One of the better albums of 2000. Some of my favorites are the gospel-tinged "Dying to Be Alive", the power pop "If Only", and the classic rock of "This Time Around".

Hanson is a cut above the usual boy band fare. Hmmmbop is a classic! It may not have worked for them this time around but rest assured it will in the future.

It reminds me of when I was like 10...mmbop baaadoobey dop...sumthin sumthin....just used to hum the rest...I am glad that they are still trying to do something...an A for effort.. and Im not hating on people who still like them...just not my style...when they start sounding like blink 182 something corporate green day or finch..I wanna hear them!

I don't care if Hanson is "popular" or not anymore, they write all their songs, play all their music, and aren't fake little boy bands who got into music just because it was the "cool" thing to do. They love music & have been performing since they were little. And besides that, the music they write is very deep & beautiful.

Hanson IS a very talented band. They write all of the songs themselves and deserve a lot more recongintion than they get in my opinion. A lot of radio stations now days refuse to play any Hanson. That is just not fair for them, or thier fans. Thier songs are very deep and meaningful and beautiful at that. Thier new CD's previews hint to be just the same beauty.

The very penticle of suck!

Granted, the boys play their instruments and write songs, but this is still a group still getting by mostly due to their pretty faces (be it boys' or girls' faces....especially the lead singer). This record was even worse then their debut, and they were younger on their first disc. Let's not also forget that it's because of these guys and the Spice girls that we now have to live in a world of no-talent teen pop. Curse the day mmmbop or mmmmcrap came out.

These are some very talented kids, and this album is a prime example! it's no MMMBop poppy stuff, but it retains that younger generation appeal

This album isn`t good, `cause it`s amazing, great and outstanding. I`ve been listening Hanson music since 1997. It still goes on. It will never stop. And I`ll kick your ass, if you say that they make bad music. Millions of their albums` copies are sold all over the world. It really proves that they are genius musicians. Positive energie, good sound, truthful songs! What else? I think they`ve got everything to be popular. They really need it. They deserve it!

hanson will always rule bescause for one they turning in to rock so when people get sick of nsync they still be here!times migth look bad now but i and many others inculing stars know they survive.they migth change to completly rock or something else but them do there own music they be here. i can't wait till the next abulm that due out in fall that what they said there club and mtv said it to .give them a chance people they rock now.go buy the abulm i promise you will not be dissappointed ok!

I thought Hanson's firt CD "Middle Of Nowhere" was a good CD, look how many good songs where on that one for 3 young kids from Tulsa. Now "This Time Around" came out and it has several good songs on it. They have matured so much since the first cd came out. The music has more to it and has more of a Rock/Pop style instead of just Pop.I enjoyed this cd more than the first and I liked the first cd. Wait until their next cd comes out, I'll bet it is more like Rock and Roll this time. Unlike N'Sync and The BackStreet Boys, Hanson plays their own instruments and write their own songs. Looking forward to their next cd.

I have been a Hanson fan since 1997, and this is the best work they've done yet. I can't wait until the next album. :)

Hanson did a great job on This Time Around. They are the greatest band to ever bless the music business!!!!! They are very talented. I respect the fact that they write and play their own music not many people their age can say that. I think they are in the business for all the right reasons. I like the fact that they have family values. And not to mention the fact that they are sooooo SEXY!!!!! All three of them man. It should be against the law to look that good :) THEY ROCK!!!!!

This was a really good album. I was hoping that it would do better than it did, but that just goes to show that people just don't know what they're listening to. I hope that all Hanson fans stay true to themselves just like the guys. Have fun and keep boppin'!!!

This c.d. is awesome and it shows that Hanson has definitely matured over the years. All of the songs have poingient meanings. Listen to "Save me" and your heart will melt!

This album is amazing. Hanson continues to grow and develop their musical talents, and they are on in full display on this album. As an adult, I thought they were 'cute kids' when Middle of Nowhere was released, but since purchasing TTA, I'm a bonafied fan! I am looking forward to many future releases.

Hanson is very talented and they deserve 5 stars for this cd. The lyrics are great and they have helped me through some pretty sad times! HANSON FOREVER!

