Typically home to some of the more obscure sports. Can be eventful from time to time.

Good niche channel. The ESPN stable of channels really has enriched our lives with the sports coverages. (This assumes that you like sports, dear reader!)

Anything sports is great!

ESPN2 is great. The more sports options, the better for me. It allows ESPN to show more baseball, college football and baksetball, and then also broadcast sports that have less of a following like lacrosse, soccer, and hockey...Well it would show hockey if the league wasn't disbanding.

For Bob Davie and Associate-Regarding your comments re to Dr. Chop #87 for Purdue v. Wisc. This was a cut block which is 100% legal. I believe you owe Charles Davis an apology. Disgraceful commentary! Jerry J.

Although like their sister station, they still show too much Poker and too many sports talk shows, they at least show more intersting sports! They show Table Tennis, Soccer, Swimming, Gymnastics, Figure Skating, Women's Basketball and other great sports. They also show less popular teams in more popular sports and are great for Olympic-style whiparound coverage.

They show sports that not particularly mainstream which is fine if your a skater or a biker punk, which I'm not so I don't particularly watch it.

A little too heavy on the x-games, lumberjacking, cheerleading, high school spelling bee stuff, but they have a good program every once in a while. My main problem is the fact that they shove the sports I like to watch (mainly tennis) back into the wee hours, as if it's not important enough to show before then. I've been enjoying their coverage of this year's Australian Open, but, as usual, you can't see very many of the players because they are too fixated on the Williams sisters or the old, tired Andre Agassi. Most of the matches concerning those players are downright boring, and yet they insist on showing just about every single minute of them. Another problem I have with their tennis coverage is the fact that they let Patrick McEnroe call these matches, and they don't need him in the least. They already have the two best tennis analysts around--Cliff Drysdale and the wonderful Mary Carillo. They are both vastly more knowledgeable about the game than McEnroe, and they are by far more entertaining to listen to, but guess who does most of the talking? Patrick McEnroe, of course. Big mouths must run in his family, because his brother had a big mouth, and this one won't shuttup either. He embarasses himself by going on about how wonderful the young American players are, and they have never won anything of consequence. One can only assume he is trying to suck up to them so he can recruit them to play Davis Cup for him, since he is captain of that team. Which brings me to my next point--he would have never got that job if his brother wasn't the "great" John McEnroe. I put that in quotations because I'm being sarcastic. Anyway, ESPN should dump him as an analyst and go with Carillo and Drysdale only.

Just a place for reject ESPN shows now. The Deuce used to be awesome, back when they had separate graphics (all lowercase letters-tight!) and separate programming than the main ESPN. But that was back when SportsCenter's set didn't resemble some kind of spaceship, too! Those were the days...

I like this one better because ESPN2 doesn't focus only only baseball and basketball, ESPN2 does golf, bowling, pool, fishing, and even air hockey!

I like this channel because it has soccer, and not a lot of the stations have soccer. But it could have more soccer.

ESPN 2 is like a good referee - you only appreciate it if you don't have it.
