01/15/2001 | This is a powerful album with really good songs. Some like, Building a Mystery and Angel, are great. Some songs are a little boring too. Still, I think this is her best album.

01/15/2001 | If you're only planning on listening to the CD a few times every couple of months, this is a great album. But after a few plays Sarah McLachlan begins to grate on the nerves and seems whiny. Every song has a similarly slow beat and I wish she'd vary it just slightly.

01/10/2001 | This is a real good album, very fun to listen to, very passionate!! I couldn't give it 5 stars, though, it just didn't blow me away. The only album this year that I gave 5 stars to is David Gray's 'White Ladder'. But I still listen to Surfacing a lot!
