I love every song on that cd. "Hey Now, "My Valentine"are my most favorite songs on the cd. Emotional song is in a class by itself. It is a beautiful song. Nobody can compare to Mr.Carl Thomas.

Carl Thomas is by far one of the most gifted artist I've seen in awhile. He sings with his soul. You can see in his eyes that he sings from experience and gives us his all. This cd is great! All the songs have beats that you can feel, and when you're with your special someone this cd will have a powerful effect on you and in my case my man.

"Emotional" reminds me of tunes from the great Stevie Wonder. Carl is a wonderful, passionate, soulful singer who deserves a lot more recognition than he is receiving. Some tracks to check out are "Emotional", "I wish", "Hey Now", "Come to Me",....Even the intro is beautiful!! This CD is a must buy. Much success to Carl in the future.

Carl Thomas' Emotional is a song all people w/ the capability to love should enjoy. I have one piece of advice for those who found the song "terrible"...Single life is not for everyone. Plus, he is sooooo fine and has charisma, romance, and style.

I love Carl Thomas's new CD.When I am alone, I just listen to it over and over again. The sounds of the music along with his voice are so soothing, and most songs have something that all people can relate to. I hope he can have something to top this on a second album. Love You Carl!!!

I can't wait until he comes to the bay area for a concert. Every track on his CD is just beautiful! I love the song Emotional! I fell in love with it the first time I played it and when I saw the video it just made me love it even more. He made me think of past relationships that I hadn't thought of in a long time. Carl Thomas will be around for along time. So you haters better watch out for your spot cause he comming to take over.

If I could give it a 20, i would. Carl has opened my eyes to something different. I actually feel like now that i have his cd, i know just a little about him. When he sings, you can tell he is singing from the heart and the lyrics just sooth you. We need more Carls. Oh and i heard that he is dating Mary J. Blidge. Alot of people having been saying negative things about that. I just want to say, if anybody deserves a good man, you know it's Mary. Evidently she has something he wants. Stop hating!

Before his freshman album, I'd never heard of Carl Thomas. I must say After listening to him , I wish I had. This brother is truly blessed and gifted. Each of his songs reached out and caressed its way around my heart. His lyrics make you want to grab on to your other half and feel what he is singing about. Tracks 2, 6, 9, 13 and 15 are definitely on point! You have my undivided attention Mr. Thomas. I eagerly await your sophomore CD and all of the others to come. Carl Thomas' "Emotional" is one of the best cd's to hit the charts today. But unfortunately, Carl does not get the publicity he should or the push that would give him the props that he deserves. The whole cd is tight, every song makes you groove and at the same time puts you in the same place that he was at when he made the track. I ain't hatin Carl!! Love ya baby!

The C.D. is better then great ever man should be obligated to be as "emotional as Carl is, he reaches my heart ans soul with his music everything is realistic, and I can relate to it. I particularly love the last song "special lady". It is a must have C.D.

When he first came on the scene in Puffy's "Been Around the World" remix, I didn't know if he could do anything special, but I did notice the fact that the man could sing. Emotional is one of the best albums that I have heard this year. Carl Thomas is a real brother who is not afraid to let his woman know that he is in love. This album is excellent. Like someone stated before, this is the best freshman album that I have ever heard. I dont think that its possible that he could top his album "Emotional", but if he can you better believe that i will be the first one at the store to purchase it, just like I was this time. The album was released on my birthday, and what a wonderful birthday present it was. Carl Thomas has a soulful voice that no one else out there in the music industry can copy. He is totally worth the two cds that I purchased and the $65.00 that I spent on front row seats to his concert with R.Kelly in December. One Love Carl.

I was really surpised at the talent that Carl Thomas showed on his CD Emotional. I have to hear tracks #14 & 17 everday. Carl certainly deserves 5 stars for this one!!

I'm a huge Carl Thomas fan! I think that Emotional was the best album (r&b) of 2000! Carl keep up the good work, and by the way will you marry me? Al the bad remarks about Ccarl had to be from people who 1) never heard the album, or 2) hate slow music. Which is fine I have friends like that. But Carl Thomas is where it's at!!!! I think his album will increase our population for 2001 at least by 4 times! This is the most awesome love-making music that's been made since silkk had a meeting in their bedroom. If any of the readers know Carl Thomas personally, tell him he is making all kinds of single (and otherwise) women fall in love with him. I might go to Hollywood for a map to the stars just for Carl. He is so sexual! I haven't felt like this since I met my husband of 6 years! He always wanted kids, and now thanks to Carl now he just might get them!

I am loving every moment of Carl Thomas's entire album. I can relate to his songs so vividly. The man is so talented! The sound of his voice his so soothing, it just touches every inch of my bones. Not only does he sound good on the album, but live as well. His voice is well trained, and his performances well prepared. He has it all...he is sexy,fine, and knows how to blow my mind. Carl Thomas emerges on the R&B scene with a bang. This guy really impresses me. You can tell that he actually trained in order to sing, not just got a lucky break like most of these other no talent singers of today. I think he has staying power simply because he has his OWN style and he actually knows what he is doing. His album proves that when you take your music seriously, you will get a quality product from the work you put into it. Many singers such as 112, Next, etc. sound just alike and really have no musical ability whatsoever. They just whine and moan, and this sounds just fine to the ladies, but they actually have no talent. Learn from Carl; do your own thing and you will get much more respect.

Emotional is my song on the CD. I really love his style, it is very different and keep me interested throughout the entire CD. i really admire him and pray that God will continue to bless him. So people need to stop hating a brother!!!!

I met Carl Thomas last night after a Concert he held at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is an excellent singer in person as well as on hid exquisite CD. he is very outgoing and sweet. I danced with him and gave him a hug and kiss. He was nowhere near stuvk-up and he loves his fans, He y=thanked everyone who brought his CD and those who did not. I love that Guy. I should have tryed to talk to him.

I think Carl Thomas new cd is excellent. He has a variety of thing on the cd. I am a r&b lover and if you love r&b you should buy this cd. Carl is also very attractive, the way he dress is very sexy. Carl where ever you someone in Detroit loves you and keep on doing what you are doing. Don't let know one discourage you. Continue to keep your head up and let God lead which is obvious from lyrics from your cd.

I think Carl Thomas' CD is a great love making CD that people will enjoy (especially tracks 15 and 16). Watch out Mary J, if Carl keeps singing and writting songs like the ones on his CD, I'll become his "Summer Rain!"
