02/01/2006 | I love the theme song from this movie. When I had it on a CD, I used to listen to it over and over again, because the music was so peaceful. Then you have the huge climactic part at the end, which makes you feel really good.

02/01/2003 | A great eclectic varation of oldies and classic rock blended wonderfully in this double disc album. Where can you find a compilation CD with "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Rebel Rouser" all in one project.

11/29/2001 | The 90's version of "The Big Chill." A fabulous soundtrack with great songs playing perfectly on the screen to their chosen scenes. You almost want to get up and dance with Tom Hanks and Robin Wright during "Sweet Home Alabama." Great selections!

02/24/2001 | Okay so my last comments weren't very helpful, so I'll try and be specific. The Forrest Gump soundtrack is one in a million, it's rare when soundtracks are good from start to finish, this one achieves not only songs that generate enjoyment, reflection on years gone by, and the pleasure of music. If you like the music of years gone by, then I recommend that you pick up a copy.

11/10/2000 | For the true rock and roll lovers, it's perfect. Everything from Elvis to Jefferson Airplane. It's a good, solid rock and roll CD with enough variety to satisfy you for hours. Not to mention it's a double CD just loaded with hard to find classics.

11/08/2000 | All the music was one of a period of time. You can flashback to the 60s, 70s, and 80s and you love it. Songs like "War" and "California Dreaming" are my favorite.

10/19/2000 | This soundtrack has everything you could want involving the hit songs from the 60's. The two CD set has one after another great songs from that time period. The soundtrack really tells a story about our country during the 1960's, from Vietnam to the hippies in Golden Gate Park. Five stars!

10/10/2000 | I'm not a fan of music from the 60's and 70's, but I still like the soundtrack. If you do like such music, it's a must. The double-CD soundtrack has all the oldies that have been known to almost everyone from 8-80. Worth spending the money to add to your music collection.
