with new episodes are quite enjoyable including "Totally Spies," "Atomic Betty," "Justice League Unlimited," "Teen Titans," and the hyper-crazy "BoBoBo Bo-Bo Bo-Bo."

Cartoon Network is now also home to the first-run episodes of Pokemon's 9th season, Battle Frontier. They also air repeats of the earlier seasons, the specials, and the entertaining spin-off, Pokemon Chronicles.

With more creativity than all of the major networks combined (Foster's alone has more imagination put into it than Lost, Desperate Housewives, 24, Arrested Development, and CSI put together), and tons of great, good-natured programs, Cartoon Network remains one of the few great cable channels amongst a sea of copycat programmers.

I still like Cartoon Network, even what with all of it's changes during recent years. However, mostly everyone on this mug is right. They need to diss some shows like Ed, Edd and Eddy. Let me give y'all a list:
Ed, Edd and Eddy-sucks badly, plot and all
Ben 10- bores me; doesn't interest me, and the theme song sucks badly
Bobobo-bobobo-my nickname is Bo-doesn't mean I would waste a half-hour watching this crazy-ass, bad excuse of an anime showLOL
Toonami has kinda gone to seas...they need tweaking a bit-I have to say that the only show that seems to make more sense is IGPX-which I haven't watched yet. One Piece is kinda boring-not that bad, doesn't interest me cuz pirates don't generally interest me and the art style of the series is a lil not my taste.
Mucha Lucha is mucha, muy estupido.LOL
Camp Lazlo doesn't interest me much either.
My lil sis likes Atomic Betty-I take it or leave it. I left it. lol
The other shows I do like:
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (cuz it never hurts to have fantasy in our sometimes-troubled lives-I used to hate it a lil lol)
Teen Titans-good show; series
PuffyAmiYumi-I like this show; I love shows about bands-I have watched many shows about bands, however the background animation for the show could not suck any worse. :|
Totally Spies-This show rox-been watching it for years now
Billy and Mandy is okay; even with odd humor lol
Codename:Kids Next Door-it's okay and unique
Juniper Lee is a nice show
Xiaolin Showdown is okay-I used to think it was boring
Miguzi is great ^_^
Code Lyoko rox
btw I can't see anyone liking Ed, Edd and Eddy. That show sucks eggs. :P
I loved PPG (Powerpuff Girls)

I think you should bring back dexter's laboratory , powerpuff girls , cow and chicken , johnny bravo , ed edd and eddy , looney toons , tom and jerry , i am weasel , and the other classic cartoons ,and also courage the cowardly dog.I know that a bunch of people including me who are mad at you people for showing cartoons like mucha lucha ,ben 10 , hi hi puffyamiyumi , camp lazlo , yu gi oh gx, my monkey's a gym partner, and bring back the great cartoons that I mentioned . I am asking you very nicely to please bring back the good old shows I mentioned and I will promise cartoon network will be loved by everyone. ya'll were like the best network when you played everything i mentioned . and another thing please quit making cartoon network look like a city and another thing I would love would be to have the old cartoon network logo.I liked the old blue background where the character said cartoon cartoons.

This channel really sucks now. All this new crap sucks like Codename KND, Atomic Betty, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, My Gym Partner's a monkey, mucha lucha, Juniper Lee, Miguzi, Ben 10, Robotboy, Xailon Showdown and especcially Zixx. That not even a cartoon! The only good shows on CN are Ed Edd n Eddy, Camp Lazlo, Foster's Home, and Billy and Mandy. I want the old shows on like Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Sheep in the Big City, 2 Stupid Dogs, and Robot Jones. I also want the classic family cartoons like Looney Tunes, Flintstones, Jetsons, Tom n Jerry, Scooby Doo (not whats new or a pup named I want the real Scooby Doo) and Huckleberry Hound. And please, for the love of god take off Krypto, Baby Loony Tunes, and TICKLE U!!!!!! This is not a 2-4 channel it's a 5 and older channel! I also want Yu Yu Hakusho back on Toonami. Fridays now sucks they make it look like a baby land now, they need the original one back on. Cartoon cartoons also changed. They used to do the little logo and the head of a character would come out and say "cartoon cartoons". They also screwed up the commercials, they made it look like a city. I liked it better with the blue background and they say "what's coming up next followed by the next cartoon." Cartoon theartre plays horrible movies, they don't even play cartoon movies. They also don't do the "extra" thing at the end of the movie. The new logo sucks I liked it better with the checker board logo. I'm done ranting.

