Good for a modern strip, which isn't really high praise. In the context of comic strip history, it is little better than adequate; sort of a slightly higher-browed Garfield.

In general, well worth a read, but at times the humor is a bit dark or corny.

i think it has become more skeptical and a little cruder than it was; but Satchel is the philosopher of my dreams.

Simple, just the way I'd imagine cats and dogs, were they able to talk. Bucky is so damn clever and Satchel is the chase your tale naïve.

This is a good strip. My favorite character is Satchel because he is so unaware of things.

Very funny. The art is very good and fits the subject perfectly. I really respect the fact that it messes with the format a bit. Usually there are several punchlines and sometimes it even comes in the first panel. There are even some where the simple weirdness of the whole strip is what's funny.

Along with Pibby, my must see on a daily basis. Used to have 3 Siamese cats so absolutely adore Bucky Katt! (Although he is an abolute horror!)

Love Bucky!!! He is true to himself whether or not that is politically correct. The world needs more gusto like that!

I love this cartoon. I think Buckey is funny, and the way he expresses his views is priceless.

I'm only 12 but I think that Get Fuzzy gets the humor out of all the boring political things out there. Also it's so funny because the things they joke about that have to do with current events are SO true! Bucky's sarcasm and gullible Satchels thoughts are always fun to read. Darb Conely did a wonderful job describing how cats act. Bucky is who I think my cat would be like if he could talk.

This is the most ultimate comic of all time. It is so smart. You can just feel the writers intelligence vibrating through the awsome characters. I was reading the ratings and I am so surprised at the bad ones. I think those people might just be a little dry, old or too small mminded to understand. I'll give it a "good" because it's up and coming, a breath of fresh air. A wisecracking cat, a dumb dog and their male owner. Yeah, THAT'S never been done.

usually funny...I like the wierd humor, but the writer is making a big mestake in only developing the charachter bucky, someone no one can identify with the way they can with satchel and rob

It's the most refreshing comic to come along in generations. Top marks for artistry, inventiveness, and above all, creating characters with some real substance - and that's not easy when two of the main ones are a cat and dog. Bucky left Garfield in his wake from the first day of publication.

This Strip is very clever. It has a wry sort of "Bugger off" sense of humour aimed at, well, pretty much everything about owning a pet. Especially if they..uh...talk...well, you understand...

I don't exactly know why I love the comic, but Lord knows I read it every day. It is really well drawn and the punch lines are often verbose and droll, but ain't that great!
