Very sly and intelligent preacher who selectively mixes some biblical truths with the prosperity and kingdom now doctrines! Please read in your bible all of 1st Timothy Chapter 6 and Matthew Chapter 7 Verses 15 through 23 for more insight into Kenneth Copeland and most of the other TV celebrity preachers! May God Truly Bless You And Open Your (Spiritual) Eyes!

Too focused on materialism & self gratification. Another Erroneous Tithe Teacher. Many of His Giving Principles are applicable before Christ fulfilled the law for us for free.

Just a few Scriptures to Support Mandatory Tithing is no longer required because Christ has fulfilled all Laws and requirements of the law by His death on the Cross: Giving to support the Church is Voluntary & in light of what Christ has given us for free Voluntary giving should be
more than 10 percent but if not our favor & blessings is our Legal right & inclusion in our package of Salvation when Jesus is our Lord & Savior

Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. The word Ordinance (requirements was used in Malachi 3:7)

Ephesians 2:15 "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity even the law of commandments contained in ordinances for to make in himself of twain one new man so making peace".

Acts 15:10 "So then why do you now want to put God to the test by laying a load on the backs of the believers which neither our ancestors nor we ourselves were able to carry?"

Acts 15:19 " We should not trouble the Gentiles who are turning to God.

Acts 15: 28 "The Holy Spirit and we (the Apostles) have agreed not to put any burdens on you beside these necessary rules (instructions were given without commanding Gentiles Tithe)

2nd Corinthians 9:7 "Each one should give then as he has DECIDED, not with regret or out of a sense of duty, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Acts 20:33: You yourselves know that I (Apostle Paul to the Gentiles) have now wanted anyone's gold, silver or clothing. You yourselves know that I have worked with these hands for everything that my companions and I have needed.

1Thessalonians 2:9 "Surely you remember our brothers (Gentiles) how we worked and toiled!
We worked day and night so that we would not be any trouble to ou as we preached to you the Good News from God."

The Doctrine that we are gods (equal to Jesus) may be alluring to many. It doesn't matter what they confess none of them can Walk on Water!!! Also where is the fruit & humility???

Only God carries the title of Omnipotent (all-powerful) and Omnipresent (present everywhere). Last I checked people are still aging-(some more graceful than others but neverless aging as well as dying).

My prayer is:
Father in the name of Jesus, please give us humility like Jesus who rode in on a Donkey (instead of a Chariot) and humbly washed the dirty feet of his disciples!

Copeland started his ministry by memorizing the messages of others and preaching them as his own. A corrupt foundation results in an unsound structure.

Yet another word-faith false prophet. First Timothy 6 and Romans 16:17-18 commands true believers to withdraw themselves from such people.

I try to take a live and let live attitude towards these refried Jesus-wheezing TV preachers. They have their role in life, and I have mine. Theirs is to to be sanctimonious panhandlers, and mine is to enjoy life as well as I can. I don't pray for libidinous women and whisky, and I don't go on TV asking for people to send me a few bucks.

Kenneth Copeland passes himself off as being a theological expert, but let him show us show me just ONE place in the New Testament or even in the Old  where tithing on money is commanded. You have to tamper with Scripture  to justify monetary tithing. God commanded tithes to be taken only from the fruits of the land (Lev.27:30-34). Tithing was a point of Mosaic Law given BY Moses from Mt. Sinai to the children of Israel, not to the Eskimos and Apache Indians. Jacob and Abraham's tithes were voluntary. God didn't ask for those tithes, and Jacob attached conditions to his. How could Jacob bargain with the tithe if he had to tithe anyway? Jesus said tithing is a point of the Law (Matt.23:23). That was BEFORE THE CROSS ushered in the New Covenant. In Acts chapter 15 the apostles had the perfect chance to bind tithing on New Converts but they didn't do it. Why not? Even in the OT, priests did not tithe. We believers are the New Covenant priesthood (I Pet.2:5,9). When a Christian tithes, he denies his own priesthood. Whoever keeps just one point of the law he's a debtor to do it ALL (Gal.5:3). Bringing yourself back under the Law brings a curse (Gal.3:10). Giving to the rich brings poverty not wealth (Prov.22:16). But it would cost Kenneth way too much to preach on this verse.. Why doesn't Copeland push circumcision and animal sacrifices? They predated the Law too. I guess there isn't much profit in those doctrines. http://banpreachergreed.tripod.com

