I like plenty of the shows, especially adult swim. This guy talks about how the cartoons now have no good morals. First of all kids should learn morals from their parents, not the T.V. Second turn off your T.V. and actually pay attention to your kids! or give them up for adoption if you don't feel like paying attention to them because you are lousy parents!

i don't even need to explain because everyone already know the thousands of reasons of why it sucks now. they got these shitty live actions shows and reality shows on a CARTOON network. all of their new shows suck, they have bad morals for children which is why kids are so fucking retarded today, because of this kind of shit they watch. their major problem though is they put too much of their focus on ratings and not enough focus on actually entertaining people. they think they can just throw together a poorly drawn, unfunny cartoon and call it entertainment for kids. but sadly this once great channel has turned to shit and is now dyeing off slowly.

When it first came out,(when i was little), it was great. it had Loony toons,Tom and Jerry,all those classic stuff.And it had Cartoon cartoon fridays, which was great. Then came some new stuff like Johnny Bravo,Powerpuff girls,Time squad,Dexter's Laboratory, and Ed Edd'n'Eddy.
Then came the new fridays. it wasent as bad. But it was human.It had my fave shows though.


Then came the 2nd era. Its when cn started to go down.It was good, but not as good as the originals. The new era stuff was Teen Titans,Codename: Kids next door, Fosters home, and Billy and mandy.Some new blocks came like Miguzi. It had Teen Titans, Winx club (that dint last long because its a girl show and more boys watch cn),Ninja Turtles( i thought 4Kids had the right to own Ninja Turtles), and diff stuff that i cant name right now.Then they started to go down when they cancelled dexters lab and replced it with Ben 10( which was one of the most biggest mistakes ever, i hate Ben 10 and dext lad rocks).


Then came the 3rd era. Which made cn suck horribly with new blocks that really suck and shows that are even worse.Chowder... ...A FOOD SHOW?????... ... You got to be kidding. Its not funny and its weird.Flapjack is even worse.Then came Fried Dynamite which was the worst block EVER!!!!!! the host even pisses me of even more.The shows on CN real, OMG!!!!! WORST IDEA EEEEEVVVVVVEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were a number of shows that I liked on Cartoon Network, especially Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, but they were thrown away at a moment's notice and it's impossible to follow the network's scheduling. It's hard to feel any loyalty to a channel that seems more interested in following trends than creating them.

Cartoon Network = epic failure.

I grew up with Cartoon Network as a 90's kid, and it was honestly my favorite channel. I watched it all the freaking time. My favorites were Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd n' Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, and Time Squad (doesn't anybody remember that one? It ruled!). I loved the bumpers in between with the word 'Next' being squashed by a piano and an anvil. I espacially loved the 'Cartoon Cartoon' ones and the 'Cartoon Cartoon Fridays!' one.

I'd say when the new friday night show came, 'Fridays', that's when it started going downhill. By the way, what ever happened to friday nights on kids' networks? Friday nights used to be fun, since it's the first part of the weekend, a.k.a freedom! Nobody cares about Friday nights anymore!

But anyway, near the beginning of 'Fridays' it was tolerable. I remember complaining that it was hosted by real people and not cartoons (because Cartoon Cartoon Fridays was 'hosted' by cartoons), but sometimes I watched it anyway because they still had my favorite shows. But, near the end, when they replaced the girl host with some other chick, it wasn't watchable at all.

But even in the second era of Cartoon Network with shows such as Codename: Kids Next Door, Teen Titans (awesome show, I miss it), etc, it was still tolerable! It wasn't the same as the old days, but it was still watchable.

Then came Cartoon Network's 3rd makeover. Awful. I hated Camp Lazlo. I hated my Gym Partner's a Monkey. I hated the stupid slogan, 'Yes!' I hated the bumpers. And this era was the one when they began getting rid of all of their original Hanna Barbera shows and tried to make their own. Yeah, bad idea. They also got rid of their other good non-Hanna Barbera shows, even Teen Titans, which I have to add, got #2 in ratings in its prime. Can someone please explain to me HOW that was a smart move?
One of the only saving graces in this era was Naruto, which they've now stopped showing re-runs of. Yeah, another bad move.

