Dont get me wrong, I like Da Brat but this album is exactly where she fell off and her last album sealed the coffin on her career shut. Fundafied and Anuthatantrum were great albums but this album comes across as a rush job. The Intro feat Millie Jackson and Twista is good. We Ready and Whatchu Like feat Tyrese are passable songs. Hands In The Air feat Mystikal and Runnin Out Of Time feat Kelly Price are the best songs on this album and Chitown is good track to end the album with. There are too many missteps on this album to ignore. Her first single, That's What Im Looking For is straight up booty. Whats On Your Mind feat 22 and Latoya Scott, Pink Lemonade and High Come Down are perfect songs for insomniacs. F*** You sounds like the type of track Missy Elliot would make. Breeve On Em, All My B****es and Back Up featuring Ja Rule are garbage beyond belief. Its sad to see one of our better female MCs put out an album this subpar but we have to accept that people dont last forever in the game. The production was iffy and Da Brat sounded like she just did this album just to keep her name relevant. In the end this album ended the career of one of the nicest female Mcs to rock the mic. Rest In Peace to Da Brat's rap career. 1994-2000. Standout Tracks: INTRO, WE READY, WHATCHU LIKE, HANDS IN THE AIR, RUNNIN OUT OF TIME and CHITOWN.

and that's for "Whatchu' like"...other than that, I have never listened to the whole CD. But "Whatchu Like" was my jam and that's enough!

Unrestricted is Da Brat at her best. She improves lyrically and shows a different side of herself. Still she does not impress me, she still could do alot better considering she has one of the best flows in female emcee history. NOT RECOMMENDED.

This is her best album to date. This album has mad flows and stunning collabs, even Millie Jackson. This is hot and a must must have. Funkdafied has nothing on this album.

MY FAVROITE RAPPER HAS BEEN DA BRAT SENSE I WAS 4 I USE AND STILL DO.. ALLWAYS WEAR MY HAIR LIKE HERS THAT IS MY NIGGA FOR LIFE. HER SISTER YOYO HAPPENS TO BE MY COUSINS BEST FRIEND. BUT STILL I HAVE NEVER MET HER. WELL I REPECT DA BRAT BECAUSE SHE HAS ATTITUDE. CAN'T NO ONE TELL HER ANYTHING DIFFERENT. SHE HAS A HIGH LEVEL OF COFIDENCE AND DOESN'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS. WHEN SHE SPEAKS ITS STRONG AND VERY REAL SHE WILL NEVER SPIT NOTHING FAKE IT WILL ALWAYS BE THE HONEST GOD TO TRUTH. THEN SHE HAS RESPECT FOR HERSELF. SHE FEELS SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO FLOSS HER BODY ALL THE TIME, JUST TO SELL A RECORD. SHE CAME IN THUGED OUT AND STILL SOLD MILLIONS. IN ADDITION, SHE DOES HAVE BODY, NOT BEING GAY BUT THEY CAN'T SAY SHE DON'T. SHE SAID SHE JUST DIDN'T WANT TO GET ON STAGE AND WORRY ABOUT A TITTY POPPING OUT OF HER SHIRT. WELL I GUESS I'M OUT. REMEMBER I WANT TO BE LIKE BRAT.

Being as though I am a female lyricist, I know good lyrics when I hear them. The simple reason why I luv Brat's music, is becus she's raw, real, and uncut. She keeps it real unlike so many of these corny hoochified female rappers. And the best aspect about her, is that she has the versatility needed to write her own rhymes. Holla. (1-Luv Philly)

I think, well I know Da Brat never minds any misleading info about a wack track of hers because she's the dominant woman on the rap and beauty turf. You never see her head hangin low unless she's deep in her lyrics or shruggin at her pants. Her lyrics, album and BOD are tight. All you haters please step aside and give someone else a chance to be heard on this hea sight.

DA BRAT IS ONE OF THE MOST ENTERTAINING FEMALE ARTISTS IN THE INDUSTRY. NOT TO MENTION SEXY AS EVER. ALMOST EVERY TRACK WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD BOBBING AND THE WORDS FLOWING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. I PERSONALLY LIKE "RUNNING OUT OF TIME".
Tiff- Dogg 04/14/2001

DaBrat is a very very talented female rapper and I don't agree at all with the poll that was taken. I've been a fan of hers for a while now and I think she is the BEST FEMALE RAPPER there is flat out from her #1fan Marcia
frie9934om 08/19/2000
This CD was weak to me compared to her other albums. For some reason, I just don't like the beats. The lyrics are kinda tight, but the beats are wack. She could have done better. But, the first single is tight.