Do you believe what the BIBLE says that he (the LORD) cares for his children?  Are you up set because in there ministry the need a plane to travel around the World teaching the Word of GOD.....How much more would it cost them in time and money to travel via comerical airlines would that give them the time to rest as they need before bring to you and others the word of GOD ... They are human too they travel what 250 to 300 days a year always on the go for what to make more money off of offerings???is it for them???or is it for the love they have for GOD....You see with that much traveling they really have time to party and spend all the money you claim they steal ..... If I were you I think I would becareful of what I said when traveling by sight and not seeking the truth .. Try focusing on the GOOD in people there are some out their that think of others first before themselves...By the way thats called love for others and it comes from the GRACE of GOD !!!!!!!! a friend in Christ and GODS son ed

Word of faith is great! It has helped me understand the Bible like no
other. If we don't say what God says, what are we going to say and agree
with? I experienced the Word in my life, so no one can tell me it doesnt'
work. The Word is what keeps us free from the devil, and naturally he
tries to make faith teaching look foolish. But the Word will set you free, as it has me!!!

Ive been there, thats why I am here.
Exactly who does have a right to question Copeland about where the money goes? Copeland put on a exhalent performance at his latest ministers conference, visible at http://www.wittenburgdoor.com/copelandclips , in which has now gotten the attention of people all across the USA, and abroad. If I didnt personally know better, one would actually think he cares about the protection of all his followers (partners),that pour money into his ministry. Requesting a summery of my mothers (Bonnie Parker) contributions, a long time partner of KCM, we like Grassley got little or no response. (Request viewable at http://sis359.blogspot.com/ ). If their partners arent entitled to this privileged information, even though they are funding this lavish lifestyle KCM has grown very accustom to, nor is the Senate entitled either, then who is? The IRS perhaps? Are the teachings of the Prosperity Gospel message being misconstrued? Do we, any of us, have a valid argument, or the right to ask for these records ? I believe with all my heart, we should let the ones affected most by this money making scam have a say in determining the answer to those questions..
I had a home, I had a life, I had faith, I had a family, I lost a loved one, I have no clue what the truth is anymore! I will never trust any form of religion. these are merely a handful of endless testimonies coming to light nationwide. Ranging from all walks of life, their heartbreaking testimonies can be found throughout the web, yet inconceivably, victims are being labeled as fools, ignorant, and basically downright blind for not seeing the truth behind the Prosperity Gospels falsehoods. Being only human, our quest for health and wealth, regrettably does lead some in the wrong direction. Promises and guaranties, made by the Prosperity Gospel ministers, give people that have not obtained these blessings on their own, a second chance at achieving their goals in life. An important discovery I made while reviewing testimonies, revealed the fact numerous victims had very little knowledge of the Prosperity Gospels dark side. These unfortunate victims, appear to be equipped with only a small portion of the web of deceit these ministers weave . Picture yourself being raised in a small country town, with a population of only a few hundred, the closest city, only a population of only a few thousand. Computers, internet, cable, satellite TV, and other high tech gadgets are not needed or desired. You are living a simple , solemn life you wouldnt trade for any amount of cash. After your working day is done, you gladly remove your shoes, kick back in your easy chair, and relax without a care in the world for a while. After flipping on the TV to view the local evening news broadcast, you are reminded to give thanks that you dont have the worries that accompany life outside the safe haven of your home, and your community. Religion is your safeguard, your faith is strong, and you have no doubts about the truth behind your sacred beliefs. This was my life, before KCM.
Prosperity Gospel ministers enter the homes of many victims though a thirty minute Sunday morning worship service on a local broadcast station. Growing up in Jigger La., truly located in the middle of nowhere, I can testify to the fact that we only received on a clear day about three or four channels at most. Warnings of dangers associated with Prosperity Gospel ministries, made by critics, ministers, and victims go unheard, therefore tragically for many, when the realization of this scam is discovered it is already to late. Familys have lost their homes, lifesavings, and some even their lives due to the Prosperity Gospels misleading doctrines. Unfortunately my mother was not one of the lucky ones, her confidence, and faith in this false Gospel, ultimately cost her, her life. After more than a decade of programming her mind to believe and think the Prosperity Gospel way of life, she lost her battle with cancer. By refusing medical attention, she sealed her fate, but the programming she had acquired from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland proved strong all the way to her last breath. A diary she left behind revealed the horrific tale of her life from 1992-2002, the top of each page titled with Kenneth Copeland, Gloria Copeland, or BVOV. Some mistakes in life we can not undo, and good intentions dont always go as planed, these victims are simply following misleading promises of health and wealth. The use of miraculous healing confessions, and newly found wealth testimonies, are their sales pitch, sadly my mom among many other are proof that their sale pitch works. The possibility these Mega churches were misusing finances for personal luxuries is what brought this scam to the publics attention, not the loss of life, the financially bankrupt, and numerous homeless victims they have been left in the wake of this devastating hoax. So, do we continue blaming the victims, or do we stand up beside them, learn from there mistakes, and put an end to these senseless tragedies? Even I being a victims daughter have many lingering questions, such as follows, How is it that some see the truth, and others do not? What leads these victim to believe the unbelievable? Are some more vulnerable to these sort of money making scams than others When all is said and done, perhaps they will be tagged, not as the Prosperity Gospel, but the false gospel. One Quote from Copelands mouth should erases any doubts of KCM innocence,
Its not yours, its Gods and youre not going to get it and thats something Ill go to prison over. So, just get over it!

