Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits (Alice Cooper)

As Greatest hits packages go, this one has the good fortune of covering the artists prime period as a singles act. If you are a casual listener to classic rock radio, then pretty much all of the essential works are hear. If you are a fan of his later, heavier music, you probably never cared for his hits anyway.

This album contains the hits from Alice's original band. This is a good beginning lesson for Alice fans but it is slightly disappointing. Yes the songs here are great, but some of Alice's best songs are the non-hits like Halo of Flies, Unfinished Sweet, etc. This is a good intro but I would consider purchasing his boxset which has hits and non hits not only from the original band but his later, underrated works.
