I think this is one of those albums that you're either gonna love or hate.I hated it-and planned to stop buying records permanently because of it.I love Miles Davis-the jazz musician;I hate Miles Davis-rock star.

Sweet as it gets. The best Jazz album I have ever listened to. Way out there and just a masterpiece.

Blows conventionalities out of the deep blue sea. Miles set the standard for new genres with this masterpiece. A perfectly realized effort. Best song? Miles Runs the Voodoo down. He runs everyone else down too with the inventiveness.

Every 'electronic' jazz musician working today needs to worship at the altar of the Bitch. Miles invented modern jazz-fusion with this album, and everyone since has been influenced by it, whether they admit it or not.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, everything is so beautiful, proof of a genius who's written the best pages of jazz history.

The best jazz ever ! Especially "Spanish Key". Besides, how many individuals on this album !

Coopoy loves The Brew. Post-dating "In a Silent Way", it represents one of Mile's earlier experiments with electric instrumentation and a seminal work in jazz rock. It is deep, myterious, but swinging (You know that Coopoy likes his music to swing). The brooding presence of Bennie Maupin's bass clarinet on Spanish Key will send a shivver down your spine.

Bitches Brew is a great mind-altering CD, best enjoyed on strong hallucinogenic substances. Never a bad trip on this one. The spanish key takes me into the eye of the she-God in the sky and spits me out with a loud inner thunder.
