It's not that he's awful or anything, he's just not that good.

Children should be seen and not heard.

It is corny and saccharine, bit it sends out a good message. Very overrated. Just because he's a kid with a high voice does not mean it sould be #4. Good song though.

My opinion about Billy Gilman and his music is he's very mediocre. The songs are only okay and I think he's highly overrated.

Okay, I thought this was a a beautiful song. I can not belive that someone would rate this song a one. It is one of the best song's, in my opinion ever written.

only gets another star for the amazing vocals...the song is awfully preachy and corny. Listen to billy's rendition of 'till i can make it on my own' if you want him at his best...does it better than anyone else in my opinion.

Billy has the greatest voice out there. He can belt and hit high notes. He is what I called One Voice. A voice that flows slowly through the river. What an incredible voice he has! Plus, very sweet and cute!

Beautiful. Exceptional writing and producing. Perhaps the lyrics are a bit saccharine but so what. This kid's got a rare gift and his child's voice complements the piece perfectly (oughta... seeing it was written for him.) And the turn with violins to the A7 chord (it comes on a million words). If that doesn't move you, get a hearing aid or call the undertaker - you're either deaf or dead. A great song.

Gilman is a very inspirational artist, espescially to me as a teenager, as he has proven that dreams can indeed come true. "One Voice" was an awesome depiction of modern society and the everyday miracles that come in forms unknown to us. "Oklahoma" was also a very good song. Even people I know who don't listen to country music normally bought this album. I'm waiting for his next album! God bless you Billy!

Don't waste your time with this one. Judging by the high rating this one still has, I'm guessing that it's mostly dumb, teenage girls who are responsible.

I think that not only is Billy immensely enjoyable to listen to (I'm a professiol 30 something mother with teens and preteens) but he's also a lot of fun to watch on TV. My 9 and 11 year old daughters like to listen to him but so does my 14 year old son and myself. His O Holy Night was the BEST I have EVER heard. I hope he keep cultivating his voice and only do that because he enjoys it.

It's wonderful that a child has so much campasion for the world at such a young age. If every child had his outlook on life I would feel a lot comfortable bring my children into this world. Billy you are doing great keep writing songs, you have an amazing voice.

My cousin sung this song at my church and it touched me. I even got a copy of the music and I keep it on my piano stand.

Billy is so awesome!!!!! I had only heard one of his songs(one disney channel), and I went out and bought his cd. And I loved it!!!!! Now I just have to get my friends to like his music(and think he is soooo cute) as much as I do.

Every child has a dream, some pretend they are doctors, others pretend they are the patient, others don't really have many dreams at all, and some just want to live without fear, Billy Gilman is a child with hopes and dreams, I think he sees that his dreams are coming true, I want to say that the song "One voice" is very inspiring and that maybe our children today will see that you dont have to wait until you grow up to be famous, as long as you have imagination, love, support, and the effort to put into what you want to do, you may always fulfil your destination

I think that this kid some great talent. I recently got his One voice cd and its great. The song that is the best next to One voice would be Oklahoma. He looks different in all the positions he poses in when they took his pictures maybe younger. Does anybody agree?

I have two little girls, Sandra-7 & Kayla-6. They both just love this music and Billy is (in their words) sooo cool. I like the music as well, its right on with the terrible things that children are involved in, and I wish this world was a lot safer for everyone's children.

Billy Gillman is a great singer at his age. I don't like his CD much though because all of his songs sound the same with that high pitched voice. Is he gonna last when puberty kicks in? Hopefully his voice will change for the better.

I'd been radio-deprived for three long months, until finally one Sunday I had access. (Sad, I know, pathetic) I was in luck, just tuning in, in time to hear the announcement of the top ten, 12 year old Billy Gilman and his girly, sickeningly sweet soprano had come out ahead of good old George. Ouch. Sorry, but I want to know what we'll be hearing more of in a couple years, the static from my old stereo, or the crackling of child star turned man, turned career off the records.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing songs about get your guns bam,bam,bam. and she's cheating on me, or kiss me here and there type of garbage!!! I hardly ever listen to country music just rap music. When I heard people talking about Billy Gilman (One Voice) I thought I'll try listening just once to the song. I loved it instantly. His music is just so refreshing. His song gives a good message. After hearing this song on CMT I immediately went to a record store and bought his CD One Voice and Classic Christmas. Go on Billy!!! I can't wait until your next CD!!! Billy Gilman, simply put, is THE BEST! He far excceeds The Moffatts & Hanson. His voice is quite frankly the best voice for a 12-year old ever discovered. "One Voice" and "Oklahoma" are beautiful videos and songs. "Oklahoma" is an award-calibre video. It reminds me of the ending to the movie, "The Color Purple." I especially love "One Voice" a timely, touching allegory against hand-gun violence. Have you noticed we haven't had school shootings since the song was released? Kids will listen! and when another kid is doing the speaking...(or in this case, the singing) they'll listen even more. Billy is so special because of his age. How many C&W singers out there are 12 years old? I just hope as he grows, the novelty of his age won't wear off. He is a dedicated young man to his craft, so please leave him alone if you don't care for his music. Billy, keep up the great work. My niece can't get enough of you! One side note: His song, "Oklahoma" is #1 on the country charts: & the #1 college football team on the AP poll is: ...OKLAHOMA! cool, huh?

