Will NOT watch it, Katie Couric is nothing but a gummy smiling entertainment reporter, she is horrible & forced in her delivery, and I have not watched CBS since she came on, I switched to ABC and that is where I will stay until Couric is back covering petty entertainment type stories again, which I won't watch her then either!

Dan Rather had the balls to call it like it was and, if necessary, get under the skin of a would-be sacred cow like President Bush I. He won't be missed by conservatives, but he will by Americans who want to know what the hell their government is doing...

It is weak for three reasons: 1) It is only a half hour of news. 2) It's one way communication of news and not interactive. 3) You can't choose which story you want to follow as with any tv news.

Although i support John Kerry, and even though George Bush has already been re elected. I have to say, that i am not pleased with the bias opinion, what do you want to be the fox news of kerry? Dan rather, wether or not the papers were fake, which god only knows, you made kerry supporters look bad!!!

On Rathergate -- I want an FCC investigation on any potential illegality here. Who cares about Janet Jackson's breast baring? I do care about getting to the bottom of a major tv network's plot to infuence a presidential election!

After memogate, I'd Rather not watch CBS.

The CBS Evening News has provided the most thorough coverage of the war in Iraq and hasn't pandered to the Bush administration like much of the rest of the media has. Dan Rather is much better than Tom Brokaw.

Luckily i have a remote i play cbs and abc back and forth to whom has the best coverage on a paticular subject Dan is a top professional i must say cbs useally gets the nod.

I would much rather watch Dan Rather than Jennings or Brokaw. He is less dramatic and gives more news. The other two are just boring as all get out.

Two words say it all: "Rather Biased".

In our house we don't use the "S" word, but I'll use it here to describe CBS News...It SUCKS! How in the world did Dan Rather make it to anchor a network? Regardless of politics, this guys terrible as a reporter. Take away his teleprompter and he's toast.

Your completely biased reporting is unmatched. After seeing Dan Rather election night and a few other times, I will never watch CBS news again. It is heartening to know there are hundreds of thousands of people who agree.
