The guitar duels are well done and hearing BB & Clapton playing acoustic is such a treat. The music on Riding With The King is what I was expecting from Eric Claptons (From The Cradle) and was disappointed. Riding With The King is a Classic!

 | Shroomwoman (12) 06/22/2000 | I really like to listen to music while I cook, and this is the ideal CD. It starts off with the fast-paced, upbeat "Riding With the King," and what follows is a nice mix of blues and rock. "Marry You" and "Days of Old" really get me moving in the kitchen, and "Worried Life Blues" and "Come Rain or Shine" slow things down a bit. So pour yourself a glass of wine, put on "Riding With the King," and kick it up a notch!

 | Wiggum (16) 06/13/2000 | This is a very good CD by two of the all-time greatest blues musicians. Clapton has always pointed to B.B. King as his hero, and they've played together often. But this is the first time the two of them have made it into the studio. I wish it would have happened 15-25 years ago, when they were both closer to their prime, but the result is still great. "Riding With the King" is full of solid blues music, so don't expect any of the drippy soft-pop Clapton put on his embarassing "Pilgrim" CD. If you're a fan of Clapton, King, or blues music in general, this CD is a great buy.
