12/05/2001 | CHICK FLICK!!! CHICK FLICK!!! My GOD I have never seen a movie stop a woman dead in her tracks like when this damned movie is on! This and "Beaches" and "Gone With The Wind." Wow! The tunes are passable, but God, Jennifer Gray must hate having this turkey on her resume. Come on folks, such witty dialogue as, "Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner..." Sucks! Sucks! Sucks!

02/22/2001 | I was 15 years old when this movie came out, and I was so in love with Patrick Swayze!! I loved the movie, and the soundtrack... Until my P.E. Teacher played songs from the soundtrack over and over again until all of our ears bled! LOL!
It took me years to listen to it again, I think though I love watching the movie and hearing the songs there, then just plain old listening to the soundtrack. It's still fun though, reminds me of my teens.

11/07/2000 | This is another must have for every correction. The music is very musical type (figuring that it's from a musical makes that prett obvious), so harmonies and choruses are very common. So if you love Grease, you'll love the soundtrack.

05/30/2000 | OK, you have to be a little Swazey-crazy to go out and purchase the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, but the film had some good songs. Otis Redding's "Love Man" is a fave of mine (I dont know if it made the soundtrack album though; perhaps all you get is "Time of My Life" and similar dreck...).
