 | sickofcarr (0) 12/03/2005 | Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. etc. etc. They're all the same band and they're all phony garbage wannabees. This "band" and Korn and the rest of them are what Scott Ian called "backstreet boys with guitars". Just like on my comments about the Korn album, this is another reason why the 90's were the worst decade in the history of music when it comes to hard/heavy music.

 | DeathRattle (1) 02/25/2002 | Wining, complainig, and basic hashed riffs. Fred Durst is like the little brother that won't shut up. Now I understand why Wes left the group (other than the fact the band lacks of musical talent). When you want a real song about standing up for yourself. Don't go to 'Break Stuff," go to Pantera's "5 Minutes Alone" off of "Far beyond Driven." That's music!! This is not!

 | saltyeagle (0) 06/05/2001 | After first hearing this album, I loved thinking that I could indeed be a fan of mainstream music. After going back and listening to Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, A Tribe Called Quest, Ice Cube, Bowie, the Stones, Zeppelin, the Sex Pistols, De La Soul, and the Jungle Brothers to name a few; I can now see the lack of deph or insight in Durst's lyrics. Sure his anger is very easy to catch on to but its based on mindless, self-absorbed hate, not really giving a real messege like Ice Cube did in the controversial "Death Certificate" or Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell, or Trent Renzner in their angst ridden lyrics. Unfortunatly, I was hooked on this album and Chocolate Starfish, constantly cursing out my ex-girlfriend and loved the catchiness of it all. After going back to a few classic rock and rap artists, I will never go back to listening to Limp Bizkit unless someone asks to put it in the CD player. By the way, if you want to listen to a much better rap-rock combination check out 311. They have more meaningful lyrics and are overall a superior band.

 | JeNnY-p0p (0) 05/17/2001 | okay, these guys are my favourite band and this albumed was nothing short of amazing. one of their best,if not THE best, it shared alot of emmotions and it stimulated so many more. The sound is so unique and so satisfying. i didnt think that music could possibly make u feel this way, this above everything, but this album proved to me that it can, and does.
i used some of their lyric that helped tto win an art comp, thanx guys, please keep it up, i love it!
i worship the biZKiT:)

 | smackingkitties (0) 04/24/2001 | This cd came through when the critics thought it wouldn't. With songs like "nookie" and the ultimate song for the pissed off "break stuff" who wouldnt like it? Alright, I admit, it wasn't as good as "three Dollar Bill Ya'll" its still a great cd.

 | Mudge Peeples (0) 01/23/2001 | I hate rap and my dog can write deeper lyrics than Fred Durst can, but somehow I like this record. Fred has a good voice when he tries and the music is surprisingly layered and catchy. They are a guilty pleasure, not a whole lot of talent in some ways but fun to listen to.

 | JackieM (0) 01/15/2001 | I have a hard time trying to figure out whether this is serious. Fred Durst can't sing, there's no musical melody to speak of, and the subjects addressed are so juvenile and irresponsible that it must be a joke. If I didn't know any better I would say there was no potential audience for this, but I do know better, unfortunately.

 | Jessfixy (0) 01/10/2001 | I am very critical of today's music because much of it sounds crappy and lacks talent. I think Limp Bizkit is great. They have a really unique sound and smart lyrics. They're a tight group with a solid sound.

 | miko (0) 01/10/2001 | Limp Bizkit sucks. They are on the rap-metal train to bad music. They have little skill as a band, and even less as lyricists.

 | CinCin230 (0) 01/10/2001 | This album is what turned me on to Limp Bizkit. Although the music is loud, in some ways I feel I can relate to it's tones. It's great to listen to, lyrics are catchy, very creative artists.

What happened? A year ago it was Nine Inch Nails,Radiohead and Tool.Music that inspires has deptha nd explores new territory. A year later and look how far we have come. Rape rock. Self deluded meaningless middle school mentality poppy post alternative ki some gay ass go fu*k some bi*ches and pass me a beer hip hop rock. They sell records because the Mandy Moore crowd like them. If you are an MTV teeny bopper TRL supporter you will sell albums no matter how devoid of meaning and out and out slop your album really is. I'm tired of non talent getting the spotlight. A P erfect Circle and Radiohead both produced incredible albums and didn't get jack. But then again this industry has turned into product instead of depth. If you have any self respect and are a thinking and non woman hating human being who likes to think rather than watch Beavis and Butt Head, tune this crap out. Life is too short to be a dumb ass.

