 | GenghisTheHun (177) 08/17/2005 | It's gone downhill. It used to show most of the Cubs games--now maybe a third. The junk at night is mostly something to avoid.

 | midwesterner19 (0) 02/04/2005 | Yes, the programs at prime-time are old because the network cant air WB programs because of your local stations. However, WGN-TV despite the fact I am not from Chicago nor live in Chicago is an excellent newscast. I personally thing that WGN-TV has an excellent newscast and its weather with Tom Skilling is the best I have ever seen. Tom Skilling is a wonderful meteorologist. Only KUSA-9NEWS in Denver has as good of a newscast as WGN

 | Mario500 (0) 06/11/2004 | Many moons ago, WGN-TV9 (World's Greatest Newspaper) became our place for everything Chicago, from the news to Cubs/Bulls games and lets not forget Bozo the Clown. along with other varieties of entertainment that made the station live up to the Entertaining America slogan, which would debut many years later. Yet again, WGN became a network affiliate, namely the Warner Bros. Network (WB). It may have been okay at first, but later on WGN was becoming less a superstion and more cable channel-like. Nowadays on WGN (or Superstation WGN), the WB Network is not available to those outside Chicago and most programming is something you would find on your local station. Thank goodness the 12 PM and 9 PM WGN newscasts still remain for the rest of us or they may have to change their superstation name to Chicago 9 or something similar (not likely, since the station is owned by the Tribune). Besides the news there are still other programs worth watching, reruns of The Rockford Files, Matlock, and The Beverly Hillbillies.

 | 1JohnDoeFan (5) 12/10/2003 | I had to give this five stars because THE CUBBIES are awesome!!! Chip Carey is the best commentator around and Steve Stone is the best color commentator around.

 | LoneUSFullHouseFan (3) 12/01/2001 | Just like its sister station TBS, classic 1980s movies and reruns of Full House. I don't think I need to say more.
