He squeezes his eyes shut so hard every time he prays it looks like he's taking the biggest dump of his life. One day he might squeeze so hard that the vessels in his brain will explode.

Robertson and his buddy Jerry Falwell (Rest In Pain Fatso!) are nothing more than christianity's answer to Osama Bin Laden.  These hateful religious wackos are why the atheist movement is growing by leaps and bounds.

Why won't they give us negative stars???    Robertson is to religion what Ahmadinejad is to diplomacy.    I don't know which was worse, his endorsement of Rudi or Rudi's eager lap dog acceptance.  This is the best (among many) reasons for not voting for "America's Mayor."

1 Timothy 6:5 "...who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain." Actually, read all of 1 Tim. 6 to learn a proper attitude about money. As for the so-called "gospel of prosperity", this verse alone proves it's a big fat lie.
And if you want to give Biblically, give to the poor, the widow and the orphan...see the need, meet the need. DON'T BE DECEIVED!!!!

It's pretty obvious to most sensible people that this bozo is a joke.  But what really gets me is that there are apparently LOTS of brainwashed goofballs out there who follow this idiot, and they are politically motivated. This is a perfect example of how dangerous religion can be.  We've seen the fanatical Muslim wackos and what they will do, and history is full of the death and destruction caused to innocent people by lunatic religious cults, of which  Robertson and his flock are a part.  This bonehead recently posted an article on his website entitled, "How to identify a cult". Ha, well Pat, look in the mirror!  You and your nutjob followers are the epitome of a cult!

The man who invented stupid statements. He just removes one foot to put in another. Idiot! LOL, he did it again. His comment on Sharron. Great! Sharron's illness was the "wrath of god." Great Stuff. Here we have Pat telling us it's a punishment from god and george bush praying for him. What great comedy! Now he has apolizied for what he said. That is because Isreal told him he could not build his bible thumper center there. LOL We have a saying down here in the south there Pat. Don't let you aligator mouth overload you tadpole ass.! Pat, your're the poster boy for all the christian faith. OK..here we go. Last night Ole Pat was with another favorite of mine Benny Hinn. Now Pat was telling Benny how god had spoke to him in the past few weeks. It has been revealed to Pat, we'll have many, many earthquakes and the east coast will be plagued by violent hurricanes. Good Pat! One, earthquakes ARE a natural occurance and this is hurricane season. What a revelation. But how many poeple will be taken in by this bs. All the time ole Benny this sitting there taking it all in, nodding his head in approval and praising god and jesus. Hey pat! How come you've not opened that big mouth about Mark Foley. Don't have anything to say about your beloved republicans diddling young boys?

The fact that anyone believes he is a religious man is a real cause for worry. People worried about far away places when they should be questioning who are the religious fanatics supporting this guy.  His multimillion dollar mansion, his antique furniture, his private jet, his million dollar race horse (no joke), the millions of dollars of donated money he said was going to hunger relief and instead went to buy diamond mining equipment..  These things didn't come from g*d, they came from checks that the brainwashed folk wrote to him.

From www.inplainsite.org Pat Robertson is a wealthy man... An extremely wealthy man. Some estimates put his net worth at 140 million. He lives on the top of a Virginia mountain, in a huge mansion with a private airstrip. He owns the Ice Capades, a small hotel, diamond mines, and until recently, International Family Entertainment, parent company of the Family Channel. How does a televangelist, who is supposedly involved in non-profit work, manage to create such a fortune for himself?

Pat, please, please do not speak for me any further. I don't think God or I need you to stand up for what we believe, especially since what you believe seems quite different. And while you're at it, please stop passing off the Republican agenda as though is was some sort of Christian mantra. And BTW, your showcasing of Tom DeLay as one who was blameless and persecuted was nothing short of ludicrous. Maybe you should read the news some time before you start telling others what to believe.

This man is a joke. He embarrases me with his unreal, stupid remarks and predictions. He is a pseudo-politician. Says anything to bolster his fame, no matter how stupid. Like all people striving to influence politicians, he says what he believes will advance his causes. How sad for a man who call himself a minister. How very sad. Pat should remember the old cliche regarding keeping your mouth shut so that people will not have proof that you are a fool. The most dangerous man in America? No, the most embarrasing man in the world, in my opinion. One of his main misinterpretations of the scripture is the "speaking in tongues". Jesus told his disciple to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Since there were so many languages in the little known world of that time, they were given the ability to speak to these people in the hopes of converting them in their own languages. Check out that on the day of Pentecost, there were people in the streets outside that remarked that the disciples were speaking to them in their own tongues. With this ability to carry the gospel to all the world, in any language, the church grew mightily. The scriptures tell us not to speak in a other languages unless there is an interpretor present to convey the message to the listeners. This "speaking in tongues" is a late comer to the present day church and consists of a almost hypnotic state in which a person mumbles virtually the same thing over and over and carries no message to spread the gospel. Check out the history of the present day church and you will find that this "speaking in tongues" is a ceremonial function a little over a century old and has no meaning to anyone other than to elevate the status of a fundamentalist in the eyes of his peers. I am really embarrased to hear Pat claim that he has a private line to God when my teachings tell me that I have the same direct line to my Savior and I hear no foolishness to get on TV and tell. My God speaks to me through my conscience and comforts me and leads me as much as I will let Him, into the paths of righteousness. No ignorant rantings to get on TV and make a fool of myself.

