I went to a funeral and a Sara McLaughlin concert broke out. Whiny, sappy, sob songs.

Sarah McLachlan continues to inspire with her album Surfacing. If you're into introspective lyrics, beautiful vocals and melodic music, Surfacing is a great buy.

This is a powerful album with really good songs. Some like, Building a Mystery and Angel, are great. Some songs are a little boring too. Still, I think this is her best album.

If you're only planning on listening to the CD a few times every couple of months, this is a great album. But after a few plays Sarah McLachlan begins to grate on the nerves and seems whiny. Every song has a similarly slow beat and I wish she'd vary it just slightly.

This is a real good album, very fun to listen to, very passionate!! I couldn't give it 5 stars, though, it just didn't blow me away. The only album this year that I gave 5 stars to is David Gray's 'White Ladder'. But I still listen to Surfacing a lot!

She did awesome for the City of Angels soundtrack, and the music is clean with reflection of soul. The orchestra in the CD is also great.

This album is mellow and puts one in a really peaceful mood. She sings about real life situations and her songs allow one to reflect on their own life. This album is definitely good to listen to when you need to think or be alone.

Surfacing is a great album by Sarah McLachlan. I always though she's better on CD than live. This album is very relaxing and her voice ethereal.

Sara is fantastic. A good quality on the mix which has more than several of the songs that are hits on the radio.

This album has some really good songs, but some of it is also boring. Her prior album was much better.

Sarah McLachlan can do no wrong. Her songs provide smooth ballads with just enough edge...beautiful.
