The perfect album.

I am somewhat of an AC/DC fan but I always thought this album was overrated as are most of the Brian Johnson efforts. Give me Bon Scott any day.

I always thought AC/DC were overrated. All of their songs sound the same. This album is probably their most popular. I think it is okay but it doesn't particularly move me.

Very good but not quite up their with the best of the Scott era albums. I also prefer some of the other Johnson era albums such as the underrated 'Razors edge' and 'Stiff upper lip'

This is a good album but sooo overplayed. And how can this be better than any Bon Scott album?

One of the single best hard rock albums ever. It's timeless. Our grandchildren will be listening to this one. It's a waste of time to try and describe the music, everyone has heard it!

Well it could simply be the best hard rock albums EVER sinc it sold 19.000.000 pieces in the U.S. only.

This is a great hard rockin album. It's not usually my cup of tea but I can deal with this.

Not sure why this is so popular. It's a good album by AC/DC's standard's but way short of 'Highway to hell' and 'If you want blood'. Frankly, those are the only 2 of theirs you need.

Black in Black is a great album. all songs are awesome, the whole cd is perfect 10.

AC/DC rocks and so does this album. I'd say they could seriously make the claim to be the greatest rock band in history.

Back in Black is a world reknown rock anthem that brought AC/DC to the list of Rock and Roll gods. This hard hitting, fast paced song made Angus Young a household name when it came to guitarists. AC/DC would not be as popular as they are today if it wasn't for Back in Black

A monumental piece of music that saw AC/DC rise from the ashes after Bon Scott's death truely a rock master piece.

AC/DC is great, but I don't think the Linkin Park kiddies will understand.

Has to make the top 10 list of anyone's favorite pure rock albums ever. Lasting memory- My mom came into my room while I was listening to Hell's Bells and said- That man sounds really pissed off.

I'd pick American Beauty by the Dead over this anyday. And unlike some other critics here, I actually did my homework. Hey mike CL, maybe you should too. Then maybe you won't come off as such a dufus....

AC/DC's music is very simple, it does not really have much feel to it,the drums are so freaking basic,and if your considered hard rock why not distort the guitars properly,Angus Young does not overdrive before his amp and instead lets the amp give him a little edge, not really heavy at all though and I'm afraid the vocals come across as someone gargling while singing.I think the gentlemen in the band are really excellent folks but to me this type of music is sort of boring and weak

Released in 1980 and produced by perfectionist Mutt Lange, Back In Black is a landmark release in its hard rock/metal genre as reflected by the singles which enjoyed huge crossover success: Shook Me All Night Long and the title track. There is not a weak song in the bunch which is even more impressive when one considers that this full-length effort was released a mere five months after the death of the band's singer Bon Scott. Some of the better tracks (other than those already noted) include Hells Bells and Shoot To Thrill. Guitarist Angus Young was at his best, and new singer Brian Johnson filled in admirably and became the new voice for the band. The bottom line is that Back In Black is rightfully considered one of the best rock releases of all time.

AWESOME!!! The hardest rock that money can buy!!! After this album, things went a little down hill. Brian Johnson had a great voice back in the day, and he still tries hard (unlike some other singers) but his style of singing is taking a toll on his voice. Bon Scott, the one and only original, was great!!! I recommend this and all the previous albums to any fan of real rock! Rock on! Oy!

Pure energy R&R! ROCK ON, ANGUS!!!!!

One of the rare finds in music where an album is complete and always enjoying from the very first note to the very last second. Every track from 'Hell's Bells' to 'Rock N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution' is a masterpiece of good ol' rock n' roll in it's simplest form. Nothing bad can be said about this album. GO GET IT! NOW!

How many bands can pull off such a great, classic, hard rock album during an emotional rebound from a tragic loss such as the passing of their lead singer (Bon Scott) in all of one year? Apparently this band did and it's such a fitting tribute album to Scott. Brian Johnson was a very wise choice for a replacement.

I am a fan of quality hard rock but AC/DC has never done it for me. Every song on every album sounds the same. Basically buy one AC/DC album and you own them all. I don't understand why they still get so much airplay but there are other more deserving legends still putting out original music.

I have never understood classic rock's fascination with this band. To be honest, all of their songs sound the same. They are a good band, but I hardly call them great.

I'm not sure what type of music some of you people listen to, but most of the time when an artist puts out an album most of the songs sound similar. This is generally because the band was in a certain phase when they were making the record. Also haven't you ever heard, if it's not broke don't fix it? Back in Black is one of the greatest compilations of songs ever. It takes it's place along side such great albums as Appetite for Destruction and Master of Puppets in the history of rock n' roll. If you like loud music with bewildering guitar playing or have ever claimed to enjoy rock music and don't own this album you are lying. Any true fan of rock would sell off half their cd collection if that's what it took to get Back in Black. If you don't own it already make it your next purchase. If it comes down to putting food on the table for your family tonight or obtaining this album I think the choice is clear. Sure your family might not understand at first, but once they hear the music they will forget all about their hunger and slip into a blissful state, and it will be hailed as the greatest purchase any family member has ever made. Well maybe that's a little extreme but I think you get the point.

AC/DC and Aerosmith are the two most overrated hard rock bands on the planet. Why does classic rock insist on playing these guys every single hour?

AC/DC isn't one of my favorite bands, but this album really is good. Most songs by the band played frequently are from Back in Black. It is one of the best selling albums ever. They did it in memory of their fallen lead singer and the dirge-like bells at the beginning of Hell's Bells captures that well.

Have you ever heard a CD that makes you want to start it all over even before you are finished? Well, this is it. Talk about hits, wow, with great songs like "Hell's Bells" , "You shook me all night long" and the title track "Back in Black" headlining this CD, you absolutely can't live without it. AC/DC's unique style is extremely evident, in probably their best hit of all time "You Shook Me". Definitely need to get this if you are looking for classic rock.

This is the best band that came out in the '70's!! I saw them in Germany in the monsters of rock tour, and they were awesom!!

This is an awesome CD. I'm only 13, but I can remember going to so many wedding receptions and loving it because they always played " You Shook Me All Night Long" Back then I didn't know who it was by or really what it meant, I just knew that I loved the song, and I still do. Now, whenever I go to a party I always request this song. It's my favorite. The guitar riffs are great and just the sound of the song is so great, so original. It can't be beat. There's hardly a better CD out there than " Back In Black", a masterpiece.

This is one of the best CD's ever made. It is popular in any setting, who doesn't like AC/DC? It appeals to people young and old alike. No matter how old you are, you can listen to this CD.

One of the classic metal albums of all time, Back in Black will tear you a new butthole. Full of raging guitars and catchy riffs, this AC/DC album is a must have.

How is this band, still selling any albums, when you have so many veteran rockers out there, actually putting out some original music? This band, keeps redoing the same three riffs over and over agai, only changing the lyrics. Buy one album from these guys and you have them all. Back in Black is an okay album, but this band is extremely overrated!

An excellent cd. And a great comeback for AC/DC after the death of Bon Scott. It's to bad too. Bon had a unique voice and was comical at times.

One bad ass CD. This is a classic rock CD. Back in Black was the first album released after Ben Scott's death. My favorite rock CD of all time. Some of the tracks on Back in Black are, "Shook Me All Night Long", "Back in Black" and "Hell's Bells".

Great comeback album with a new singer. No one new what to expect after Bonn died, but the guy handled it just fine.

This album has become one of the seminal works of the "new" AC/DC. I believe Bon Scott would be pleased.

AC/DC kicks ass. Black in Black never gets old. I hear it constantly at jukeboxes everywhere.

These guys really know how to straight forward rock. They have great energy.