Now, present Cartoon Network. Toonami's gone. Need I say more?
And they keep trying to make catchy time slot names such as 'Har Har Tharsdays'. By the way, Thursdays? That's pretty much the most random day they could have picked. Mondays, that makes sense, because most people hate Mondays and need some cheering up. Wednesdays, because that's the middle of the week, and some people need motivation to help them get through the rest of the week. Fridays, a celebration for the beginning of the weekend. But Thursdays? Come on!

The logo is ugly. It's completely different from the original checkerboard logo from its early days, which was my favorite. And what's with the Andrew W.K. bumpers? Is he the new host or something? Don't get me wrong, he's a great artist and I love his music, but I wouldn't exactly call him kid material. Kids are going to see him on CN, and then, what? Go on iTunes and buy his songs about getting drunk and partying hard?

And don't even get me started on the Reality Shows. BrainRush, Destroy Build Destroy, The Othersiders. First of all, the Othersiders? Are you insane, Cartoon Network? Are you trying to scar kids for life? And by kids, I mean the poor kids that you've captured in your tasteless-cartoon claws. Kids do NOT need to watch that kind of stuff. Leave those types of shows to Sci-Fi network and the Travel Channel.
Second of all, Reality shows? On CARTOON network? What ever happened to the Cartoon part of that title? What, you decided that since nobody likes your attempts at cartoons, that they would want to watch crappy, unoriginal copycat reality shows instead?

I can't even remember how many shows they've attempted to create themselves and failed. Don't they get it? Pretty much nobody likes their new shows. Seriously. And they've tried to buy other shows from Canada, such as 16teen, and the new one by the same creator, Stoked. I know they're trying to get teenage viewers with those shows, but I hope they know that none of my friends even bother watching Cartoon Network anymore. They all know it sucks. In fact, I don't know anyone near my age or younger that watches Cartoon Network.

They don't know what appeals to kids anymore!

And lately I've noticed that they've done some cheap tactics to try and get more ratings. Such as that 'Christmas in July day' they had the last day of July last week when they played all Christmas themed stuff. Then, the Ed Edd n' Eddy marathon, from the golden days of CN. Then, a Teen Titans marathon, which still has a huge fanbase. They've probably realized what a mistake it was to cancel it. What else? Oh yeah, and I think they had a Halloween theme day for no reason a few days ago. I think somehow they know they suck too, and now they're desperate for more viewers.

Truthfully, I'd rather watch Boomerang these days. Cartoon Network has gone past the point of return, and I'm sure it will only be a matter of years before it's gone for lack of viewers.

So, please, I beg of you, don't watch this channel. The majority of the shows now are so unoriginal and such mindless stupidity that you'll feel your brain cells dying. Spare your braincells.

I got cable in late 1999. I also could not wait to see cartoon network. It had, Dexter, Courage the cowardly dog, Ed, Ed, and Eddy and more. I know look at cartoon network and think what the fuck happend. I mean look at the freakin logo. It's terrible. I liked the checkerboard they used to have. Cartoon Network was once a great channel that could appeal to a wide audience. I am thankful that I had my childhood during its golden age. A time when cartoons like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, and latter on Teen Titans, were on. A time when, every Friday, I’d stay up watching the Friday night marathon of cartoons. A time when they had Toonami with all the great shows that appeared on it. It was not only a channel ideal for kids; it even had stuff that adults could like.

Those days have now passed, and the Cartoon Network of today is a weak shadow of its former glory. All its classic quality shows are gone (or shown rarely as reruns). Cartoon Network Fridays is gone. Toonami is gone. In their place is a lineup that is simply unfit for America’s kids.

Other Reasons Cartoon Network is Garbage


1. The commercials are mostly garbage. All commercials are garbage but these are worse

2. The Schedule is random.

3. The shows are no good. Just thought I’d remind you.

How did a network that was so great become garbage? Well, the ruin of Cartoon Network began in 2005 when a lot of the channels great shows had already been axed. The new shows, with some exceptions, became steadily worse and worse. 2008 is probably when the network finally slipped into awfulness. This was also the year when the classic block Toonami, which for years played a multitude of awesome anime shows, was finally cancelled after CN had first strangled the uniqueness and life out of it. Thankfully I had since slipped out of watching it and didn’t have my memories of it tarnished.