Midnight56, if you're missing Swat Cats, you might chaange the channel to Cartoon Network's sister station Boomerang. :P hehe :) Anyways, Cartoon Network shows quite a few new shows throughout the day, and Adult Swim has some fine stuff on for older viewers, especially insomniac ones. Otherwise, set your VCR or DVR to record your favorite anime like I do.

The only shows I even bother to watch on this freaking channel are Foster's Home and Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I used love the Ed show, then I hated it cause it was annoying (so I know where you guys are coming from on that one), but then I remembered the memories I had when I was younger of watching marathons of it. And the good thing is, they keep older shows of our generations memories still going - plus the new episodes are freaking hilarious!!! Seriously. I mean yeah, some episodes make me wonder, but the others...gold. GOLD!! Fosters is pretty much another one of the neatest shows - both of them have original animation, so it doesnt look like just any other show. (hard to say for other channels) I dunno..shows like Puffy AmiYumi honestly suck hardcore, but you know.. Looking past the cutsi-want-to-be-in-japan-trying-too-hard-to-be-anime shows, its great. Rock on, Futurama!

New cartoons suck! They shouldn't have took off all the good cartoons like The Road Runner, Scooby Doo not What's New Scooby Doo, but the regular old Scooby Doo, and Batman and Robin, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Johnny Bravo, and Cow and Chicken. People who published or wrote those new cartoons who are in thier 60s or any age some of you say that you watched old cartoons. Man why should anyone that loves classic cartoons beleive you? All those cuss words and nudity those kids are seeing! You guys are discusting. Some of you take old cartoons and redraw them or try to remake them and you add stupid stuff to them. When I was four I use to watch cartoons until 10:00 p.m without seeing Adult Swim or any other stupid new ones. You've just ruined classic cartoons forever. Change them back, please. What do you have to say to your selves?

What the hell ever happened to the old Cartoon Network, I mean all this knew crap is coming on like Teen Titans Muguzi, Billy and Mandy, What's New Scooby-Doo,and new stuff on Toonami which has really changed. Plus they don't even show Acme Hour, Toonheads, Tex Avery, Bugs n Daffy, The Flintstones, the shorts that tell when a cartoon would come on,I am Weasel + Cow and Chicken and Johnny Bravo which I really enjoyed is gone,Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Ed,Edd,Eddy Scooby-Doo Where are You only comes once Friday late night which is a pretty big shame in my book.Only old Powerpuff Girls Dexter's and Johnny Bravo episodes are good new ones are pure freakin crap. Cartoon Cartoon Friday's has also changed it used to be a cartoon hosting the show now it's two humans who do it which is pretty stupid. Superchunk marathons don't come on, June Bugs doesn't come on, and Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theathre doesn't even play good movies anymore Tom and Jerry only comes on at 6:00 am on Saturday. Cartoon Network isn't even 24/7 anymore instead stupid Adult Swim which should be on another channel takes over from 10 pm to 5am, and they changed how cartoon comes on it used to be opening credits then start the show then have the commercial in the middle then the rest of the show then commercial again then they say what coming up next followed by so and so then a commercial then the next show starts. The way they do it now is they play opening credits go to a commercial then play the cartoon then they say what's on now and then what's coming next then a commercial then before the show starts again they what's on now then what's next then show continues. Bottom line curentlly now Cartoon Network and its new schedule stinks I used to like it when the old original stuff was coming on. They also don't show Tom and Jerry Slamfest anymore. Also I hate the new logo to damn big. Lastly I like the male annoucer way better he was more enthusiatic the woman that does it now is terrible. Nick J. P.S please take this crap off before i go mad and crazy as hell

