As much as a lot of hip hop fans love to hate him, you can't really deny Eminem. When you get down to it, he's one of the best rappers in the game (yes, I just said "in the game"). Eminem is an unapologetic badass, and it's awesome. Songs like "Stan" and "The Way I Am" basically defined pop music the year this record came out. Another 5 star rating? Yup.

i can't understand how anyone can dis this album?! garbage?? it is one of the biggest selling albums of all time!! shady at his best and this is the album by which all his future ones will be compared. This is his Sgt Peppers Only Heart Club Band, his Morning Glory, his Nevermind and deserves to be in a list with all thoses albums, not just the best in hiphop! This album shocked and amazed in equal measure and was the last by shady to be written on pure passion. The eminem show and encore both have there moments but have neither the passion or the rage that made this album so good. with this album shady made himself the spokesperson for and the face of hip hop and since this album only kanye west has made an album that has made people speak of a new face of hip hop.

This is a top tenner, lyrics, beats, subject matter was all over, made you bob your head to the beat or laugh. Eminem definitely put his all into this album. Stan, Who Knew, I'll kill you, the list goes on and on.... this is a must have.

Every Eminem CD is a 5star cd to me. And I don't know what song you people are talking about where he says he beats his daughter. The only thing I've heard in his songs is how much he loves his daughter. As far as Kim, yea he does rap about killing her. It's a joke, lighten up.

Another wonderful album by a great artist. Go Eminem ! We love you ! :)

Eminem may talk trash about people, but sometimes you have to go past the cover of the book! I think that Eminem is extremely talented and it's not because he's a white boy who can rap! He isn't scared to speak his mind and be honest about how he feels! That takes guts even if it makes everyone else sick! This cd is another eminem classic. Though the rhymes on this one are not as involed as on the first one, the beats and creativity move this album right along.

I like Eminem's songs and sh*t. but I don't think that he should put down girls. Girls ICP are the only 2 things that he should keep his ugly nose out of. Peace.

EMINEM is the most talented rap & hip-hop artist i have ever heard. I have both of his albums & both have lived up to expected standerds, BEST MUSIC EVER!! The lyrics are not only funny but also apply to real life, he says whats on his mind & that can be really hard to come accross these days. I say, Em rocks!!! I've been a hardcore fan ever since 'Hi, my name is'.

Eminem has flow, can stick to a subject, is lyrically on point, and has the greatest production with Dr. Dre. He rhymes about real life situations. Some of the lyrics are what people call "demeaning" but guess what?? Life isn't perfect. 80% of the stuff he talks about runs through our minds atleast once in our lifetime and he is one of the few people to have the balls to say it. How many songs can one make about sex, diamonds, and money?? Not too many beofre it starts to get old. That's why Eminem is successful, because he keeps it real. Much success to Em in the future. On this CD, I especially like the track "Remember Me" with RBX and Sticky Fingaz. This album is a must have.

I think Em and Elton will be one of the most historical musical events in the history of the Grammys! They sure know how to boost the ratings!!!!! I am a great fan of both.

Eminem is the greatest solo rapper going in the business right now. His words flow together really well. You cant beat this album.

I have a real problem with swearing, and this album is full of it, its not easy to listen to music when alot of the words are swearing. I enjoy the music of Eminem and other artists similar to him but how about stopping the swearing. Thanks

The Marshall Mathers LP is the best album ever, I luv listening 2 rap and Eminem is one of the best rappers ever, he is fine.

I'm not gonna say anything bad about Eminem because to be honest, I'd be afraid he might hunt me down and kill me or something!!! About his music...although some of his lyrics are offensive I find his music somewhat entertaining. I would recommend Eminem to my friends!! My favorite song is Stan. I also like Criminal and My Name Is!! And about the way Marshall Mathers looks...he's fairly cute but not as cute as his daughter. And I do think his lyrics are offensive to a degree but I also think the press should get off the poor guy's back!! He's trying to make a living and support his family and if disturbing lyrics is what the people are into nowadays then the man has to give them what they want!! It's supply and demand and he definitly supplies the lyrics the people want!!

Eminem is absolutly the bomb. I think it's great that there's a white rapper out there representin', and he's making it. His raps are hot, and so is he. Alot of his lyrics are harsh, but once you listen, I mean really listen to them they really do have a meaning to them, it's real life stuff, that goes on all the time. I love his song Stan, it's the best, and I hope one day to meet Eminem, and maybe become his next wife!!

I really loved this CD. If u ask me to many people take what he says to seriously. If u don't take what he says like, "OOOh my god he said he killed his wife!" then u can enjoy what it's saying and even laugh at times. If u didn't like this CD because it's not the kind if style u listen to, fine, but if u don't like it becouse of what he says, lighten up.

I am totally in love with Eminem,his cd is hot and he ain't scared to put whatever he feels into his music....there will never be another rapper like him!

His beats are tight but that song, "Please stand up" its the worst. His lyrics is not much because its just anger that rhymes. Hell i can do that. but I cant knock the fact that he can flow with speed and acuracy real well.

I like "Way I Am" from the first time I heard it on his CD. Eminem is open and honest, and that is what I like about him. He is not scared to say what is on his mind.

The Marshall Mathers Low Profile leaves you asking one thing... Why? Why would someone want to sing such hateful songs. In his songs, Eminem (real name Marshal Mathers III) sings about killing his wife, beating his daughter, and various other hateful things. Though I think it is very overstated, the media has a legitimate gripe about the bad-boy rapper. As the old saying goes: 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.' I wish Marshall Mathers had kept a low profile.

I think EminEm is cool and i like The Way I Am and Stan the best.

I didn't like this CD when I first purchased it, but it really grew on me. I think that The Marshall Mathers LP is Em's second best CD, his first being Infinite!

I rated this a 5 because Marshall Mathers, I think, is the best white rapper there is, except for the Beastie Boys. He makes a lot of good points and brings up a lot of good issues.

I really like that CD, and I listen to it a lot. But being a girl there are some songs that I won't listen to because of the lyrics- the ones that talk about hitting his kid and wife, and if you don't like this song suck my d*ck. The last one is just really stupid.

i thought the cd was great but it would be cool if it had "the kids" as a bonus track at the end of the explicit version. Tom Stromberg

I love Marshall .B. Mathers i always have I liked him for day 1 I think this album was a hit more then the others .But i still love every song he ever made and more days to come I'm a die heart fan!
