A very popular movie that I didn't enjoy very much. And I generally like Bob Hoskins work.

Very nice mesh of live action and animation, with a decent story and acting. I think Jessica Rabbit is the most celebrated female animated character since Betty Boop. Most of it is very funny and it is a pretty good family movie, it might be a little scary for the little ones.

Funny movie! and it had a lot of our favorite cartoon characters. It was a very funny and original movie, I was surprised the first time i saw it. Even though there are some adult innuendos and stuff like that in there, thats okay cause its fun for adults and kids to enjoy together. If i could watch again i would

This was sopposed to be a comedy movie? You gotta be kidding me-it sucked!
GenghisTheHun 08/17/2005
The cartoon interaction was fun and makes it worth the watch.

A great movie from start to finish, with great one-liners, and excellent special effects. The whole idea of toons living with real people (Or vice-versa) was fascinating. I really wish they had made a sequel to this one.

Seeing a stupid comedy like Monty Python being number one and a witty and fun comedy like this being number 102 is an insult. This is an awesome comedy everybody needs to see. The story is a cartoon Rabit get frammed for murder and the only guy who can save him is a former cartoon detective. Adults will love the adult themes and play on words while kids will like seeing the cartoons and the slapstick. One of the greatest films of all time that no one can resist and that's all folks.

Very funny, a great blend of live action and animation.

A fun, clever and genius movie of bringing animation together with real actors. Roger Rabbit is just so cute and it is so much fun watching Bob Hoskins interact with all the cartoon characters.

a pretty good movie. it is really unique how they blended live action with animation. it must have been really hard to make but i thought that it was a well done movie. I liked how they added cartoons from the 40's. i would reccomend seeing it.

Probably Spielberg's best film, this one is overlooked at times, even though it was groundbreaking. The use of live actors with animated characters had never been done in an entire feature length film to my knowledge. The characters are fun and funny at the same time, and the voice-overs are brilliant. Unlike a lot of Spielberg's films, there is actually a plot to this one. Someone is trying to destroy toontown.

Let's see, original characters, disney characters, warner bros. characters... Funny plot! Not your typical kiddie movie... It was Great!

What a great film. If you haven't seen it - where have you been living? Under a rock? Completely original, fantastic, great. It deserves all its 5-star glory. If you haven't seen it, SEE IT! I really loved the way the cartoons and real people mixed, it was amazing when I saw it first. It's essential. Too bad Bob Hoskins ended out making Super Mario Bros. Summary: GREAT AND HILARIOUS.

I loved this movie! This is a great blend of animation and regular motion picture. This wasn't the funniest movie, but it was GREAT!

Wow. Until today i forgot all about this movie. I haven't watched it since I was 10 and I'm regrettting it. This is one of the funniest and coolest movies ever! I have to go rent it right now.

This movie is a riot. I laugh my bootata off to this day when I see this flick. A great blend of humor and drama. Not to mention very impressive visual effects. Have you ever seen a movie before or sense that blended both live action and animation and come out with a better film? If you say the adventures of rocky and bullwinkle I will drop kick you I swear to God! Anyway, the live actors hold their own with their toon comrades in this unforgetable crime capper farce. The Weasles are hilariouse as well as beny the cab and baby Herman. Jessica Rabbit has some definate sex appeal. I'd still go out with her over Julia Roberts.Highly Recommended.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit may or may not appeal to fans of the popular comic book and cartoon series. I personally found some of it to be amusing and the rest to be kind of goofy and annoying in many parts. Bob Hoskins kind of slugs his way throughout the film.

This one was pretty good. One of my favorates as a kid but now it's not all that "great". Not hilariously funny. I like the wide use of cartoon characters from Disney and Warner Bros. It has everything and everyone from Bugs Bunny to Mickey Mouse. Those weasels that are after Roger Rabbit are also pretty cool. I'm not positive but I think Christopher Lloyd plays the bad guy villian boss.

Who doesn't enjoy cartoons? Even better, cartoons AND people? Hey, there's an original idea! Two thumbs up for Who Framed Roger Rabbit?!!
cherryhaze 10/19/2000
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a stunning display of film/animation. The story is highly imaginative, combining the cartoon world with the real world. There still isn't quite anything like this movie. It's in a class of its own.
jmerklinghaus 10/16/2000
Roger Rabbit, a cartoon character, is framed for the murder of a live-action human. This movie is a combination of live-action and animation and a mix of Disney and Warner Bros. animated co-stars and cameos (the fight between Daffy Duck and Donald Duck is not to be missed). Live action and animation interact a LOT more than ANY other movie made, including Phantom Menace.
Munson 09/12/2000
This was a tremendous cinematic achievement and should be remembered as one the top films of the last 10-15 years. Brilliantly put together by Robert Zemeckis, Who Framed Roger Rabbit brings the world of live action together with the world of animation. You get absolutely lost in the interaction and forget that there is obviously no way that Eddie Valiant could be having a conversation with an animated rabbit. This combination of live action with animation would by itself make this a remarkable movie-making feat. But, the story is great, as well. It is both laugh out loud funny and quite touching and heart-warming. If you have always gone right by this film as you've been deciding what to rent or buy, next time stop and grab it. You'll love it whether you're 8, 28, 48, or 68.

"Who Framed Roger Rabbit" was not only a classic and hilarious, but Jessica Rabbit could do it for any male. Who cares if she is a cartoon?
obra3422du 12/21/1999
Jessica Rabbit is hot.
CAMK334OM 10/26/1999
One of the best films of the last 20 yrs. Never been anything like it since.
