It had it's moments, but I would hardly call it brilliant. While the show was okay it did have a feel of Saturday morning television coming to prime time.

A really amazing show...amazing that it was ever picked up by a network in the first place. Oddly, though, I have to say that I liked the ALF character. It's just that I feel it would have made more sense to see him as a regular on the Muppet Show vs. a half-hour sitcom.

Maybe not brilliant but it was very funny and fun to watch, a real TV classic.

If I think back me and my friends watched the show in its first run to be ironic cynical hipsters embracing the lamest of pop culture to get a reaction out of people. I used to be young and foolish, but I'm not so young anymore.

You know, I liked Alf. I liked him to the point that I got the Alf hand puppets from Burger King (remember those?). I still don't find the show particularly brilliant and I think the show got about as long of a run as it deserved.

I used to love Alf. It is interesting that the producers and writers of ALF were able to take a novelty and make an actually hilarious sitcom out of it. ALF wasn't to be taken seriously but it was cheesy good fun.

Was a cute family show. Alf was good as a sarcastic alien.

The Tanner house was never dull with ALF around.

Tripe. About as forgettable as "My Mother the Car."