This networks fall is a real shame because they were once something special. I grew up on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon (which has also worsened) and it really saddens me to see what these networks have become. If I had kids there’s no way I’d let them watch this stuff. Not only because of a lot of extreme immaturity, but because it’s a lot of it is so stupid. Kids today may be able to enjoy it, but that’s only because they don’t know what quality cartoons are.

This channel does not deserve to be on the air. I cant believe its a part of a paid cable package. I think once a station takes the turn it has taken it should be removed from the line up.

I have 3 kids. 7, 5, and 4. I will not let them watch anything on this "cartoon" network except Star Wars the Clone Wars. The only thing I watch on this station is Venture Brothers. I know. Stupid show but I do find it slightly amusing. The crap they have loaded onto this station is raunchy adult based humor and fart jokes. No where near being fit for a child to watch. Now the so called "reality block" these brilliant execs have come up with give straight proof they should be off the air. Why is it that a station for kids has lost every aspect of what is decent and entertaining to kids?

They have come so far from the days of DBZ, dexter, Power Puff, Superman. Now its Total Drama Island, Chowder, Squidbillys (wtf) Can we say SELL SELL SELL. Just get some compitent actual parents in there to either advise or have some kind of input on what kids are watching. No I dont expect my tv to be a babysitter but come one. Give us parents a break every now and then. Disney channel is too grown up for them. Zack and Cody, Witches of Waverly Place, They have no interest in watching old Home Improvement reruns on nick.

This just forces them to bug me every waking minute of the day.

I really can't believe how far Cartoon Network has fallen. My biggest frustration is with the show "The Misadventures of Flapjack." It's not funny, it's just disturbing. Maybe they were shooting for gross-out humor with the giant disgusting monsters and the discussions of scurvy and disease, but they missed the humor and nailed the gross-out. The character of Captain K'Nuckles epitomizes rudeness, manipulation, lying, cheating, and stealing. What's with Captain K'Nuckles drinking maple syrup too? Seems like a metaphor for alcoholism . . . on a network targeted for kids. Great! The plot line takes way too long to get . . . they're going to Candy Island but only a handful of the episodes are about the actual plot. Seriously, how did this cartoon get approved to be aired!?

My second complaint, live action. It's Cartoon Network . . . not Some Crappy Cartoons and Live Action Filler Network. Destroy Build Destroy, Brain Rush, and The Othersiders, all terrible, none should be on this network. Not a single one is fun, entertaining, or new. I think I'll stick to the originals on Travel, SciFi, Discovery, and TLC. I watch Cartoon Network for cartoons, not horribly executed rip-offs from other networks.

Third: The commercials. Everything from the semi-"digital" characters who lose their colors to colorize the Cartoon Network logo to the nonsensical live-action "Drink Fail, Door Fail" and other nonsense. The people at the network who think this is funny should be fired, then taken by the hand and led out the door by a competent person in an attempt to prevent "Clean our your desk fail, elevator button fail, and leave the building fail." Although they will be allowed to successfully complete "File for unemployment fail."

Finally, anything good Cartoon Network had, they've killed. I loved "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." The characters were dynamic, the situations entertaining, and the humor reached all ages by using everything from slapstick, wit, cynical, dark, and adult jokes. Airing multiple episodes each day and creating special movie versions . . . in my opinion, this was the closest Cartoon Network has ever been to touching Nick's "Spongebob Squarepants." "Dexter's Lab" was another great show with creative episodes including a musical version and a spin off using a superhero "Monkey." I guess Dexter's Lab wasn't exciting and cool enough . . . so it was replaced with Johnny Test. The story of a whiney boy, a talking dog, and two super smart sisters who have a crush on the neighbor. By the way, I just summed up every episode they've aired, so don't waste your time watching it. When Chowder started it looked promising . . . but it's grown stale. Frankly, the characters aren't funny, they're annoying. 6Teen is the story of six 16 year olds, only 1 with work ethic, the rest are dysfunctional in some major way and spend the entire episode complaining about it. Total Drama Island/Action, meh. That's all I can really say about that one. It's okay, but it's nothing special.

I'm not a big anime fan, so I'm not going to comment on those particular shows. From what I've been hearing from those who are anime fans, they aren't happy Cartoon Network canceled successful shows such as Teen Titans (which I'll admit, it was pretty good), and Toonami.