We love one voice, my 15 year daughter Rebecca was killed in a farm accident this August, we found in her purse, "My favorite sone is ONE VOICE, every time we were in the truck she would say turn the radio up its my song. She would say I hope the song reachs someone.Over 1000 people at her funeral,everyone said she touched everyones life by living and loving this song. She was active in 4H and FFA, president of 4 clubs and Vice Pres. of the Arkansas Shorthorn Assoc. her voice was heard. "One Voice" has so much meaning. Even though Billy wanted to base it on the number of school shootings and such, in the "One Voice" video, it was so much more. It had scenes of a couple fighting, and scenes of a child being bullied by others. It made me cry when I saw it. It's just too bad that everyone isn't like Billy, who wanted to acheive peace by doing his video. "One Dream can Change the World." That's one of the lines in "One Voice." Never have words been so true. Good job Billy, Keep it Up!

Billy has a really nice voice, and is so sincere in his singing. I am NOT a country music fan, but me and my 7 year old son really like his music, and his One Voice.

This is the first song that I actually had a tear come to my eye.His voice,the lyrics,the fact that he is a child,just all fit together to touch my heart;a feeling I haven't had in a long time-thank you Billy :)

This song stopped me in my tracks. This kid has a very powerful and enjoyable voice. The message in the song is wonderful as well. I have never been a fan of country music, but went out and purchased the CD. The entire CD is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone!

He has a terrific voice. My granddaughter needs a Fan Mail address if there is one. She doesn't have a computer yet. She is crazy about him and she is only 7. Keep singing Billy.

I think Billy Gilman is the coolest. He has the most angelic voice that every song he sings lingers in your mind. One Voice was beautifully written. It makes you think about all the problems today and all the problems in your own life. The CD was superbly put together. I laughed at the Snake Song, cried at One Voice and Oklahoma, and can't help but sing along with Little Things, I Think She Likes Me, and Little Bitty Pretty One. Not to mention the fact that he is the cutest thing on two feet.I LOVE U BILLY!!!!

As a young girl of 13 years old, I love Billy Gilman. When I have a "crush" on a singer people are like "Yea, he's 10 years older than you!" and it really sucks. But then Billy came along and I fell in love. I only listen to 2 CDs,One Voice and Billy Gilmans Classic Christmas! I LOVE YOU BILLY!!!!!(And hes so cute too!!!)

One Voice was heard and that's Billy Gilman's. I am listening to the cd even as I type. People who say he is no good must not know how much young vocal talent is out there and that he came this far is all the praise he needs. A beautiful voice that can make this man "misty" KEEP EM COMIN BILLY!

The first time I ever saw Billy Gillman was when I was sitting in a restaurant that had CMT on. They were doing a segment on young talent, and I saw the usual young girls on. While it was impressive, it was really nothing new. Suddenly Billy came on with his song "One Voice", and I had to stop and listen. I was amazed that this young child could sing like that. It's more of a rarity for a young boy to become a singer these days than it is for a young girl. I was very impressed. For those of you who say that this boy has no talent and sings too high and whiney... shame on you!! For his age, of course his voice isn't fully deveoped yet, however... he shows extreme talent and tenacity being able to do what he does so well. Many others his age can't follow a tune long enough to complete an entire song. As for hoping he improves with age (as others have also said), I sure hope he does... when his voice changes, as inevitably it will do... I hope for his sake, that his voice only gets better and proves to all of you skeptics that talent comes from within.

I have never really been a country music lover, however, my boyfriend listens to only country music. Thus, I have been "forced" to listen to it as well... I would never admit it to him but I really love some of the newer country music that is out today. When I first saw Billy Gilman's "One Voice" video on tv I cried... tonight I saw "Oklahoma"... and again I cried... this boy is amazing! Just before the end of October, when I watched Billy Gilman's "Oklahoma" video, I was instantly one of his new fans. Billy is an awesome singer that sings about issues and situations that can still be turned around for the better. Billy is a 12 year old country musician which people of all ages and from all walks of life can enjoy!! Gilman is someone who greatly respects himself and other people. God has really blessed this 7th grader with the gifts of music. Also, God uses Billy to touch people's hearts. Gilman is a priceless gift from God, not a teen idol.
