A 3.5. An ant named Flik ruins everything when he accidentally loses all the food for the grasshoppers. He goes to recruit circus bugs to help him get the food back. Not the best Pixar film but there are a few funny moments here and there.

Good movie. Good animation. Outtakes at the end are a nice touch.

Dot is sooooo cute

Awesome! I had to babysit a 3 year-old and this film really helped out. . .I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would.

This is the cutest movie I ever did see. It was also the first animated movie that I watched that tried to make all the characters more realistic by applying bloopers at the end. It worked wonderfully. Considering I don't even like bugs, this is one of my favorite family movies. Kevin Spacey does a great job, too, in supplying the voice for Hopper.

I really enjoyed it. I enjoy a lot of 3-D films, and this has to be my 2nd favorite (I only like Toy Story better). I recommend it. It's a bit childish sometimes, but in the end it feels worth the effort. So far we've had Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Dinosaur, Finaly Fantasy, Shrek, Antz, Monsters Inc., Ice Age, and this (hope I'm not missing any, probably am), and this, I believe, is one of the best. (The worst being Dinosaur by a mile. Summary: ALTHOUGH CHILDISH AT TIMES (HEY IT'S A CHILDS MOVIE), A BUGS LIFE IS STILL AWESOME ENTERTAINMENT.

Utterly fantastic! This great 3D animation cartoon is fully equipt with famous voices, (such as Dave Foley), terrific animation, cute bugs and some great one liners that make it fun and appealing to both adults and children alike. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out. I bought this movie because it was so funny and original and is 100% better than the try-hard Warner Bros movie "Antz". It is a heart-warming film, tha teaches us the good things in lfie and is full of adventure and humerous anecdotes throughout.

A Bug's Life was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed watching the nice, inventive animation and listening to some familar voices. One thing I liked was how visually done the animation was. The scripts were very childish, but it was still a good movie.

It's so hard to come up with a 5 star film period. I won't rate any movie 5 stars, really. But this is so good. My 2 1/2 year old loves it. Almost as much as I do.