King of the WOF hucksters!  He actually convinced his naive, gullible, moronic "partners" (as he calls them) to give him $20,000,000 to buy him a private Citation X jet.  Then, without missing a beat, he asks these "partners" to cough up ANOTHER $20 million so wife Gloria can have a matching jet!  I heard him say on camera when he arrogantly flew in to a celebration for getting the jet that this plane would NEVER be used for anything but preaching the gospel.  Yeah, right!  Seems old Kenny boy is in trouble because this plane that would never be used for anything but preaching the gospel made personal trips for the Copelands to Hawaii, Fiji, a couple of day trips to Steamboat Springs for skiing, and for Copeland and son to go on a weekend hunting trip at one of those places where you're guaranteed to get an animal.  Copeland and his WOF ilk are nothing but scammers and con-artists who have no conscience when it comes to bilking hundreds of millions of dollars out of the naive, the lonely, the sick, and the desperate.

The Bible says "DO NOT judge, and you will not be judged. DO NOT condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.Luke 6:36-38.
And again,For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God pet 4:16.
With these two passages, please don't judge a man of a God, however you feel. Ok look at it this way: 2 wrongs can never make a right, and u may feel by condemning a servant of God that u'r doing God a service. But notice that the first passage is a COMMANDMENT , not a SUGGESTION. And may I tell u that By Condemning a man of God ( according to our first passage) you are actually despising God and His Word. And in fact the truth is that you are a horrible sinner and needs special deliverance from that sin of the devil ( The devil specializes in being and acting contrary to God and also accusing the brethren).
Now in another sense you may also feel that I'm Kenneth's fan and trying to defend him. NO. If he, Kenneth, actually is a false pastor as any person may think. Please let me counsel you to refrain your tongue from undue condemnation and rather hope in our second passage" God will begin His judgment with His ministers". So don't take God's position by attempting to play His role for Him. Don't be like the devil who wants to also be like the Most High
For you have said in your heart:

I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation(that is to be the Judge of all)
On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.
15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit

So Brothers and Sisters, Be wise and don't let your tongues call for whips in your own back.
In all things give thanks to God.

2Tim 2:15 Study to show thyself approve unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth. Like many false preachers and teachers, Copeland is another one, that fails to rightly divide the word, so he mixes it all up, just like so many other false teachers. He's a snake that hisses, I here.

1 Timothy 6:5 "...who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain." Actually, read all of 1 Tim. 6 to learn a proper attitude about money. As for the so-called "gospel of prosperity", this verse alone proves it's a big fat lie.
And if you want to give Biblically, give to the poor, the widow and the orphan...see the need, meet the need. DON'T BE DECEIVED!!!!

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland are people that seek to do God's will first above all things. If you are mad about how God is blessing them, check out how they have blessed others. Much of what you see belongs to the ministry, not to the Copelands personally. They have a TON of money, don't misunderstand me. Check into what they have given out of their pocket against what they get paid from the ministry. I think you will be surprised. Almost all of the Prosperity preachers have investments in business. That is where much of their money comes from, not from tithes and offerings. Do some research before you start bad mouthing someone. On a side note, how often do you see the Faith preachers bad mouthing other preachers or their ministries?

