Blackberries are one of my favorite fruits. As they tend to be rather expensive, picking them yourself is the way to go, but if you want to find the good patches, prepare to be scratched up. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do spoil rather quickly, but luckily they freeze well. So you can pick as many as you want in the summer, put them in the freezer, and enjoy them all year.
UPDATE: So the rater below will only eat them in soy yogurt. Putting them in soy yogurt would actually be a very good way to make me not eat them.

I do not like blackberries. I hardly ever eat them. I will only eat them if they are in soy yogurt.

Delicious, slightly plump, and somewhat messy. Just like my former roommate likes his women. Much better than raspberries.

The blackberries (singular, blackberry; genus Rubus, subgenus Eubatus; also called bramble or occasionally "bramble raspberry") are a widespread and well known group of several hundred species, a number of which are closely related apomictic microspecies, native throughout the temperate Northern hemisphere.

Blacberries are quite nice.

Berries aren't fruit technically speaking. Fruit grows on trees. Berries grow on bushes. But I would rate blackberries high on the list. Anything with just a little tartness works for me.

Oh the blackberry? These phones suck! OH! You're talking about the fruit? Haha, I had to.

Delicious, particularly picked fresh off the vine. The occasional scratches are worth it.

One of my favorite late-summer treats.

There's nothing more delicious than blackberry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Fine sweet fruit, but I certainly didn't get to eat a lot as many of them have spoiled within a day. It's not as acidic as a raspberry. Wonder why this fruit shares its name with a PDA...

Blackberries taste great. The only downside is they're only in season for a short while, and they grow a white fuzzy mold pretty fast so eat them ASAP.