I guess I should be thankful. Now that Cartoon Network's programming is so terrible I've spent more time watching TLC, Discovery, and MSNBC as well as reading the Wallstreet Journal and Business Week. I guess those are better for a 21 year-old business major to be spending his time on than mindless entertainment. That's right, my final claim is that Cartoon Network once had a very diverse audience spanning the ages, now they've alienated their audience to whiney 12-16 year olds with no humor. Good luck with that.

cartoon network is the worst channel in the whole world created for kids. cartoon network is the thing that is giving kids the idea to talk back to their parents, and use words like stupid and shut up and all of those words. i think that cartoon network should be canceled because it is just brainwashing kids everywhere, with all its stupid shows, and characters. i would never let my children watch this channel at all. i know people who have turned out so badly because they have grown up watching the shows on cartoon network and thats what shaped their personality. i think cartoon network was only good with luny toons and scooby doo. but thats pretty much it. cartoon network deserves to be over with its stupid days. brainwashing kids, turing them into bratty little badmouthers and talkbackers.

Cartoon network not only have you managed to come up with some horrible shows, but you have completely stopped showing your good ones that weren't even that old like Fosters Home for imaginary friends almost everyone I know loved that show. instead of showing these sucky shows four times a day how about showing them to a maximum of once a day and make way for some of your older masterpieces like the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy. It made me sad walking into Turner field and looking at the cartoon network wall on the way in and realizing none of these good shows are on anymore. Just because you have a few new shows that aren't even that good that does not mean you should completely ditch the good ones that made cartoon network into a good network but you flushed that down the toilet when you decided to completely stop showing your iconic shows that aren't even all that old.

A lot of the reviews on here are based off of nostalgia for the days of Cartoon Network in the 1990s and early 2000s. I hate to break it to you, but those days are over, I like some of the older Cartoon Network shows too, but not everything back then was great. Cartoon Network aired a lot of horrible Hanna Barbera cartoons in the past.

Anyways, I think this channel is good for the kids with cartoons like Ben 10 Alien Force, Chowder, The Misadventures of Flapjack and many more. I don't watch these shows, but today's kids like them and that's all that matters. I personally watch Adult Swim which has great shows like Robot Chicken, King of the Hill, Family Guy and others.

In the beginning this network has had so my good ratings and good shows like ed,edd and eddy, dexter's labortory, johnny bravo,kids next door, and other classic cartoons.Now everything has plummed down the to the bottom. IT HAD dragonball saga(the greatest action shows in history), YuYuHakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, Zatch Bell, Outlaw Star, the Gundam series, Naruto, Transformers:Armada,Transformers:Cybertron, Transformers:Energon, Blue dragon, Dice, the Zoids series, Yugioh and other good shows. You've turned a masterpiece into a pile of garbage. You even got rid of the toonamijetstream! Why in the world would you get rid of your greatest shows for the crappiest shows?! You could have made a separate network on cable of toonami!The boobobo-bo was the only dumb anime. That show didn't even have a storyline! What kind of anime has no storyline?! They had all of these dumb attacks like super fist of the nose hair or fist of jelly.

Also your in between show themes are seem to be getting worse. The oldest theme was pretty good and so was the cartoon city theme. Now your theme suck. Watching your network now almost like watching dora.
Your adult swim programs are getting worse too. The Mighty Booche, Aqua Teen hunger force, and squidbillies suck, but metaloclyse, boondocks, family guy,and the anime is good.

Your network will soon lose viewer due your crappy shows, so here's a suggestion: GET RID OF THOSE STUPID SHOWS AND TURN EVERYTHING BACK THE WAY IT WAS.

And I seriously think that the fact that there is nothing good to watch is why my brain is not working normally.

Why did they have to take the cartoon and toomani.