It’s amazing how every single evangelist that has expensive homes, etc is considered to be a scam artist. Just because they have money does not make them a scam artist. The richest institution in the world is the Catholic Church. Churches all across this world are some of the most expensive buildings (more expensive than needed for a gathering place); yet these institutions are not judged by the same standards as an individual. If an individual could put the money given through the ministry to better use, could not the institution do the same? Now, many and most of the institutions (such as the Catholic Church) do many good things with their money. How do we know this? Because it’s boasted. What good things do these individuals do? Not really sure because they don’t boast about it. Yet, we are not supposed to boast about what good deeds we do. They do always give credit to God for what they have and that is right to do. What is comes down to is this, people judge individuals (men and women of God mainly) about what they get and what they got, but never mention or take into consideration to what they do and what they give. People also hold individuals to a different standard to the standard of what they hold institutions to when it comes to money.

I’ve personally never heard these people say you MUST give to their ministries. I’ve heard, “whether you give you your church or another, give”. I’ve even heard things like this, “If you are praying for your house to be paid off, sew a seed and make a house payment for someone else who needs it”. Neither of these is un-scriptural.

On a note: 76% of Americans are in debt of other than home and auto. This means that the majority on here judging these men over the money they have are guilty of greed themselves. The lack of patients for that which you WANT to the extent that you purchase it on loan, then complain about the bill you have in getting that which is NOT NEEDED (boats, TV’s, games, toys, motorcycles, hot rods, larger homes then needed, more expensive cars then needed, etc.). You are willing to loose more of what you don’t have (money) to get things that YOU WANT. Greed is greed and you do not have to have money to have the love of money. The Word says to remove the log from your eye before trying to remove the speck from another.

The Bible was written by Jews, in the eyes of Jews. People interoperate the Bible differently; which is seen by the thousands of denominations across the world. Most denominations were formed from splitting from others due to a disagreement in the meaning of scriptures. Who are you to say your interpretation is perfect? Sometimes their interpretation may be off, but that is why the Bible says for YOU to dig into The Word… YOU are to stay in constant communication with the Father. If you listen and disagree on their translation, keep an open heart and investigate it for yourself and if you still feel they missed it, don’t judge them for it because we ALL miss it!

We are to judge fruits, but if you are one saying that a person is going to Hell then you are trying to take the place of God and you are wrong in doing so. Only God as the right to say who is, or is not going to Hell. Be careful in rating on this site that you are not judging that which we have no authority.

Why are people crucifying others? Are we not supposed to pray for even our enemy and do good to those who do bad to us? Examine your heart and be careful the words you speak.

Pray, and dig – dig – dig into The Word. Don’t just read – STUDY

God Bless

As with ALL WOF preachers, I wish there was a lower rating than 1 for Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. I think the Texas mansion and the $20 million Cessna Citation X that the Copelands are using for personal use says everything about them. They're nothing but vultures picking the bones (and pocketbooks) of the sick, dying, lonely, infirmed, misguided, and naive. The really sad thing is that these two cons are believing for a second $20 million to buy another Citation X for Gloria Copeland. I hope they don't get it!

You have to give seed money to build your faith!! ?

Nonsense. Absolute garbage!  You don't need to give anyone money to build your faith in God.  Hebrews Chapter 11 contains a list of people that were commended because of their faith in God.  None of them had to give money to have their faith built.  You don't have to give 'seed money' to build your faith in God either.  The way to have your faith built is to do the same as the people mentioned in Hebrews 11 - trust God.  Believe God.  Believe that he

Heb 11:6
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him
NIV

Are you seeking him or are you seeking earthly rewards?  Are you giving money because or what you can get out of it?  Do you think you can force God to bless you even though you give for selfish reasons?  God doesn't bless selfishness no matter how convincing the presenter was.

There are very few televangelists who can "get my goat" like Copeland. I really resent his "I'm-just-a-good-ol-boy-from-the-South" routine. While he's raking in dough left and right, he makes the unsuspecting think he's just a country bumpkin who fell off the latest turnip truck. Yah, this guy's dumb all right - dumb like a fox. He parlays that hick stuff till the bank is full, then attempts to tell everyone that God wants them to be rich (just like he is). He will not open his books to Christian financial accountability groups. Gee, I wonder why!

