02/10/2003 | This is actually a really good soundtrack. I am usually not THAT impressed with Disney soundtracks (not that they aren't good music, just not my style), however this is my favorite. It helps that I love Elton John, but the songs themselves are quite good.

11/30/2002 | Other than some of the more dramatic numbers, the Lion King CD is a childish, silly (and at times disturbing) CD. Confusing lyrics and strange vocals make this CD is a good project to figure out what kind of point it's trying to make.

11/29/2001 | I laughed, I cried, I cried some more, I creid even more. What an emotional show! I started crying at the very beginning during "Circle Of Life," cried again when the father died, again during "Can You Feel The Love Tonight", and again at the end. Such an emotional show. But I'll tell you what, I loved it!

10/04/2000 | Absolutely my most favorite CD and soundtrack of all time! My sister and I have listened to it time and time again. Elton John is a genius. The soundtrack really creates the atmosphere of the movie as Disney does a great job.

10/03/2000 | I believe Elton John wrote many of the songs on this soundtrack (like The Circle of Life). Those songs were great. I would give this a "5" if Disney didn't have any other cartoon soundtracks to compare it to. But that's not the case. Next to the classics like "Beauty & the Beast" and "Aladdin", I can only give this a "4".
