02/08/2002 | Be clear on one thing: without Sachmo there would be no jazz as we know it. These seminal recordings are a pure delight and of huge historic significance. Listen to them and you will see that every atom of this man was infused with jazz. Wonderful emotional and musical mastery.

08/25/2000 | It doesn't get any better than Louis Armstrong. If you are a fan, this is a necessary addition to your collection. If you are looking for a Louis CD to start with, this is an excellent introduction!
