Good voice, But the vid AND the song makes me want to Ralph.

The song sucks the video sucks and so does she. Talk about a one hit wonder. Nothing special in a chourus of female singers!

Prince is notorious for writing songs that are better done by female singers. This song is one of them. When I heard Prince sing this song, it just didn't sound right to me because I had heard the version of Sinead first,and his second. When he gave the song to Sinead O'Connor, she turned it into something so much better. This song was totally meant for her to sing, and Prince knew that....

Sinead O' Connor is a genius singer. She sings with amazing vocal range and ability. In this video, It's kind of like walking through an old Irish garden in the midst of a fog. Very serene. Very beautiful. Sinead looks amazingly peaceful and you feel relaxed just watching her.

This may have been an "innovative" video, but there wasn't much substance to it. It seemed almost as if it were trying too hard to be 'artsy'. It was simple and new, but to me it seemed like there was a pretty good reason why it wasn't done before. I have to give her a little credit for trying, though. This video seemed to influence later videos (Alanis Morrisette's "Head over Feet"), so obviously SOMEONE out there liked it. To me, though, it's nothing too special.

This video is good because of it's originality. Most videos today all involve the same motifs. Lots of flashy cars, hot girls, and dancing. This video steered clear of those common themes and went for something different. Also I can't think of any other concepts to fit the song. The only reason some people might not appreciate it, is due to shallowness and lack of artistic appreciation.

Very good music video, at times the setting can get depressing, or boring, but it's very good otherwise.

Terrible close ups of this ugly girl's bald head. There is no action in the video, just boring close up. If there is going to be a close up at least the girls should be hot.

This is one of the best films of all time. I know some small minded, overly pop cultured might find it annoying. But, that's only because they watched it too many times! This thing had quality and class!
