Quite frankly 'Home' is a 5 star album.

I have always thought they were overrated. There are very few of their songs that I will even tolerate. I wish they would just disappear and stay gone.

I agree with Kelsdianne, I used to like the Chicks real well. I didn't appreciate what was said about the president and it seems many others didn't as well.

This CD is so fun to sing along with. But the Dixie Chicks in my opinion have gone downhill.

I've never been a Dixie Chick fan, but I bought this cd last year...I liked it, suprisingly.

Sorry, Blinkangel - "Goodbye Earl" is on the Dixie Chicks' second CD, "Fly". This is their debut release and it's the one I go back to time and time again. Some of the lesser-known tracks are my favorites, like "I'll Take Care Of You" (a great wedding song), "Am I The Only One" (sooooo heart-wrenchingly sad) and "Give It Up or Let Me Go" (must be listened to at highest volume possible, especially so you can catch the "YEEEEE-HAAAAW" and the girls giggling at the end of the track). Natalie's voice is awesome, and the slide guitar and Texas-style fiddling are matchless. This is the Chicks at their finest - before all the "Goodbye Earl" hoopla.

Great first album. Good songs, but left room for improvement, which they did on Fly. Fun to sing along to.

I have mixed feelings about this CD, and I think the rating really depends on the persons point of view. Although I really like the music on this CD, and there is A LOT of variety, I don't think it really conforms to "real" country music. It's extremely off beat, espeically "Good-bye Earl," about spousal abuse and murder, something rarely heard of in country music, however, too much conformity gets dull, and I highly recommend this CD.

I saw the Dixie Chicks in concert and I had to buy the album immediately afterwards. I love them, sound and they are the sexiest little chickens today.

For a debut album, this was a hit for the three gorgeous blondes.

This is the best CD the Dixie Chicks have come out with yet. Good mix of up-beat and slow songs. It is fun to listen to. The lead singer has an excellent voice.

This CD is full of great songs. I am able to listen to the whole CD without skipping a song. They are also very cool in concert. Their music is very fresh and entertaining.

I like the Dixie Chicks because they bring a different style to country music, and I think that is great. The CD is awesome and I listen to it all the time.