It's unbelievable the way this man can come up with so many unscriptural assertions(Jesus was tormented in hell, God is 6' 2" tall and weighs 200lbs, Adam was so pure and glowing in his appearance before the fall that you couldn't even look at him, etc, etc)and still have a following. So many people have their ears tickled by this man, that they don't even bother to hold him to any accountability...just keep on giving him their money so he and his wife can live it up. Here's something that the majority of "tithers" don't realize, and what I bet Copeland and MOST prosperity pimps DO know, but DON"T WANT YOU TO KNOW..."tithes" in the scriptures WERE NEVER A MONETARY COMMODITY. Tithes consisted of products grown from the land(Lev 27:30) and cattle(Lev 27:32), and the ONLY people oblidged to tithe were FARMERS, and the tithe was always to be EATEN(Deut 12:17,18). It was to be given to the Levitical priests(Num 18:24;Neh 10:38,39), only because they did not receive any allotment of land in the promised land, and also to be eaten by widows, strangers and orphans(Deut 14:29). It was a MOSAIC LAW, which was DONE AWAY WITH by the new covenant. Don't be fooled by the pimps assertion that tithes today is supposed to be money, because it was NEVER money. In fact, read in Deut 14 where it was told that if the place where God ordained the tithe to be eaten was too far to travel for those BRINGING the tithe, then they were to EXCHANGE IT FOR MONEY(vs 25)and then USE that money to buy WHATEVER THEIR SOUL DESIRED(FOOD OR WINE)and then, EAT IT IN THE APPOINTED PLACE. It was never used to line the levite priests pockets, and never used to "spread the gospel," as the pimps so often decry. I didn't mean to make this comment a lecture on the error of "christian tithing." But so many paople are truly ignorant of what tithing really was, and that is how the pimps take full advantage of very well-meaning christians, and are getting rich. "My people perish for lack of knowledge."

My opinion with tithing is....you cant really believe as a true christian if you believe in tithing....we are justified by faith not by how much we give. Seems copeland doesnt believe that.

The Copelands teach the uncompromised Word of God. If you don't like it, that's ok, but remember to focus on the Fruit of the Spirit before you release a barrage of insults. Healing is most certainly the will of God for us, (it's kind of one of the important reasons He came) see Matthew 11:5. Prosperity is also the will of God for us, see 2Cor9:10-11. If you don't like how someone looks, and you can't deal with that, don't look at them. If you want to live with the love of God in your life, try to think what a truly loving God would do for His children, see Matthew 7:11. As far as money goes, is not a worker worth his pay? The Copelands spread the message of the love and sacrifice and victory of Christ across the whole world. Go ahead, criticize it. It's up to you.

I had a close friend that worked in the Copeland Compound, and what goes on behind closed doors carrys much iniquity. They pay the staff poorly while a 10,000 square foot home sits on the edge of the lake flanked by expensive cars and aircraft, plus a large herd of cattle on a prime 1500 acres. Decadent living, opulent offices - but when one cries for help it is paltry in its response.

All of the things I have read that people use against kenneth copeland, when i have researched and checked what he said and meant and what his persecutors say he meant are totally different. Please find out for yourselves study the bible, nothing takes the place of chapter and verse and go and listen for yourselves to his teachings not just some short phase of his taken out of context, but his whole sermon he is teaching that has the supposed controvercy in. I have no vested interest in any of the word of faith teachers yet alot of what is said about them is false, lies and taken way out of context. Do yourselves a favour next time someone says somthing bad about sombody take your bible, ask the holy spirit for guidance and council and listen to the whole message carefully and trust God to reveal what is true and what is false, holy or profane.

On one level, he's just a rather typical fraud, an unexceptional, greedy charlatan like the majority of these televangelists are. However, Kenny is amusing and entertaining, I saw him go fishing of all things last night on TV, and Kenny and two other guys had themselves a good ol' time. Usually, he likes to spout down home witticisms, and is a little less pompous, and a bit funnier than some of these blowhards and often humorless whackjobs are. On the other hand, when I see him, he physically sort of reminds me of Sam Neill in The Omen 3. Never has there been a more diabolical looking preacher- extremely intense, eyes a'blazin,' a look of real avarice and malice, a smile that he can barely manage to keep on, one gets the feeling that he is barely able to contain his underlying demonic wrath, he looks like he's ready to come out of the TV, pounce on you, and devour you. Have you read C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters?" Ladies and Gentlemen, Screwtape has stopped writing letters and now has his own televangelist program. Seriously, I actually don't mind him as much as some of these guys, like the despicable John Hagee because he's kinda fun to watch even though you know he's an obvious huckster. I gave him an extra star for that reason.
