 | shortywolf_33 (0) 05/22/2001 | I love DMX, but this CD wasn't as good as "It's Dark and Hell is Hot"! I loved the CD, all but like 2 or 3 songs. There not as TELLING as the 1st CD, if i should put it that way?

 | Jr Zambabaz (0) 12/16/2000 | This CD is hella tight. The lyrics are really good. It teaches strong beliefs and he is down for them. The songs made you think.

 | kellydt (0) 10/23/2000 | DMX brought to the scene what many others were afraid to do- he said what was on his mind. His beats are off the hook, and with this album became the backbone for the Notorious Ruff Ryders!

 | bonerxviii (0) 10/20/2000 | This CD consisted of 1/3 solid songs, while the other 2/3 was too aggressive and upsetting.

 | rubenruffryder (0) 10/18/2000 | This is an all time great CD. Every track is great. It was a great start for DMX. This gave the hip hop world great noticeability and launched the biggest and most successful tour in hip hop history.

 | eramirez (0) 10/18/2000 | This is just the greatest CD ever because I like each and every song, not to mention my favorite song ever is on this album (Slippin'- Track #10). I knew this album would go platinum as soon as I heard it, which it did 3x. It was an even greater success than his first album. This album is the reason I've been to both of his concerts, one of which I drove hours to get to.

 | Black Bax (0) 10/02/2000 | X was relying on his voice to much. The lyrics werent there like on the first one. DMX is really gifted and has the talent to drop the tight flows but I think he's trying to do to much at once. Take your time and make the rhymes shine.

 | dars6908om (0) 05/23/2000 | I really like the beats in this CD. I also enjoyed the lyrics. The one about 'Damian' and how he made DMX a house between him and his friends was a good track. It sends a good message with the...'the snake, the cat, the rat, the dog, How you gonna live when you livin' in a farm?'