Cartoon Network used to be one of my favorite things in the world. Now it's just turned into crap, with Total Drama Island and Ben 10 and the Clone Wars thing. Whatever happened to Ed Edd and Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, or any of those old classics? Those were my favorite shows when I was a little kid.
Now they just show crap. What the hell happened? I really miss those old shows. They really need to start changing their content, or I have this feeling that they're really going to drop viewers

OK i must admit that some of the shows are funny. BUT IN A STUPID WAY.these new shows like total drama island and stuff are like the most watched shows cartoon network has ever had, but i really miss shows like Ed Edd n Eddy because they made cense (DID I SPEL LTHAT RIGHT?). and the worst part about these new shows like clone wars and 6teen and tdi are the ratings!!! before every show or after a commercial this gay blue or green screen with a rating PG or higher will appear like 6tee n will say THIS PROGRAM IS RATED TV-PG-D PARENTAL GUIDANCE IS SUGGESTED. it shopuld be rated TV-Y people TV-Y...

i never want to hear chop socky chooks flapjack transformers animated series chowder secret saturdays or star wars clone wars ever ever ever again. do teen titans and kids next door, static shock, ed edd n eddy those shows were cool. i would give 5 stars if they changed cartoon network back to the way it was in 2005 and below. cartoon network is going down a dark path, its getting stupider every year. might as well change the name to stupid shows network. chowder, flapjack wtf

In all my years of watching CN, I've never seen such a great network go down the crapper. If it wasn't for Adult swim and a few choice of cartoons on this network, this would've been 1 star. Let's go down a line up and chat a bit about some of these shows and the old shows:

-Ed, Edd n Eddy: This was a great show until the creator stopped (for whatever reason.) I liked the idea of 3 kids in the suburbs and then later on having them go to school. Would like this show back.
-Johnny Bravo: This show just made me laugh because the character was such a jerk lol. That little girl scream was funny. Would like this show back.
-Time Squad: I'm amazed no one mentioned this show. This was hilarious. Can anyone imagine if time could screw up? Would like this show back.
-Foster's Home: Not really a big fan of this to be honest. Definitely gets very stupid after awhile. I can live without this show.
-Flapjack: WOW! Please remove this show. Words cannot describe the stupidity of this show.
-Chowder: Eh....Can't really decide whether or not to remove it. I could probably live without this show.
-Mucha Lucha: Refer to my flapjack comment. Actually the show is dumber than Flapjack.
-Ben 10: This show I actually liked. The theme song not too much really, but it was a cool plot. I didn't like how they jumped into the alien force series so quickly though.
-Skunk Fu: Yeah....I can live without this show by far.
-Camp Lazlo: Yeah another stupid cartoon that needs to go immediately. I'm disappointed by the creators of Rocko's Modern Life.
-Puffy AmiYumi: I'm glad this show is gone. Waste of space.
-Bobobo: Also glad this show is gone as well. Going to strangle you with my nose hairs. Come on....
-Billy and Mandy: This show is OKAY. Not amazing, but not bad. This show could stay.
-Juniper Lee: I actually thought this show wasn't bad. I wonder what happened to it.
-Teen Titans: AWESOME! Need I say more?
-One Piece: I actually liked this anime. It was funny and pirates are kind of cool.
-YuYu Hakasho: Refer to the Teen Titans comment, only times that by 10.
-Scooby Doo: Please go away. This show has been around since like the 1950s. It's time for you to leave. The only reason I would watch this show would be for the sarcasm of Shaggy.
-Codename: KND: I could live without this show, but if it had stayed I wouldn't mind too much.
-Total Drama Island: This show actually made me laugh. And it's definitely better than actually real life reality shows, that's for damn sure.
-Toonami: Was good when Moltar was doing it with Thundercats and DBZ. There were mostly good shows on it, until now that is.

If I missed any shows it's probably because they weren't worth mentioning or I just flat out forgot them.

What has happened to your show line up?  Do you need me to send you my allowance each week so you can order some good shows?  The line up now if terrible.  Saturday nights except for Naruto is the worse.  We are BATMAN'ed to death.  You show one, and two weeks later, you repeat it.  We hate Chower, Flapjack and Courage the Cowardly Dog.  Plus all the different BATMAN versions.  Please bring back Toonami and all the good Anime shows. Please. I still miss GOKU.  I loved Bleach, Fullmetal Alchamist, and so many others.  I loved the Anime shows.  I hate this seasons show.  Thank goodness for Disney and Fox Kids and CW KIds on Saturdays.  Where did Transformers go?
This is Cartoon Network.  For years you were the greatest, now the new shows stink.  Please get rid of the Saturday night line up with the exception of Naurto and give us back cartoons that our parents will let us watch.  Remember, we can stay up later on Saturday nights, but we are very tired of BATMAN reruns.
Anime Fan