Hanson's new cd just proves how talented they are. They are not a boyband. You cant complement a boyband on how great musicians they are,now, can you? I didnt think so. This Time Around is more rock than pop and I suggest you go out and buy it. It is awesome!

I am a total Hanson Fan...and I was obsessed in the begining...then with the sonic boom of boy bands i sorta shoved them back and got into the other bands...when they released this time around (the song) i wasnt impressed...then with If only...i decided to buy the cd...and became instantly hooked..i went out and bought their old one...and about every one i could get my hands on...This Time Around (The album) is a really great cd...with good music and deep lyrics...and not to mention plenty of fun songs...the hanson boys have talent and they really do apriciate music and not just the fame...I think they have a good thing going!

Every one of Hanson's album is great so its easy for me to say This Time Around was the GREATEST!!! If you dont have it i suggest you go get right now! ADVISE TO ALL: Continue to love Hanson, because they're the best band around!!!!!!

Hanson's new cd is incredible. It's a whole different style of music than Middle of Nowhere. Its more of a pop rock sound. People need to get over the fact that it's hanson and listen to the album, it speaks for itself. They write all their songs, play instruments and produced the album, they deserve so much credit. The lyrics are well thought out, and people of all ages can relate to them.

I'm sad to see so many people don't like this album. But then I am happy to see that us true dedicated fans have so many good things to say about them, because they r the best. Hanson is one of the hardest working bands around. They work there butts off to get where they are. I think they deseve a lot more credit. Hanson unlike Nsync and BSB write their own music. They don't steal other peoples songs. They deserve A LOT more respect than they are getting. Hanson is #1 4ever!

i love hanson so much but i must admit i thought tay was my girl friend megan when i first saw him, he looks good with short hair, so does ike. thier music is real on cd, video, and live, and i love it. i think girls talk bad about hanson to sound cool around other people that don't like hanson, and guys are jealous or lost thier g/f b-cuz they want/wanted to go out with hanson. This album is great. The three boys have all had drastic vocal changes and can really rock. If you like rock and pop, I totally recommend this album.

I didn't care much for Hanson before (I was one of those people who thought Taylor was a girl in MMMBop and didn't really change my opinion later) but after about 2 years, If Only came out in Australia, I began to love them! I first bought the single, then later the album and I listen to it everyday! They have definitely steered away from "bubblegum pop" and they have a more mature rock 'n' roll/pop sound to their songs as well. Their lyrics are also very inspiring. Overall, HANSON RULZ 4EVA!!!! Hanson has done such a great job maturing and perfecting their sound. I absolutely love the new CD, and I find the songs much more rock n' roll. They have done a wonderful job putting together the whole album. The songs have a bit more edge to it, and I think it's just great!!! I hope they keep up the superb work!!!

This album rocks! I hated Hanson for years. I heard they were coming back and I was like...oh great. But you know what? I heard their song This Time Around and just loved it! It had such a new and mature sound! I went out and bought the single. Later, I bought the album. All the songs are awesome. They have meaning and Hanson is wise beyond their years. They have really matured and deserve to be called a great ROCK band. Just listen to Dying to be Alive or This Time Around When you hear that one part do you know why I died? your heart melts. This is one great album and EVERYONE should get it.

Hansons This Time Around is an awsome CD to own.They wrote all of there music and songs,they are very talented.They put all there heart into this CD and worked very hard to get where they are.This is a good CD for all ages.Itz a 10 star CD

This album is great, not just for teens, but for adults also because the lyrics of the songs are very deep and meaningful. This album has more "edge" than their first album and its not as "bubblegum" pop.

HANSON RULES 4 EVA

Hanson have matured nicely on their sophomore album, and have lost the cheesy school-time themes prevalent on "Middle Of Nowhere." Their newest effort has lots of great hooks and memorable guest instrumentals, especially on the jangly "Sure About It" and the road tune "Runaway Run." Only a few songs such as "Can't Stop" are a little too redundant, and the brothers still seem to have nothing but love on their minds, but genuine musicianship overshadows these weaknesses.
