09/18/2008 | Great Cd and...'My Funny Valentine' was Chet Baker's theme song;he owns it like Sinatra owns 'My Way'(you can check out it out for as little as a penny plus 2.98 shipping on Amazon).I was not originally a fan of his singing,but after being lectured to by a seventy year old plus "hipster" while discussing our favorite Chet Baker cd,'Chet'(all trumpet playing),I gave it another shot.If you don't like his style of singing this,give it at least one more shot.The guy who lectured me called Baker "the coolest guy";whenever I'm stuck in traffic and hear some idiot blasting some crap out of his car,this tune is at the top of my list to blast back.

12/24/2002 | Chet Baker has a very unique style, which can be hard to take if you're not ready for it. I think this album is great, but I have to be in the mood to listen to it.