Cartoon network used to be the best thing ever, but now it sucks horribly. The shows used to be all cartoons that where very well made, not teenagerish (not based on teenage characters lives), and just was overall great. But it started to slip when Cartoon network started Fridays, a friday night only section on the channel that aired new cartoon episodes and was hosted by acual people. But it was still good back then, because the hosts where good. However, a surge of new shows occured, with most of them being either ok, or pretty bad. Things only got worst when older, much better shows started to see limited show time. Cartoon network slowly progressed to evilness over the course of 3-4 years. But when Cartoon network realesed its first not completely animated show, that is when Cartoon network was lost. The cancelation of Dexters labratory, PowerPuff Girls, and those other great "oldies", pushed CN to the brink of darkness. After fridays was cancelled, It only got worse. The only continually shown non animated show so far, which was very bad, a new era of mediocre shows, and the end of the golden ages of my times (im 13, so that was 3 years ago at least), bad it as worst as CN could get, or so it seemed. Now, even the mediocre shows of the year past far surpass the usual ones today. The feeble attempt to bring CN back to greatness, with the return of Courage the cowerdly dog, was a lame attempt, but is still welcomed. Cartoon network has now morphed into crap network, literally. CN has turned its views to a more teenage audiance seemingly with shows like TDI and 6teen, both more based on real life drama(MTV stuff) than its usual, which is such a bad decidsion because i know personally that virtually no teenagers watch CN and most kids do not enjoy such programming. The only decent show left is Chowder, which is only ok, Flapjack just plain sucks. To spare time and my fingers, i will not even START on adult swim and the late Tonammi(:*(  )

For this channel, I mainly only watch anime and aduit swim. The new Pokemon series is good, and Naruto is awesome. They still show some of the classics like tom & jerry, scooby-doo and billy & mandy. Most of the new shows don't live up to the originals, they're more for the kids in todays era, and those who grew up with the originals will find these new shows hum-drum and tacky. They took of most of the shows that were lacking to begin with that premiered in 2004 to 2006 and I got upset when toonami had said farewell for good. I mainly watch aduit swim because it rocks and it's when they show their best stuff on the weekends.

  Cartoon network is the place to go for the unusual, action adventure, and old school Marvel cartoons. This is a great network for those that like Marvel and for boys. It gets past the ooey gooey you get with other networks and gives that extra action sometimes you need in a cartoon.  Need to see what shows they have go here:

yes, it wasn't what it used to be, but there are a few good shows, still on cartoon network. I am goin to list my favorite shows on that very channel. Chowder, Ben ten, Ben ten alien force, tom and Jerry, Inuyasha, i hate the other adult swm cartoons, but Family guy is a good show at times, but not always. I think Chowder is a good show for kids, also Ben ten alien force, because it has the main character dealing with being a teenager. Now I watch Total Drama Island sometimes, but at times i think they should put it on adult swim, because it is rated pg and has guys get hit in the balls, and they talk about bras and other crap. But still Cartoon Network has its bad points and good points.  I miss Dragon Ball Z.  Also I miss the good Pokemon Episodes. when it was season 1, the orange islands series, and the Johto series, as soon as the Hoenn series arrived, pokemon, and the movies have gone down hill. My favorite pokemon movies are. Pokemon the first movie, Pokemon the movie 2000, Pokemon heroes the movie, and the last great pokemon movie with the original voices is Pokemon: Lucario and the mystery of mew.

It just isn't what it used to be. Many of the cartoons they show now, just don't have same flare like they did almost a decade ago. Toonami was great when it still aired in the afternoon. They had some great anime during this time, edited or not. Now Toonami is practically non-existent. Adult Swim has really gone downhill as well. I don't know what they were thinking with shows like Squidbillies and such.

Cartoon Network has really changed for the worse over the last five years. They do air a few decent shows, but the majority of the shows seem weak compared to previous shows. They lost their contract to air Futurama, which IMO, was their best show by far! I also really miss the old cartoons they used to play, like Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, etc.
