Howard's show wasn't cancelled, he left for a different show on satellite radio. All those who despise Howard have never been forced to listen and be offended, so what's the problem? For the most part he was entertaining and never dull.

Howard can do a good interview if he wants to. Don't base every thing on the TV show the radio show is much better and funnier in my opinion. You get the best of the worst, if you know what I mean, on the TV show. He's not afraid to ask any question and he does it with humor, some times he goes a little to far but I think most of his critics have never listened to a complete show.

He's Intelligent & insightful & yes there is bathroom humor involved with his show (big deal). He doesn't make anyone do anything they don't want to do & doesn't degrade anyone who isn't willing to place themselves in certain situations. He's non-homophobic & has a live & let live attitude towards people & their lifestyles as long as they are not hurting anyone. He's a good interviewer & asks questions that people would like to know the answers to. Not hackneyed, sugar-coated, butt kissing questions. He's a good father & his radio image is a persona not necessarily portraying every aspect of the whole man. People who criticize him the most are the ones who don't listen to him, therefore they're not informed enough to give a fair critique.

A couple of years ago the rating would have been 5 stars, but lately there are so many commercials I don't really listen anymore. If people knew how many things on TV today were started by Howard they would be shocked. A true innovator in a time of media re-cycling!

I agree with the others who gave him high ratings. The people (probably out of touch women) who call him scum etc. probably have never listened to his show. They base their thoughts on what they hear others say..others who are also out of touch and don't listen to his show.

Absolutely the funniest person on mainstream media today. His wit and timing are unmatched. The fact that he delivers side-splitting humor 5 days a week puts him in a class all his own. The news segment with Robin Quivers is probably the best part of his show. You people that get offended at his antics either haven't heard his show long enough to get it, or have some hang-up that won't allow you to see the humor he's pointing out. I will admit he is sometimes tasteless and does cross the line sometimes, but all in all he is the funniest man going and I look forward to his show every day.

I never seem to make it through more than a few minutes before turning this off. I do not find him amusing from what I have seen he can be cruel and vulgar. Not the kind of show I like to watch. He seems to like to taunt his guests.and get them to do things I would not like to see.

I am 58 years old, and have listened to Stern for 15 years. And, unless you listen to him every day, you'll never understand what he's really about. Yes, some of his shows are stinky, and I will turn him off ... sometimes. However, he's a good father to his kids, and unlike most famous personalities, you never, ever, ever hear anything bad about this man. If you don't listen to him every day, you'll never get him. Too bad!!
