 | lukskywlkr. (3) 01/02/2003 | The butchering of Dolly Parton's beautiful song can never be forgiven. Whitney Houston's bombastic, overblown version of a country classic is a travesty. People have been hanged for lesser things. I also heard that it was Kevin Costner's idea for her to record it, so now I don't like him either.

 | jjackson2 (0) 10/31/2000 | I love this soundtrack. I think this is one of the greatest soundtracks of all time because of the brilliant songwriting and beautiful singing. I especially enjoy the song by Whitney Houston, "I Will Always Love You." because it means no matter where a person is, someone who loves that person will always be in the other person's heart. I love this soundtrack because it makes me think of my loved ones.

 | Ruby (15) 05/30/2000 | I'll never forgive Whitney Houston for kicking the crap out of what was, in the hands of Dolly Parton, one of the all-time most touching songs, "I Will Always Love You." Whitney takes all of Dolly's heart of out of it, and slams it home like its a gymnastics routine -- entirely missing the point. Awful.
