Too much interior decorating crap! When this channel was good, i should of taped the House Doctor reruns. You will never know when those tips from Ron Hazelton can be usefull. I learned alot from watching that show.

I 100% totally agree with AvalonMan96. Southern California and NYC are great places, but it's time there was more America in American tv.

Too many shows done in California, no thanks. Hello, not everybody lives there, there are other parts of the country, you know!

I can only watch shows like If Walls Could Talk and Restore America The rest is made for California yuppies, seriously, every other landscaping and home makover show, are all about either about southern california yuppie couples, or northern california gay couples, it gets really old after a while!!!!!

It's starting to make too many Trading Spaces clones.

Delivers exactly what it promises. (Jason1972: I'm betting you're not a homeowner...I'm still laughing over that comment!) I can always find something useful on this station. Great reading of a truly niche audience.

If I was strapped to a chair in front of a TV and this channel was showing, I would have to hold my breath til I keel over and die.

I like "Sensible Chic" because it shows you how to create a classy room for a small budget, "room by Room" is great - very practical tips, and "Designing for the Sexes" is good. I don't like the gardening shows, but that's just personal taste.

It's ok when they have an occassional cooking show, or sometimes, now very rarely Martha Stewart has something special cooked up for thanksgiving, christmas, and halloween.

I love this channel, but my cable company doesn't carry it. Whenever I'm at my parents' house, I try to watch it, but they don't like it. I usually end up inspired by the small amounts of programs I manage to squeeze in between John Wayne movies and police chase shows.

They have many great programs on HGTV. My favorites are Fantasy Open House, Appraise It!, Appraisal Fair, Collectible Treasures, At The Auction and some of the great specials. They don't have many new garden shows anymore for some reason. I wish they would put more gardening shows on, my only complaint.
