I rate this just as high as 'Kind of Blue. Miles Davis said it himself, There ain't nothing you can play on the horn that Louis didn't do first.

Superior music by a superior jazz musican. A must have for anyone who likes jazz and loves Louis Armstrong.

Be clear on one thing: without Sachmo there would be no jazz as we know it. These seminal recordings are a pure delight and of huge historic significance. Listen to them and you will see that every atom of this man was infused with jazz. Wonderful emotional and musical mastery.

It doesn't get any better than Louis Armstrong. If you are a fan, this is a necessary addition to your collection. If you are looking for a Louis CD to start with, this is an excellent introduction!