First of all excuse if i make mistakes. English is not my first language. :-) Here it goes. I consider myself as an old fan. I've been wathing Cartoon Network since 1991 when i was in first grade. At first i understood nothing. It was my first real encounter with the english language. The cartoons were great. Every single day i watched it for a long-long time. When i started learning english in school in 5th grade i could easily make a sentence far more complicated than any other in my class. I was ahead with the subject. I always finished my tests long before other people. I'm writing all this to say that i remember the old school. I remember (random order, excuse mistakes) The Biscuits, the Power Zone and Super Adventures with Space Ghost, Birdman, Galaxy Trio, Swat Kats (personal fave), The Centurions, The Impossibles. I remember Inch High Private Eye, Help! it's the hair bear bunch, Funky Phantom, Josie and the pussycats, Wacky Races, those short ones: Wally Gator, Yogi Bear, Huckelberry Hound, Quickdraw McGraw, the Richochet rabbit, Pixie, Dixie & Mr. Jinks, Scooby's olympics (drat, what was the name) with the three teams and their leaders Yogi, Scooby and Dick Dastardly. I'm missing a lot of cartoons. These are just some i remember at the moment. These are the classic cartoons. Most of them are probably never going to be aired again. Later CN started with their What A Cartoon show. That was the beginning of many of the new shows. The first episodes of Dexter's Lab, Cow & Chicken, Johny Bravo etc. Now there are many cartoons i can't watch because i don't have the time and my cable operator doesn't air the full schdule AND it's not the original CN, so to say. Nonetheless i do see where things are going. Cartoon Network is a television company and as such it is influenced by its viewers. There are such cartoons now because there are people who do enjoy them. If there weren't such people those cartoons wouldn't be on air. CN realised the new shows would be s seller so they kept them and stopped some of the old ones. I guess the feedback after that had been disturbing for them but they couldn't stop the new shows and because the public wanted old shows as well, CN created Boomerang. That's my opinion on that. I don't say it's perfect as things could've been done better. But still, at least some ot the shows are still alive. It's better than nothing i think. I can't watch CN now but i can see what those new cartoons are about on www.cartoonnetwork.com. They do sound a bit stupid but i can't say for sure until i have watched them. The old school is gone for good. There may be some flashbacks but it's far from what i wish it could be. Actually i did watch Teen Titans and NO, it's not crap. Actually i liked it very much. I'm happy there's going to be season 5 with another 13 episodes. I was sceptic about Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy for example but it turned out a great toon. What i'm trying to say is don't blame the TV station completely. Yes they do try new and new shows but if the feedback is more negative than positive those cartoons won't continue to be aired. They release a cartoon and if it is accepted by the audience it stays, if not... well you know. If SOMEHOW EVERYONE stop watching CN until the old shows are back it would be done as soon as possible, after all that's the audience and no audience means no profit. Think about it. Now when i think about those days long-long gone i smile as the memories were great. Alas they remain only in my mind. People tend to blame the most obvious thing but fail to realize that reasons for their anger is almost always much more complex and the person/thing/institution they blame has a far less fault for the situation. I gave CN such score because i still think the shows should changed a bit but as it gave me unforgetable memories i CAN'T give less than 4 stars.

What happened to the classic cartoons that they used to show? Like Bugs Bunny. U know this channel sucks!

If it hadn't been for Ed Edd and Eddy, Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls I would have only given this sorry-disgraceful-filled-with-heck-awful-anime-channel 1 star.

this channel rocks. all of you people out there( im pretty sure all of you who say this are like 40 or older) who say they need more old cartoons like looney toons, you got youre chance. its to late to see it again. i admitt some of these new shows are dumb, but others, like ed edd n eddy are awesome. totally original. also, too much anime. it just gets on my nerves how much of almost the exactt same show can have so many titles. db dbz dbg. take it somewhere else, like another channel. also like the late night shows. in all great chanel, friends cant appreciate it.

cartoon network kicks the sh*t out of nickelodeon these days. but their programming does need to be vamped up a little, even so when youve got family guy and some top notch anime in your lineup, your good to go

They show the same cartoons over and over again with in a week even sometimes in two days. They have no new shows. No one wants to watch Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, and Duck Dogers all day long. There movies are terrible except for The Return of the King.

Putting on a show with violence and sex at 8:30 in the morning called Grim is morally wrong for children. I watched this by accident and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Must be targetted for 2-4 year olds since other kids are in school. Absolutely needs to be taken off.
