 | DemonRealm (0) 12/31/2002 | Sting is a disgrace! He ruled in The Police, but what the hell is this??? If you showed this to Sting in 1978 he'd be laughing so hard.

 | Guinevere (0) 02/08/2001 | I love the album - it´s got wonderful and extremly deep lyrics and the music in very sensitive. Feels like Sting really is "a grown up" now... It really touched me. I guess you have to have a certain mind-set to understand what´s going on in his song...what he´s trying to say. The only thing that I missed was Vinnie Colaiuta playing drums on all tracks; he just played on a few this time! He´s simply the best drummer walking on this planet! ;-) In my humble opinion...Hope he´ll be back on the road with Sting sometime soon.

 | Teaseress (13) 01/24/2001 | I admit I am an absolutely massive Sting and Police fan. I noticed one guys comment about how he should ask the other band members for him to come back - here's a few facts - 1. If it wasn't for Sting, the Police wouldn't have been so massive (he wrote all the top hits) 2. the Police dismembered in 1984 and they don't want to reform (so there isn't a band to go back to) 3. Sting decided to jack it in 1st and go solo and finally, if Sting is failing to grab the younger generation, then why does the international fanclub have thousands of young members?
Lets face it, after 20 years of being in the industry he is coming up with truly amazing songs that grabs peoples attention.
Oh yeah, he's done the best out of the three of them.

 | scribbles (0) 01/16/2001 | The only album I gave 5 stars in the last year was David Gray’s “White Ladder”. But this one is pretty close. I love the songwriting and melodies.

 | Charonzen (0) 11/13/2000 | A solid album with classic touches of Sting. He's always trying new things but he is becoming pigeon-holed and bland. A good album to pop in the stereo when you invite a girl over for dinner.

 | RalDiggySuppaDupaFly (0) 10/31/2000 | Gordon needs to beg the Police for a chance to be with them again. His attempt at capturing a new crowd in younger America is weak. Only discontnet yuppie 40 year old bought this album. Keeping the euro/latin opra singer out would have helped.

 | Lorin R. (0) 10/16/2000 | In a word: OUTSTANDING! Sting is old enough to be a grandfather, and he STILL comes out with amazing music that is so rich and diverse that the listener has no choice but to be drawn in. He is simply put one of the best songwriters on the planet, aside from Seal, and I hope he doesn't stop.

 | vikemoss (0) 09/15/2000 | This song is going to be another one of Sings live forever classics. Just as the radio still plays the police, Brand New Day has the quality and meaning that will anchor itself in the wet music concrete of today, and will set up and harden for many decades to come.

 | Wiggum (16) 08/02/2000 | This CD is very uneven. Some of the songs are good, but some of them are really irritating. I guess it's like most of Sting's post-Police CDs (with the exception of "Nothing Like the Sun" - I really liked everything on that one). So if you're a Sting fan, you know what you're getting yourself into. But if you're not - be prepared that "Brand New Day" is a high-maintenance CD, meaning that you can't just put it in the CD player, sit back, and listen to the whole thing. You'll need to repeatedly skip the annoying songs so you can jump right to the good ones.