A very very rich man who uses the pulpit to influence elections by promoting politicians that will protect his great wealth from being taxed to help feed the poor. Imagine that.
This guy taught Christians in america that it is just fine to gossip. He gossips all the time from the pulpit. The entire time President Clinton was in office, this guy gossipped about him. Instead of praying for him.
If I thought this guy was really a representative of Christ I would take my chances with the devil. At least the devil admits to being the devil............

Someone needs to pass the salt to this foot stuffer. Seems as soon as he gets a taste for one, it sours on him and he turns to the other one. Perhaps a little seassoning might get him to make up his mind. As for him thinking he's God's mouth, he might think he's right, but what's the good of being right if you're looking like an ass in the present, and burning up in the future. Maybe he'll end up like that one kid in the drug prevention commercial, you know the one with his hand stuck inside his mouth where you can't understand a word that comes out. A silent Pat might get past Saint Peter, but not this current trend.

UPDATE 3: He says that Sharon had a stroke as a punishment from God. So why exactly did Ole Pat get prostate cancer? UPDATE 2: He says today that he meant something like kidnapping Chavez, not blowing the guy's head off. Who does he think he's kidding!!! BTW, Chavez has deemed Ole Pat to be a fascist. For a man who didn't know who Pat Robertson was before, he sure does learn fast. UPDATE: Look everybody! Pat has said something else controversial: assassinate another head of state, namely Hugo Chavez of Venezuala. Why don't you go to the following URL and read the rest of the good news: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/wireStory?id=1060460. Yee Haw!!! Smoke 'em cowboy!! Pat is terrible. He has done nothing but spread his racist, misogynistic view for decades. Pat seemed to love the likes of David Soul, Glen Campbell, and Nick Nolte even though both of them have been busted for one thing or another: woman beaters all. When his former co-host Danuta confessed to have had an affair, she was gone in a hurry. Such a hypocrite has never been born since! ONE MORE THING: When is this guy ever gonna get the end of the world thing right? He has predicted the apocalypse over and over again, and nothing has happened. Didn't the Bible say that no man will know when the end of the world will be? Give it up dude! According to the one you believe in you will always get it wrong. UPDATE: Tell me something, what is with Pat and the Red Chinese? He said that he sometimes believes they care more about religious liberties than America does. He still wants to hobnob with human rights abusers like Liberia's Charles Taylor. Pat has even been accused of trying to smuggle him into this country. Is he still using Operation Blessing for his diamond and gold mining operations? I guess his little operation is all about blessing one person: himself. One more question: when Pat came up with prostate cancer, why in the world didn't he get his big buddy healer Benny Hinn to cure him? Is it because HE'S NOTHING BUT A DAMNED FAKE?!!!

Just one of the myriad of reasons I hold Ronald Reagan in such disdain is that he gave guys like this a certain legitimacy and cachet they wouldn't have had otherwise. Before Reagan, a clown like Robertson would have been preaching on Sundays in some back-woods church in Armpit, Mississippi, handling snakes, talking in tongues, healing the lame and sick like a 2nd-rate Jim Jones, writhing on the floor in ecclesiastical ecstasy, and preaching about the imminence of the rapture (or Rapture if you're Christian) and the need to become Born Again in order to avoid the eternal torments of Hell inflicted by our loving, merciful God. Then the collection plate would get passed around and things would revert to their normal somnambulent state of inertia until next Sunday. Ray-gun came along and bestowed official recognition on Grade-Z Elmer Gantry wanna-be's and oily tricksters like Jerry Falwell and this chowder-head and suddenly they were a Media Sensation, a prominent and ubiquitous addition to every heretefore serious discussion of the political landscape, thereby discrediting religion and American politics and the media. Preacher-politicians began appearing on all the talking-head news programs, appeared at Official Fund-Raising dinners with guys like Reagan and his political cronies, addressed and pontificated at Republican Think-Tanks as if they were erudite and distinguished Elder Statesmen, and achieved an elevated status and prominence that they themselves probably never dreamed about in their early days of selling bibles door-to-door, or holding pot-luck suppers to raise funds to build their churches. Robertson actually was a serious contender for the American Presidency, and what clearer illustration would one need to demonstate the decline and deterioration of our America society than this? Is it any wonder that our political system has become an international joke? Robertson's recent comments about Chavez are just more of the same old bulls**t...the same hypocrisy of a supposed religious leader calling for assassination and then lying about it, the same hypocrisy of pro-lifers killing abortion doctors to demonstrate the sancity of human life, or of trying to alter our ostensibly secular society into a theocracy, or of trying to transform Christianity from a religion into an adjunct of the Republican party. Just one poisonous legacy of the Reagan Revolution.

Pat is kind of a contradiction. He is a Southern Baptist and yet his is charismatic. One thing that does concern me is this thing where he says that he can somehow know the needs for healing of some of those in the TV audience, and that he then is somehow enabled by God to raise his hand and heal them through the TV camara and across the air waves. There are some good things about Pat and his TV ministry, and yet there are also some bogus things...

The worse thing that could happen to the US is to move towards a theocracy. Pat has spent his life preaching Christ. Just for the record, prosperity is not a bad thing! At what point did Christians having money become a bad thing? With that philosophy, If you're against prosperity and if you are a Christian and have a job or any sort of income, you're doomed. According to that philosoplhy, you're pursuing financial gain if you trade time for money or have saved money. You people amaze me at the stupid remarks!
