 | Limpin' Trenchfoot (16) 06/05/2006 | Definitely a top 5 techno/electronica album, right up with Orbital's brown album, Leftism, Dubnobasswithmyheadman and Mezzanine. No weak tracks, plenty of balls and a punk attitude plus the fattest beats. Even better, it upset the PC establishment just like 'Never mind the b*llocks' did 20+ years before.

 | TB 303 (5) 05/04/2004 | Fat album for freaks like me to tweak all night to. Not a bad song throughout and along with Altern 8 paved the way for future electronica to step up to their level.

 | Chris4213 (0) 03/21/2001 | Prodigy's "Fat of the Land" is an energetic, full-force techno album with excellent production. This is the kind of music you should blare from your speakers along with a subwoofer booming. Better than Prodigy's all too happy "Experience" album, and at least as good as "Music for the Jilted Generation". "Diesel Power", the album's rap track, is excellent; boasting tremendous mic skills from rap genius Kool Keith and powerful beats. Other tracks worth hearing repeatedly are: "Breathe", "Serial Thrilla", and the incendiary single "Firestarter".

 | Shacky (0) 01/12/2001 | This was a great CD because it combined rock and techno. It was a new and unique sound that can't be matched.

 | Reno (0) 01/10/2001 | Prodigy are always promising sound. Brings out the rawness of Maxim with crazy beats and enticing music. A "get up and jump" CD incorporating heavy beats. A worthwhile purchase.

 | Flapjack (0) 12/18/2000 | What can I say, it is sick, evil and fun. It is what I call offensive techno. It is almost uplifting, to the point where I want to get out of my car and trash something.

 | Mimoh81 (0) 12/13/2000 | Classic techno. Prodigy was the first to really let go of all restraints and be truly innovative in their use of digital technology, and first to be accepted and acclaimed by the public and the media, although a lot of people were against them over the controversy in, Smack my Bitch Up.

 | omiranda (0) 11/27/2000 | One of the original stars of techno music, Fat of the Land by Prodigy is one cool CD that, although a bit aged, is still great to listen to.

 | AL316 (0) 11/20/2000 | The new Prodigy just isn't as good as the old school stuff. They try to be too "hardcore" on this album. I like their earlier work much better.

 | infamous (0) 11/20/2000 | Prodigy is always off the hook. They have been around forever. If you haven't heard of Prodigy then you are not from this world. Their sound and creativity is one of a kind!

 | badfrog (0) 11/17/2000 | Prodigy has been on the hardcore scene in Europe for years, and with their new album they display a new style with many more vocals. Keith Flynt is now the vocalist and they are breaking out.

 | MRangel (0) 11/17/2000 | Prodigy is always a good group to listen to while working out or any other activity that involves aggression. Sometimes they are a little too off the wall in the way of style of performance. In other ways they're a little too evil.

 | sfitzpatrick (0) 11/14/2000 | This was a fair outing by Prodigy. It was much more popular than Music for the Jilted Generation, yet lacked the consistent beats of their first album.

 | rsios (0) 11/10/2000 | Prodigy sometimes seems too crazy. The craziness doesn't allow you to get the climax that you visualize at a rave. Has a great beat, but sometimes the background doesn't fit in well.

 | evcatt18 (0) 11/09/2000 | There are only a couple of songs on it that I like. The group is a little crazy for me. I don't exactly think they have good clothes. Other than that, it is great music to work out to.

 | brolly (0) 10/30/2000 | If you like techno electronic fast beats, Prodigy delivers with a blend of guitars/drums/keyboards and still makes it all sound great. This CD is great for keeping you up on long drives.

 | kme98692om (0) 07/16/2000 | This CD is excellent if you are into techno music. The songs are like MTV alternative rock songs with a sample of drums. Actually, even if you are not a fan of this genre of music, this CD might grab your attention. The songs are excellent and I would recommend it.

 | Trey7309om (0) 06/10/2000 | Pretty good, but instead of beats, they are more noisy sounds. It needs more variation in the beat.

 | Oni96961om (0) 05/26/2000 | Prodigy are rave Gods! They encompass a wide variety of emotional states on the in CD, "Fat of the Land." The music has many different cultural elements as well, with songs like, "Waragan." "Doctor Octagon" is excellent on that CD as well.

 | duka6747om (0) 05/17/2000 | Prodigy produced a good song in "the fat of the land". It has a good hardcore beat, a good melody, and overall, it is a good album.

 | brit6682om (0) 05/16/2000 | Prodigy is one of my all time favorites. I can say Prodigy can set a mood. I love Prodigy when I drive. I love Prodighy when performing dance routines. I even love Prodigy when I kick back. All in all, Prodigy is really up tempo ful of high energy.

 | ange6643om (0) 05/15/2000 | I think that Prodigy is a great electronica band coming out of London and I hear their songs in a lot of commercials, tv programs, and radio stations. 'Firestarter' is a great song with a fast paced, get you going rhythm. I also hear it a lot in the clubs and at raves I go to. However, because it is played EVERYWHERE, it does easily get played out and the songs ere cool at the time (I think it came out in 1996?) Hearing the songs occassionally is good though, but they are played out.

 | sonr6637om (0) 05/15/2000 | If your into this kind of music you'll probably like this album. The band is pretty much recognized throughout the world. They sing and play very well. Being a band from London, they don't have a big accent in their songs. Also, the songs are very "hi-energy" usually played at places like Raves. Right now I don't listen to it too much since I am kind of tired of hearing it, but if you haven't heard it I recommend it.