 | Eolmo (0) 12/20/2000 | I am really not a rock fan, and I think Limp Bizkit and his "Significant Other" CD definitely falls under that category. Yet, I bought the CD for one track, "Shut the F**k Up," featuring Method Man. I really respect when artists cross genres to create a new sound, that can be appreciated by a bigger audience.

 | Fritz B (0) 12/19/2000 | It's not rap or hip hop because it lacks consciousness. It's not heavy metal because each and every member seems devoid of musical talent. The alledged mixture of hip hop and Black Sabbath is really a mixture of Britney Spears-esque lyrical quality and Ruff Ryders-esque endless, cheesy madismo which could only be dubbed "Mall Metal." So I guess it's okay if you play high school football, fear you might be gay, or have your mom drive you to concerts.

 | MoMoney (0) 12/01/2000 | I love this album! It has so much energy and it really gets me going. I like to listen to it when I'm getting ready either in the morning or before I go out because it gives me the energy I need (it could actually substitute coffee in the mornings!).

 | PeteRock (0) 11/24/2000 | This was one of the best albums of 1999. The mixture of rock and rap went well with this record. The CD was a real eye opener. "N Together Now" with Method Man and "Nookie" are the two best tracks on the record.

 | crazyderek (0) 11/21/2000 | Very good. Man I love this band. They do great concerts, and I've been to all of them that were here. Every concert I went to was great. Very worth all the money I spent on tickets.

 | alicats (0) 11/13/2000 | Since their debut album, Three Dollar Bill, Y'all, Limp Bizkit has gone downhill. If you liked the first album don't check this one out.

 | wrealone (0) 11/10/2000 | Fred Durst drops it on this album. Lyrics are sick, beats and guitar are tight. They tore it up on this one, especially on "Break Stuff.

 | tapaznon (0) 11/10/2000 | I like this album because it's loud and I can relate to some of the songs, like "Nookie," "Break Stuff," and that one song about sex. On some songs I don't like the climactic noise and yelling at the end.

 | nerda (0) 11/10/2000 | This CD rocks! Limp Bizkit is one of the few bands from the rock/rap genre that I actually like. Hits like "Nookie" and "Rearranged" are songs you can really rock out to. Another thing that makes this album good is the fact that they have other musicians like Scott Weiland, Jonathan Davis and Method Man contribute to the album.

 | jezzebelm (0) 11/09/2000 | This CD is awesome because it has a lot of great songs. The songs don't all sound the same either. I love how Limp Bizkit mixes rap into their songs. Great lyrics.

 | ashkandvc1226 (0) 11/09/2000 | Great CD. 13 through 16 songs are tight. Can relate to a few songs. "Vocal Content" pumps me up for racing when I'm pissed off.

 | berto (0) 11/08/2000 | This is another good rock CD that has a lot of energy and just about every track on this CD will make you feel like getting up and breaking something. It is also a good CD to play when you just want to kick it.

 | princess64 (0) 11/08/2000 | Limp Bizkit Rocks! They aren't afraid to express how they feel, they don't give a *!|>. Their out there to have fun. Anyway, you should see them in concert. It's soooo fun. Most of the songs are fast and upbeat. The CD's a four but the band's a five.

 | kali6 (0) 11/03/2000 | Limp Bizkit has become popular ever since their appearance on MTV's Spring Break. I liked this album because it contains songs like "Nookie" and "All N2gether Now." It has a good mix of rock and rap (like when it features Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan). It shows the diversity of the band and the different kinds of songs they are capable of doing.

 | esha (0) 10/20/2000 | Limp Bizkit rocks. They seem very real, change it up in every song and always rock out. They're uplifting and not totally trendy, like most these days.

 | chunky (0) 10/11/2000 | This Cd only has 1 or 2 good songs. Most of the CD is lame. You can easily get annoyed by Dursts lyrics because he isn't good at rhyming. You should consider spending your money elsewhere

 | none9554om (0) 08/10/2000 | Limp Bizkit is one of those AMAZING group of people that only comes around every once in awhile. Fred Durst is the MAN, he does everything he can to incorporate his fans into what he does (which is cool in my book), and he just looks so damn cute! Wes is the shiznit, and the drummer guy (whatever his name might me) is a cute kid. As for their music, I'm not the HUGEST fan, but they still put on an AWESOME show!!
