Excellent production,precision rapping and very thick grooves.The problem is it's a little monotonous to listen to the entire album.

Back in the days when Rappers didn't devote their albums to excessive profanity, gratuitous violence and sickening sexism. This is an album which has to be heard. With Rakim's ability to hit you with his on-the-ball lyrical dexterity and witty metaphoric word-play without even trying too hard, and with Eric B's wonderfully relaxed and smooth and wafer thin mixing of James Brown and 60's R'n'B samples, this is a must have.

The greatest hip-hop album from the greatest duo of all time. I can't believe sh*t like lil' bow wow is rated ahead of them.

A good album. From "I got soul," to "Paid in Full," to "Thinking of a Master Plan"... this is a CD which I will still throw in every once in a while, for old times sake.
