The Skulls was a decent movie, but there wasn't that much to distinguish it from over movies of it's type. A college kid joins a secret society, bad things happen. More or less what you expect. I do remember joking with some of my fraternity brothers that we should tattoo our fraternity crest under our watchbands.

I expected so much more from a movie with this title. I thought they would go a little deeper into the secret society and reveal names and how they were established. They really didn't tell us anything.

Ok but not great.

The Skulls was certainly different. It was suspenseful at parts, and then other times the plot just didn't make sense (see Wiggum's comment). The cast was average at best, with the best performances coming from veteran actors William Peterson and Craig T. Nelson. I'm tempted to give it only two stars, but I have to admit that I was entertained and interested throughout the film, even if it did lack a relatively sensible plot.

I think anyone foolish enough to rent this movie (including myself) deserves exactly what they get. Clearly this is a bad movie. The actors are all second-rate, the plot is irrational, and the movie was only made to squeeze $7.50 out of every member of the "Dawson's Creek" crowd. So why did I rent it? Because I'm a sucker for bad teen movies (and TV shows), and I held out a small hope that "The Skulls" might just be bad enough to be entertaining. No luck. Joshua Jackson cannot carry a movie by himself, even with a lot of help, and the only help he had in this movie was Leslie Bibb (who really is beautiful) - the rest of the cast was a joke. And I counted maybe 20 different times where the plot just didn't make sense. Take, for instance, the fact that this supposedly secret society, the Skulls, has its own building in the middle of campus with a huge steel "Skulls" logo on top. Pretty sneaky. Even if you like bad movies, save yourself some time and skip this one.

In love with Joshua Jackson. But it reminded me too much of The Firm. Besides if the "Skulls" are so secret how could anyone write a movie about them. It's all here say!

Skull is a good action movie, but mostly for 16 year old girls. The fraternity environment is grossly depicted and inaccurate. I enjoyed the movie though, because it had some fun imitation stuff.

This picture makes you realize that there are secret societies going on in college. Very good movie.

I thought this movie was great. I think it made a lot of highschool students think twice about fraternities or secret societies. I thought the movie was very clear, and expressive. The points were made to make the audience think.

The movie was cool. The actors did a good job. The only problem was the stupid ending. It was cool to see underground associations work but the ending wasn't good.

The movie was not as scary as they presented it.

Despite the hype, Skulls was not that great of a movie, nor was it the worst I've seen. This is the type of movie that's just worth renting.
